Anika was getting Aadi ready for the dinner. She made him wear a white t-shirt and black shorts.

Aa- Mumma, I handshome!

Aadi asked while touching his t-shirt with his hands and Anika chuckled while brushing his hair.

A- Yes, my baby is very handsome. Can I tell you a secret?

Anika said and Aadi grew curious.

Aa- Yesh mumma.

A- You're even more handsome than your dadda.

Anika said and Aadi's eyes glittered in happiness.

Aa/S- really!?

Aadi said with happiness and Shivaay with surprise as he entered the room just now and heard the scandalous statement.

Anika looked at Shivaay and bit her tongue.

Shivaay smirked and walked closer to them.

S- What were you saying?

A- Uh.. I... Aadi, you wanted to choose mumma's saree, come on. Let's go.

Anika said frantically and Aadi nodded his head and they ran out of the room.

Shivaay looked at Anika's antics and burst into laughter.

S- Silly girl.

After few minutes, Shivaay went to his room and saw Anika all dressed up in a magenta saree.

She was trying to wear a necklace but couldn't lock the hook.

S- Can I help?

Before Anika could say anything, Shivaay stepped closer and hooked her necklace. Shivaay looked at the mirror and realised that Anika was already looking at him. They shared an eyelock.

Their eyelock was broken by Aadi who came.running towards them and hugged Anika.

Aa- Mumma, I'm hungly.

Anika and Shivaay looked at Aadi, who was looking at them with a pout.

S- I'll go get him some dinner.

A- No. You go and get ready and I'll feed him.

Anika said and Shivaay nodded his head.

Shivaay went to get ready and Anika took Aadi to feed him.

She served a small amount of food in a plate and made him sit on the chair and sat beside him with a plate.

Aa- What ish thish, Mumma?

Aadi said while picking up some beans and scrunching his nose.

A- Oh! I didn't tell you about this. It's a very big secret and only superheroes know about it.

Anika said and Aadi grew curious.

Aa- Shupelheloes?

A- Yes. Do you want to know it?

Aadi curiously nodded his head.

A- You know this is known as Magic green stick. Do you know superman, captain America and Spiderman eat this that's why they are so strong and have superpowers. Do you also want superpowers? Will you eat it?

Anika asked Aadi with a smile and he nodded his head eagerly.

Anika smiled and started feeding him.

Soon Aadi was done with his dinner and they went to his room.

They played for few hours and then Aadi drifted into sleep. Anika covered him with a blanket and kissed his forehead.

Anika came out of Aadi's door and saw Shivaay coming her way.

S- Is he asleep?

A- Yeah! It was a long day for him.

S- Hmm. Let's go. I guess Guests have arrived just now.

Anika nodded her head. As soon as she stepped forward, Shivaay forwarded his elbow towards and she frowned in confusion. Shivaay Smiled and took her hand and wrapped it around his elbow. Anika just smiled at him.

S- Now it's perfect.

They descended the stairs and saw the guests entering.

Dr. Ravish Singhaniya and his wife, Mrs. Vaidehi Singhaniya entered first.

They were followed by their beloved daughter, Tia who was dressed a "little" extra for the dinner.

Anika and Shivaay looked at Tia in surprise.

A- Wow! I never thought that it was Met Gala.

After listening to Anika's comment, Shivaay was trying his best to control his laughter.

S- I guess, it is.

Shivaay and Anika exchanged glances and chuckled.

At the end of the stairs, they met the Singhaniya family.

As soon as Tia saw Shivaay, She pounced at him and hugged Shivaay. Shivaay groaned in irritation.

S- Tia.

Shivaay warned her and tried to push her but it looked like she was fixed to him with glue.

Anika noticed Shivaay's discomfort and pinched Tia's waist and Tia immediately stepped back wincing in pain.

T- Ouch! You b*tch! Why did you attack me?

Tia accused anika and Anika gasped in fake surprise.

A- Me? I didn't even touch you, Ms. Singhaniya. What are you talking about?

Anika maintained an innocent face and Shivaay was trying to control his laugh. He was enjoying antics of his fiesty wife, way too much.

A- Shivaay, did you see anything?

S- No. I didn't see anything.

A- See.

Anika smirked at Tia and Tia just glared at her angrily.

Jhanvi just cleared her throat to cool down the atmosphere little bit.

Shivaay held Anika's hand and walked towards Dr and Mrs Singhaniya.

S- Hello Dr. Singhaniya. Congratulations on the surgery. Hello Mrs. Singhaniya, you look beautiful.

R/V- Thank you Shivaay.

S- Let me introduce you to my pretty wife, Mrs. Anika Shivaay singh oberoi.

Shivaay said while wrapping his arm around Anika's waist and she greeted them. Their smile faded at the mention of wife but they immediately covered it with a fake smile.

V- It's good to meet you.

Anika smiled at her.

A- pleasure is all mine, Ma'am.

J- Let's go and start dinner.

They all nodded their head and headed towards dining area.

They all settled down except Shivika and Tia. Tia immediately sat on the chair beside Shivaay's accustomed chair and smirked at Anika.

Shivaay and Anika noticed it and frowned at what was she trying to do.

Shivaay pulled a chair for Anika and she settled down. Shivaay settled down beside her and smiled at her warmly. After watching this, Tia's smirk turned into an angry frown and she glared at Anika.

T- Shivaay, why are you sitting there? This is your seat. You always sit here.

Tia said while patting the chair beside her and Shivaay frowned.

S- I know, Tia but I want to sit with my wife and things change with time. I guess your dress needs some space to settle down as well.

Shivaay said while controlling his laughter and Tia clutched her fork tightly in her grip and faked a smile.

Vaidehi looked at this and frowned. There was only one thought in her mind and that was about Shivaay and Tia. Why did Shivaay marry that anika? It was her daughter's right. Here, her daughter was suffering and Shivaay didn't even care about it.

V- Shivaay, why did you get married so suddenly? We never thought that you would elope and get married. Even when you were supposed to marry Tia.

Vaidehi said with a fake sweet smile and Anika frowned.

S- Actually, Mrs. Singhaniya, love has its way. For me, it was love at first sight. When i first saw Anika, i fell in love with her, her beauty, her simplicity and her selflessness and i didn't want to lose her so decided to get married asap. And I think Marriage is a precious bond between two people and those two people are enough for each other, it doesn't require a whole district to get married. Of course, family is important too, that's why I'm planning our reception soon.

Shivaay announced and Anika choked on her saliva. Everyone looked at him in shock.

J- You didn't tell us about reception?

Jhanvi asked him with a frown.

S- Because It was supposed to be a surprise but I guess the rabbit is already out of the hat. So yes, We will soon have our reception party. And you all are invited.

Tia clutched the fork so tightly and then there it on the floor and everyone looked at her in shock.

T- Uh... Sorry. I guess it slipped out of my hand.

S- It's alright! Sometimes, it happens.

Soon the Dinner was served and everyone was enjoying their dinner.

R- So anika, What's your profession? If your dont mind me asking.

A- Of course, Im studying law.

Anika said with a smile and Vaidehi frowned.

R- Still studying? How old are you?

Anika looked at him hesitantly.

A- I'm 20.

Vaidehi started laughing.

V- 20? And you're Shivaay Singh Oberoi's wife? How are you even going to manage everything? And Aadi? I'm sure he hates you. He never accepts any stranger in his life and it's been, what just two days since you arrived.

Before Anika could say anything, they were cut off by Aadi's voice, who was running down the stairs with his teddy bear clutching under his elbow and he was rubbing his eyes.

Aa- Mumma!

Anika turned to look at him worriedly and was about to get up when Aadi himself ran towards her.

Anika picked up Aadi in her arms and made him sit on his lap.

A- What happened, baby?

Aa- Mumma, I had a bad dleam. It wash monshtels.

Aadi said and Anika smiled at his cuteness.

A- But you ate magic green sticks, I'm sure you could've beaten that monster.

Anika said and Aadi's eyes widened.

Aa- Leally?

Aadi asked her and Anika nodded her head.

Aa- Mumma, shleepy.

A- Do you want us to go to your room?

Aadi shook his head in negative.

Aa- hele.

Aadi said and Anika smiled.

Soon Aadi drifted into sleep in Anika's lap and Anika was caressing his hair softly. Everyone was looking at them in shock and surprise.

S- I hope you got your answer, Mrs. Singhaniya.

Shivaay smirked at her and the Singhaniya s were seething in anger.
