-3rd Person-

Three familiar figures approaches the gigantic gate of Konoha, where two well-known guards are watching right now.

Honestly- nothing much really happened on their return. There were a lot of catching up between the three of them, Mizuki, Shikamaru and Kogaine. It was a very quick day to be honest. They talked about what they did for the past three years and blah blah blah.

Apparently Shikamaru found out that Mizuki is now a Chuunin, she took the test when she was in the Cloud Village- more like forced to take it or else she won't be able to eat sushi throughout the rest of her stay with Ai and the others....

He so found out how she mastered her needles, but admitted that she lacks very much on Physical strength. The only things that she can is to concentrate her chakra on her hands and lower body- but she gets tired waaaay too quickly.

"Welcome back guys! How was your mission?" Izumo asks as he stand up, greeting the three individuals with a smile as they continously approach the gate.

"I-Izumo-san! Hello, the mission went smooth as butter" Mizuki replies with a smile, waving at the two guards.

"Well that's great to hear! But you know what's a better news?" Kotetsu asks with an excited smile before looking at Izumo then back to Mizuki.

"Naruto is back!" The two cheered happily, an imaginary party effect behind their figures.

-Mizuki-

"Naruto is back!"

The monent I hear those words leave their mouth, I couldn't help but feel happy, nervous and sad.

I can finally see my brother! Oh how I really really missed him so much, I've been waiting for this day since I left the village three years ago!....but why hasn't he written back from my letters? Was he too busy training?

But... it's literally three years... I wrote to him every single day but not one he responded to?

Maybe I'm being too overly negative about this, MAYBE I just got the wrong address the entire time...

"ki.....Mizuki!" A voice rang through my head as I snap out of my trance, looking up and seeing everyone giving me a worried look.

"H-hai! Do you know where Onii-chan is?" I kindly asked with a smile.

"I'm pretty sure he's somewhere near the office, try going to the Ramen shop" Izumo-san says with a smile, pointing to the direction where Ichiraku is.

"T-thank you!"

-Naruto-

I slurp down the last noodle from my bowl before letting out a huge grin.

MAN, I MISSED THIS! The flavor, the aroma, the noodles.... the eggg and the Charsu! Wowowowow this is totally going to my weddjng reception.

All you can eat Ichiraku Ramen! What a dream!

Giving my thanks, I quickly left the Ramen booth. Continuing my way down the lively street, I couldn't help but admire the scenery of the smiling faces of the villagers, the children running around.

It feels so good to be back! I feel like I'm missing something...

I thought deeply as to what I felt like was missing intil I saw a glimpse of red through the bustling crowd.

MIZUKI!

HOW CAN I FORGET ABOUT MY SISTER???? Oh shit THE LETTERS!

I swear I didn't forget about the letters, but I was so busy training Day and Night that I actually didn't have the chance to write back at all! I mean there were times I had breaks for a day but I always sleep the entirety of the day!

Oh nononono, I hope she doesn't say anything about it-

I push my way through the crowd, seeing her bright red hair getting closer and closer and closer....

Oh it's just some kid wearing a wig...

I felt something shatter inside me a bit as I take a step back from the kid before walking to a different direction.

I really do miss her. I really really do, I hope she's doing well. I'm stronger now, I can protect her this time, no doubts. I can be a better brother now, I don't have to see her suffer anymore.

*Thump*

"S-sorry!" A familiar sweet voices gasps out in panic as I bump into someone causing them to fall down on the ground.

"Nono, my bad for not looki-" Bafor I could even finish my sentence, my eyes met with a very family blue gaze, strand of red hair falling on her face.

"M-Mizuki..." I blurted out in a whisper, in awe that I actually bumped into her. She grew up looking amazing! Her hair, her eyes, her features...

"O-onii-chan?" She calls out in a very confused tone, squinting her eyes, trying to recognize me.

Her eyes lights up happily, sparkling in delight before tackling me into a hug.

"O-onii-chan!" She chirps out happily with a bright smile, hugging me tighter and tighter.

"Mizuki, I can't believe that it's you, I missed you! How are you?!" I asked with a laugh, hugging her back with all I can.

She's finally here!

"I-I'm doing great! I just got back from an escorting mission and found out that you just got back from your training as well! I really missed you Onii-chan, everyday I just worry about your and your well-being!" She happily said in the hug.

The warm feeling came right back to me like the day when me and Mizuki were still together as kids, I couldn't help but give out a soft smile, hugging her tighter and tighter. She grew so much...

Her hair got shorter, her smile got brighter, her scent is the same old Cherry... but her eyes got dimmer, it looks like it holds something that I'm not sure about.

We stayed in the hugging position for quite a while, feeling the stares of the on going passerby's, not giving a care about the world.

"H-how are you Onii-chan?" She softly asks , still hugging me. I can literally feel her heartbeat- that's how tight the hug.

"I'm doing well! I just arrived a couple of hours ago from a small mission, I was told by that old lady that I have to go on a mission tomorrow, Gaara was captured by the Akatsuk—" Before I could even finish my sentence I was cut off when Mizuki suddenly jerked up from I said sith a worried look.

"W-what? Gaara-san got captured?!" She asks in a panic, countless of thoughts running through her mind.

I was so sure that right after the Genin exams, Mizuki managed to befriend Gaara. So everytime he would visit the village, she would come with him for the rest of their stay.

"Sadly, but I'm sure that he's going to be okay! Me, Sakura and Kakashi will be going to the mis—"

"W-why am I not allowed to come with you?" She asks with a frown, loosening her grip on me before slowly standing up.

"I also mentioned this to the old lady, but she said that you just came from a mission and you need time to rest" I explained while standing up as well, following her steps as we start to walk around the streets.

"B-but it was just an escorting mission, it didn't really take a toll on me..."

"I'm sure that it didn't, Mizuki-chan. But I want you to rest for now, we'll make sure that Gaara is safe alright? We'll bring him back to the Sand Village safely" I reassured with a smile as we stop infront of our house.

"Y-you go take a rest Onio-chan, I know that you must've been tired from your return. I'm just going to go get some groceries to restock our food and supplies" She says with a smile before wuickly walking off.

As I watch her figure slowly disappear within the crowd, my smile drops into a frown as her res hair disappears.

There was this heavy feeling in my chest, as if telling me that something is wrong.
