-Mizuki-

" So how's your three years' worth of training? Learned any new techniques?" Shikamaru asks as we walk side by side on the streets.

After we left the Office earlier, Shikamaru said that he'll inform the gang that they will have some barbecue for dinner, but what they didn't know is that I'll be joining them for dinner.

Apparently, Onii-chan already came back to the village about a week ago, but he's currently busy with a small solo mission right now, so basically he'll be back either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

"Hmm I-it's been worthwhile, I've learned so many Taijutsu and Ninjutsu Techniques from Ai-san and Bee-san. I-I also learned deeper into the medical techniques that A-Alex-san thought me" I said with a hum, I couldn't stop my small smile since I can still reminisce the disasters that happened when I was still trying to revive a fish.

Did you know? The fish lived- but we just made it into sashimi, minutes later.

Poor mister fishy

"I'm glad that you improved in all the aspects, I would love to see those improvements later in the future, the author said that something will be happening not too lon---"

"S-Shikamaru!Don't spoil them!" I exclaim with a small glare and lightly punching his arm before looking at the reader who's reading this book with a small smile.

"D-don't mind him, he's just saying random things," I told the readers before clearing up my throat and then continued our way to the barbeque place. Seeing how the streets of Konoha are still so lively after three whole years. 

I looked at a nearby shopped and recognized that it was from one of my batchmate's shops and also Shikamaru's teammate. I see Ino-san tendering the wide variety of flowers inside her shop, to think that at a young age, she's already handling her role as a Chuunin and also a young flower vendor-- I mean also with the help of her mother, Noriko-san. (Yes, I researched about Ino's mother, she actually exists---)

"Ino's family business has been booming lately since there's this really well-known actor that bought a bouquet from their shop, ever since then, it's non-stop business hours for them," Shikamaru says with a shrug before folding both his arms on the back of his head while we continue to walk.

It's finally around late afternoon, probably five in the afternoon... definitely the right time for dinner. I can't help but touch my stomach from hunger since I haven't really eaten anything for two days now--

"I had a feeling you're very hungry, so I told Choji and Kiba to just order the meats and necessities so that we can just eat immediately" Shikamaru says with a smile before stop for a bit infront of the very familiar  barbeque restaurant which we would always go when we were younger.

-3rd Person-

On the other side~

"Seriously though, it's been a while since we've had barbeque together- since we're always busy with our missions" A certain canined teenager says with a yawn as he grills the meat while Choji patiently waits for his teammate to arrive, a plate filled with hot piping grilled meat just for Shikamaru.

"Especially Shikamaru treating us, last time he did was when Mizuki was still with us. I guess I'll have to bring Mizuki every to get free food" Choji says while chewing on his chared grilled meat.

"I mean yeah, Shikamaru literally spend money for himself and literally just for Mizuki" Kiba says with an irk mark on his forhead while flipping the meat.

"I treat you guys for dinner for the first time in a while and then I arrive hearing your complaints" Shikamaru's voice suddenly pops out of no where behind Kiba, causing both two teenage boys to jump a little in surprise before giving Shikamaru and piece sign.

Mizuki then sneakily sat beside Choji, planning to just conceal her presence and eat all of Choji's barbeque until he notices it.

"Move over, Dog breath. I'm starving" Shikamaru says with a shrug bumping Kiba on the side to make him move over.

"Yeah yeah whatever" Kiba says with a groan before starting to eat again, not noticing Mizuki just across him.

"What made you suddenly call us and treat us dinner huh? You finally got Temari  to be yoyr girlfriend or something?" Kiba asks with a sneaker befire getting smacked on the back of his head by the Nara.

"Not interested"

"Did you get promoted to a Jounin or something? You dont usually treat us unless theres a special occasion or when Mizuki-chan is around" Choji says while trying to pick up a piece of meat on his plate, only to find out it was empty.

"Huh? Did I finish my food already?" He asks himself while observing his empty plate before shrugging and started grilling again, not noticing the happy red haired girl, happily swaying her head while eating the stolen meat happily.

Shikamaru couldn't help but smile at the look of her face then poured her a glass of water.

"No, I didn't get promoted-- why are yoy two so sus about it? Can't I just be a nice friend?" Shikamaru says with an eye roll while placing mire meat on Mizuki's plate, who's just silently enjoying the conpany.

"I meann- you don't-- you knoww, treat that muc-- I SWEAR WHO KEEPS STEALING MY MEAT?!" Choji finally screams out in frustration when he sees his plate that was once filled with  grilled meat, now empty.

"Dude, you've been eating them-- OI! SHIKAMARU DID YOU STEAL MY BARBEQUE?" Kiba screeches out when he noticed that he couldn't pick up anything from his empty plate.

Both Choji and Kiba couldn't help but glare at the amused Nara  when they notice that he was trying to hide his smile while avoiding their glares.

" M-my bad, I didn't really eat properly lately" Mizuki casually says while taking another bite.

"Oh, then you can take most of it then" Choji happily says, not noticing that it was his little sister who was talking.

Shikamaru couldnt help but sweatdrop at his childhood friend, who's LITERALLY giving more barbeque to someone who's been away for three years.

"Mhmm so how was your day, Mizuki?" Kiba asks casually while drink a glass of cold water, obviously nit noticing on what's happening.

"I-It's been nice, I met up with Shikamaru and Tsunade-sama" Mizuki replies eith a giggle, realizing that the two were still unaware about her presence.

"You met with Naruto yet? He came back around  a week ago" Choji says with a nod while slurping on the noodles that he ordered.

"N-not yet but I plan to surpruse him once he gets back from his m-mission"She says with a smile while continuing to eat.

And so...

The sun sets into a dark hue of Orange, with the group continuing to bond and Choji along with Kiba STILL not noticing that their little sister is back.

The whole barbecue dinner, Shikamaru lost almost all his braincells at the two oblivious idiots as he watch them casually talking to a person who's been gone for three whole years.

Shikamaru couldn't help but sigh and then stood up, signalling Mizuki that they should go home now. Saying their goodbyes to both Choji and Kiba.

"We'll see you guys tomorrow" Shikamaru says with a small wave before walking towards the exit of the barbecue place.

"Alright! Take care you two!" Kiba exclaims with a smile.

"B-byeee!"

"Bye Mizukii-chan!" Choji exclaims with a smile.

As the two left the restaurant, both Kiba and Choji smiled in silence before finally realizing something.

"...."

"....."

"....."

"MIZUKI?!?!?!?"

About the issue saying why the story already says comolete when it's still ongoing!
