"Just because of you, I lost my Tae", I bursted on Rii.
"Yn, you are nothing but just blind in love. He just used me as an excuse to get rid of you. He never loved you. Why don't you just understand?", he consoled me.

Few months passed.

"Hey yn, next month is your birthday. I need to say you something which I always wanted to. Will you pick my call on your birthday?", Rii texted.
"Of course, I will. Anyway, how are you doing? Is everything alright in your life?", I asked.
"Yes", he texted back and we had a good conversation with laughters.

My birthday month has arrived.
A notification popped up. I smiled as soon as I saw Rii's name on the screen.
"Yn, I was supposed to say this on your birthday but I'm unable to hold it now. So.."
"So..? I'm listening", I said.

"I've really started falling for you yn. I love you but I don't want to ruin our friendship in anyway. You don't need to answer me. I just wanted to speak my heart out. That's it", and he confessed.

I was shocked and surprised. My heart beats were faster to an extent that it will just bounce out. I took a deep breath and then replied,

"You know that I love Tae and I'll always love him. No matter how much time it takes, I'll wait for him. There is no room for others. Let's just be friends".

"Yeah that's all okay", he replied but I could feel that pain in my heart.

Next day, I went to my college and sat on the last bench.
There was a lecture going on but I was not mentally present. I was thinking about Rii and tears started flowing.

All my friends were like, "Yn, what happened. Why are you crying?"

I had no answer because I myself didn't know that why was I crying. I felt bad for Rii. He was there in my good and bad times. He supported me everytime. He stood by my side. He always chose me regardless expecting anything in return. He did a lot of efforts.

I went back home and texted, "I accept your proposal"

The reply I got was so unexpected.
"Look yn, if you aren't sure about your feelings, don't force them. But, if you want to move on, I'm here to support you. Be with me, and I'll solve everything for you. I can't be Tae but I promise to be the best Rii you've ever known. All your worries are mine and all my happiness is yours. I can't see you cry or suffer. Just listen to your heart"

"I want to move on Rii. I want you. I want to be happy. I want to live", I said with all my hopes.

"Don't worry yn. I'm here to love you at your best and worst. I can't promise but I'll give you all the happiness I can. You're mine", he replied.

"And you're mine"
