CHAPTER ELEVEN
It was still the night when both were cuddling while enjoying the best sleep within their arms. She had her head stuck in his chest while his chin was placed over her forehead. Suddenly she woke up feeling thirsty like every night she did. Though she didn't have any nightmares but this habit of hers never got away.
She was walking towards the kitchen when she heard someone sobbing. She straight went into the room only to find Parth crying with his knees near his chest as his head was placed on them covered with his arms. "Parth" she called him. He raised his head and immediately ran to her. He held her waist and started crying loudly. "I miss mumma" he was crying and at the same time shaking with the voice. She unwrapped his arms and sat on her knees to face him directly "Par mumma is with us always" she said cupping his face.
"No, she is not. Voh mujhe chod ke jaa chuki hain" he cried again. She was confused of how to calm him down. Since the time they entered his house, Parth never cried like this. His tears always broke her from inside. It felt as if she was not successful in fulfilling the promise she made to Jhanvi. Though Parth was a tough boy, but still he was a kid who anyway was unable to understand the situations that went into their lives.
"Moms never go anywhere, little one. Moms always stay with their kids to have a watch if they are fine" she heard his voice. Omkara came near them and sat down on his knees facing Parth. "Mumma is here with you Parth. She never left you" his tone was calm. He spoke as if he knew how to calm the storm that was going inside this little kid. "Mumma just has something more important in the heaven to do. You told me that she was ready to do anything for you right?" Parth immediately nodded in agreement. "So, she is discussing with the angels about the ways to make you happy" he smiled.
"Really?" Parth asked with the brightness in his eyes. "Really" Omkara answered smiling. "But everyone have their moms and dads in the school. I am the only one who is left alone" his smile dropped again. "I don't want to go to school. I hate school. I hate school" Parth said stubbornly. "Eisa nahi bolte bachcha. School is important" Gauri cupped his face. "No, I don't want to go" he jerked her hands stubbornly.
"All of them have a mom and dad. They come with them, play with them. I am the only one who doesn't have mom or dad" Parth had a sad expression. "Par, Parth school is..." she saw Parth moving to bed. "Aap log jaao. I am okay" he covered himself with a blanket. "Parth.." he cuts her "maasi, aap jaao. I said I am okay" he tightened the grip on the blanket. "Gauri, give him some time" Omkara held her shoulders. "Par Om yeh... Parth..." "It's okay, I will handle" he sends her out.
"Good morning maasi" Parth greets her with his smile back on his face. Good morning little one" she smiled back. "Okay bye... I think I will be late" she furrowed. "Late for?" "School maasi" he answered in an oblivious tone. "You are going to school" she asked surprised. "Obviously.... I have to.. It's important" he shrugged.
She was confused but happy. Confused because how on this earth did this boy changed his decision and happy because he was ready to go to school with a smile on his face. She knew there had been something that took place when she left the two boys alone, but didn't wanted to ask Parth because she was not ready to take smile off his face again.
"Good morning baby" Omkara spoke almost letting her jump of shock. "My goodness, you scared me" she slapped his arms. "Ouch... It hurts" he mocked. "Ha.. Nyc joke" she furrowed her eyebrows. "What happened? You were lost somewhere?" he asked. "No, actually Parth..." she stopped. "What happened to him?" he asked. "What happened between you two the last night? Seems like he actually has forgotten everything" she asked surprised. "Oh that... Nothing, just a boy secret" he winked. "No secret please. Tell me now" curiosity of hers was on peak. "Nope, not before he returns" he shook his head. "Pleaseeee" she blinked like babies. "No baby not now" and he left without hearing what she had to say.
The whole day in the office she was just tapping her desk, placing files here and there, drinking water like crazy and just anything but concentrate on work.
The door of her cabin opened when she saw him moving in "busy?". "Yaa, look I have a whole universe to get moving... Hell busy" she answered in a sarcastic tone. "Someone looks angry" he smirked. "No I am happy" she faked a smile. "Oh come on baby, you don't even know how much fu..."
You really need a filter for the mouth of yours Om" she muttered as she felt his lips on her burning her body like fire. This time she looped her arms around his neck and grabbed his hair pulling in and responding in the best way sage could. She felt his hands all over her as he started snaking his arms around her waist.
"Have you..." " Yes, I have locked the door" he answered rolling his eyes. She pulled his tie getting him closer as she pressed her lips gaining a smirk from him. He moved their bodies to a place where her back rested on the wall. He gently pulled out moving to keep chin and then her neck. She responded without even thinking once. The feeling was different. It was not just lust but something that people call love.
"Gauri beta" Shakti entered as both of them looked at each other with wide eyes. Thankfully they were behind the almirah making them invisible. "Gauri.." Shakti called again. Gauri was almost to reply when Omkara placed his hand on her mouth and his forefinger on his lips "shhhh". "I think she is not here" Shakti left sighing.
He released her mouth gaining a death glare. "Your idea of closing the door and my idea of closing the door are two different things it seems" she crossed her hands around her chest. "Uncle" he sighed. "Aren't you one crazy being Mr Oberoi?" she furrowed her eyebrows. "Yeah crazy for you" she rolled her eyes on the statement.
"Hello my boy" she greeted Parth as she entered the door. "Omi uncle" he ran towards Omkara as he hugged her reaching to his waist. "Hello buddy" he kneeled down and hugged him back. "Does anyone remember that I am back too" she looked at Parth. "Grow up" Both Parth and Om said in chorus. She rolled her eyes again.
"Anyway... What is the thing you want to tell me Parth?" she kneeled down. "Maasi, I have a mom and dad now" he said cheerfully. "Wh... what?" she was shocked. "We are adopting him" he answered. "You are ado... adopting Parth???" another shock. "We are adopting Parth. Papers are ready, you just have to sign them" her jaw dropped. "Mumma" he hugged Gauri as a tear dropped from her face.
"You really are adopting him?" she asked as a confirmation. "We are adopting him Gauri. He is your and my son and will remain like that forever" she still had Parth in her arms. "I love you Om. I really really love you. Not because you did all things to me. But also because you gave him what I could never have been. Because you understood me like no one ever did. Thank you for being in our life. I love you" she said as tears kept dropping. "No more tears now" he wiped them through his fingers "I hate tears in your eyes" he hugged both "it is what I dreamt of and you both are what I wanted. Nothing more now, and tears not at all".
She didn't know what life had... She didn't know what would they face... But right now everything was as she ever wanted. Every thing was absolutely perfect.
And it's a wrap..... I am ready for all the andas and chappals you I know will throw on me. And I know this was not at all a perfect chapter too...
