"What happened yn? All okay? You look so pale", said my elder brother with concern.
I was at the verge of crying and couldn't hold it anymore. I narrated him the whole thing. He asked me not to worry and I was rest assured.

He went to meet Tae. I was totally unaware of this scene. I don't know what conversation they had but the very next day, we did an official breakup.

"Breakup, but why?", I asked Tae.
"Because your brother said to do so", he replied.

I didn't ask any more questions and let him free.

"Brother said me not to worry and he will take care of this situation but what did he do? He made us break up. What made him do this?"

A lot of questions were making room in my head but neither I had courage to ask him nor I wanted them to answered because I no more wanted to get hurt.

The next day while I was passing through the corridor, I bumped into someone.
I looked at the person and he asked, "Did you cry last night?".
"No, I didn't", I replied while diverting my gaze.
"I know, you did", he exclaimed.
"Riyaz please, I need to go", I said and left.

The best thing was, our bond was never related to Tae. After the end of chapter Tae, Riyaz was still there for me. I never appreciated his presence but when I look back, I see him in every important phase of my life. Despite me being moody, rude, and acting like an arrogant fool, he still stood by my side and supported me.

Few days passed, Tae and Riyaz were still not to square one. They didn't speak much. Riyaz used to spend time with me, irritate me and make me feel happy.

On Riyaz's birthday, he gave me a big chocolate. I wished him a happy birthday.

"Where's my gift?", he asked.
"The biggest gift is having a friend like me in your life", I replied. He rolled his eyes at that.

The next day, I was purchasing a chocolate when unluckily my brother snatched it from me.
"Aww, I knew it. My sis cares about me a lot", he said while opening the wrapper. 
"Bro, it isn't for you", I bursted at him and took my chocolate back.
"Then who is it for?", he chased me.
"Myself", I replied and got out of his sight.

"Hey, can you please give this to Riyaz", I said and handed a female classmate the chocolate which I bought after a war.

"So, you got your chocolate", I asked as we were sitting in English class. 
He nodded with a smile.
"It's the first time that I gave someone a chocolate", I said and he smiled more but less did he know that I was lying. 

"Bags are going to be checked", a guy made an announcement.

"Mobile phone"
"My ciggarette pack"
"What if they confiscate my favourite perfume"

Troubles made room everywhere in the class.

"Amy, do you have something special?", I asked. She shook her head.
"Damn, I have a love letter which Tae gave me", I panicked.
"My chocolates", a well known voice caught my attention. I turned around and glared at Riyaz.
"What was the need to keep in the bag? Can't you keep it with you", I scolded him.

"Ma'am, during the bag checking, I lost my chocolates", Riyaz exclaimed.
"Who gave you this?", Principal Ma'am questioned.
"No one", he replied diverting his gaze.
"Tell me the truth, who gave you this?", she again questioned.
"Can't I myself buy and eat a chocolate?", he questioned back.
"You could also buy after the school hours", she said.
"Today, shops will be closed due to Friday", he replied.
"When did you plan to eat? Today you have a half-day I think", she said with anger.
"Anytime, after a class", he answered.
"After which class?", she asked.
"After any class, any time. Is it necessary to receive a chocolate from someone. Can't we buy and eat?", he bursted in anger.
"Didn't expect this from you Riyaz. Now take it", she said with a guilty pleasure and handed him back the chocolate.
"Thanks", he said and left.

"What was the need to have an argument just for a chocolate", I asked him.
"It's not just a normal chocolate. It's a gift which you gave to me. A gift means a lot of feelings", he replied.
