“Ow come on!” Shane muttered for the umpteenth time. What the fuck was keeping Chris up there, he thought exasperatedly. Was he so pissed off at him that he’d decided to stay in the bedroom the whole fucking day? It had been over two hours since he’d left Chris in that bathroom. The breakfast Abigail had prepared for them was getting cold.

Shane finally went upstairs to check up on Chris. He’d also decided not to go to the office as Chris said he wanted to spend the day with him. Though he was angry at Chris for trying to force him to change his mind about therapy, he sure as hell wasn’t going to pass up an opportunity to spend a whole day with Chris.

When Shane stepped into his bedroom and found it empty, he frowned. Was Chris still… Shane’s eyes widened at the horrible image that flashed inside his mind. Oh shit! With his heart pounding, Shane barged into the bathroom to find Chris fast asleep in the Jacuzzi. Shane gave a huge sigh of relief, thanking his stars that Chris was alright. He grabbed a towel from the stack in the drawer and went to sit at the edge of the tub, looking at Chris. He looked so peaceful. Shane’s heart was still pounding in fear. Damn, he didn’t know what he would do if anything happened to Chris. He heard of accidents where people drowned in baths all the time. And taking into consideration the fact that Chris had been in there for over two hours, Shane knew he had every right to be scared. Suddenly, nothing mattered but seeing the smile and happiness on Chris’ face. He didn’t care what he had to do as long as it would make Chris happy. Chris wanted him to go back to Dr. Murray, right? Shane was going to do it even if it killed him. Anything for his Chris, Shane smiled. He reached out and ran his fingers through Chris’ hair. He’d allowed it to grow more than the military cut he’d spotted when they met again. Shane liked it this way as he loved running his fingers through the beautiful silky hair.

“Chris?” Shane called softly, not wanting to startle him.

Chris stirred and opened sleepy beautiful grey eyes, and then stared up at Shane. “Done sulking?” He asked softly, grinning at the shamed look of Shane’s face. “You okay?”

“I’m fine.” Shane said quietly.

“I’m sorry I pushed you.”

“You were right to. I have to get past my fear and humiliation and go back.” Shane gave a slight smile.

“Does that mean…”

“I’ll go.” Shane said softly. “Don’t give up on me, Chris.” Shane looked so defeated. “I’ll…”

“Come here.” Chris breathed.

And as Shane leaned down towards Chris, knowing Chris wanted to kiss him, Chris pulled him into the Jacuzzi with him, dry towel and all.

“Chris what…” But Chris’ mouth captured Shane’s, cutting off what he’d been about to say.

The kiss got hot and desperate. The two men quickly and hurriedly stripped Shane off his soaked sweat pants and t-shirt. By the time they got back downstairs, it was past midday and breakfast had been cleared off the table.

“Lunch is almost ready.” Abigail said with a knowing glint in her eyes. Damn, but she loved this side of her boss. The carefree, naughty side that Mr. Don had brought out, the cook couldn’t help but smile at herself happily. Who didn’t want a happy boss?

When Shane came out of Dr. Murray’s office the next day, Chris was waiting for him in the reception area, looking so dashing in his dark blue suit. Shane had taken longer with the good doctor, shocking the elderly man. He’d poured his heart out and felt so relieved. Somehow, knowing that Chris was close by, waiting for him at the reception, actually calmed him down. He watched as Chris got to his feet with a smile on his face, obviously happy since Shane taking so long in the doctor’s office only meant progress. But Shane watched as the smile slowly evaporated from Chris’ handsome face. Shane wasn’t surprised one bit. He remembered his parents and brother used to tease him whenever he cried as a kid. They said his eyes became so red, it was like his mum’s lipstick. He had obviously not changed even after going years without crying. Chris had obviously noticed his red eyes. Why the fuck couldn’t he keep the tears away whenever he was in Dr. Murray’s office? So far, he’d been in that office twice and both times, he’d cried, Shane thought, angry at himself.

Shane watched as Chris stalked over to where he stood with Dr. Murray, at the doctor’s door. The pretty receptionist and another woman, who didn’t look like she was there to see the doctor, turned their attention from the TV to watch Chris. Shane couldn’t help but think Chris looked like a hungry lion, stalking towards its prey. Shane instinctively took a step back. He would have taken another step but for the feel of the wall at his back.

“Chris…” Shane breathed just as Chris cupped the sides of his face in his surprisingly warm palms.

Chris leaned in till their noses rubbed against each other’s, then he slanted his mouth over Shane’s. Shane was expecting just a simple kiss and was therefore surprised when he felt Chris’ wet tongue trace his lower lip sensuously before begging for entry. Shane was so shocked, especially when he heard the gasps from the two women in the reception area, and a chuckle from the doctor standing beside him, he gasped. And that was all Chris needed.

Chris took advantage of Shane’s parted lips and allowed his tongue to slip inside Shane’s mouth. He felt the tension in Shane’s body. But immediately his tongue touched Shane’s a change came over Shane. Shane moaned and melted into the kiss. And what a kiss it was! Whilst Chris’ hands moved down to wrap around Shane’s waist, Shane’s move to Chris’ shoulders, and then move up into his hair, cradling the back of his head to hold him to the kiss.

When the clearing of throat finally penetrated their consciousness, Chris sucked Shane’s bottom lip into his mouth languorously before finally letting go. But his hands still remained loosely on Shane’s hips.

“You okay?” Chris murmured, looking into Shane’s unfocused eyes.

“How can you expect me to be after that?” Shane breathed.

“I was going to ask the same thing?” Dr. Murray chuckled. “You must be Chris.” He said and stuck his hand out for a handshake.

“Yes Doc.” Chris responded hoarsely, shaking the doctor’s hand. “Is…is he okay?” He asked, turning to look at Shane with worried eyes.

“Chris…” Shane groaned. He wasn’t a kid for fuck’s sake.

“He’s fine.” Dr. Murray said. “Can I see you next week Wednesday?”

Chris nodded. “Sure. What time?”

The doctor shrugged. “Whatever time will be okay for you. Your man booked me for the whole day because he said he didn’t know when you’d be free so…”

“When do you start work?” Chris asked, linking his fingers with Shane’s.

“Eight a.m.”

“I’ll be here at eight.” Chris couldn’t seem to keep his eyes off Shane. “Is that okay with you?” He turned to look at the doctor.

“It’s fine. See you then.” The doctor said and then turned to Shane. “See you tomorrow, Shane.”

“Yeah.” Shane sounded as though he’d swallowed a frog. He cleared his throat. “Yes, see you tomorrow.”

Immediately Shane and Chris got onto the elevator, Chris pulled Shane into a fierce hug. “Fuck, I hate it when you cry.” He growled.

“It’s good to cry sometimes.” Shane chuckled. “And you better stop kissing me in public, whenever you feel like it. It makes people uncomfortable.”

“Once it doesn’t make you uncomfortable, I don’t give a fuck about other people.” Chris husked. “In fact, if that bulge I felt in the doctor’s reception was any indication…”

“Oh God. Shut up,” Shane said, laughing as they exited the elevator.

“And you look hot as fuck in that Henley shirt.” Chris murmured huskily as they made their way across the wide foyer. “Trying to seduce your therapist?” Shane, in a white long-sleeved Henley shirt, blue jeans and combat boots, looked so sexy and gorgeous, Chris wasn’t surprised all eyes were on them as they made their way out of the building. Seriously, it should be criminal for a man to be that sexy, Chris thought, glaring at some of the people who looked at Shane.

Shane looked amused. “I’m not going to dignify that question with an answer.”

“Got something to hide?” Chris taunted, following Shane to his car.

Shane clicked his remote to open his car, but just as he opened his door, Chris pushed him against the door, closing it again. Shane didn’t turn around. He remained still, his body pressed between Chris’ and the car.

“Come to my office with me.” Chris murmured behind Shane’s ear, causing a shiver to flash through Shane. He moaned uncontrollably.

“Chris, you have work to do.” Shane groaned, relieved there was no one in the parking lot at that very moment.

“I can work better and faster if I have you in my sights.” Chris murmured, lightly biting Shane’s ear.

“Oh God.” Shane moaned, feeling himself getting hard. “My car…” His protests sounded weak even to his own ears.

“I’ll send someone to pick it up and take it home.” Chris husked, rubbing himself against Shane whilst sucking on his lobe.

“Chris, I don’t think this is a good idea.” Shane breathed, turning around to face Chris. Shane realized his mistake immediately, when their erections rubbed against each other’s. “Oh fuck…Chris this is…” Shane saw Chris’ eyes darken with arousal and suddenly, couldn’t think straight. “Come here…” He muttered huskily, gripping Chris’ nape to pull his face towards his. Then they were claiming each other’s lips with a wild hunger, right there in the parking lot.

“Fuck Shane.” Chris breathed harshly when he tore his mouth from Shane’s. “I’m not taking no for an answer. I won’t be able to concentrate if you’re not with me.”

“Really?” Shane chuckled shakily. “Dude, get real.”

“Lock the car, Shane.” Chris muttered and stepped away from Shane.

With a sigh, Shane locked the car and followed Chris to his. “You’re a piece of work, you know that?”

“Well, this ‘piece of work’ wants his boyfriend with him.” Chris said as he tore out of the lot.

Shane looked at Chris for a while and shook his head in amusement. “I like your tie by the way.” He murmured. “I think I wanna tie you up with it.” Those words sounded so sexy and hot coming from Shane, Chris swallowed audibly.

“Really?” Chris sounded hoarse. He turned to give Shane a quick glance. “You really want to tie me up?"

Shane’s eyes looked smoky and wicked as he nodded, making Chris shiver. “Damn straight.”

Chris gave a slight smile and turned back to look ahead. “Then let’s make that happen, my Black Stallion.” Chris’ voice took on that sexy, raspy quality, meant to seduce. And when he heard the moan that tore out of Shane’s throat, he knew he’d accomplished his goal.

In Chris’ plush executive office, he called his assigned chauffer, who he hardly used, to his office as he scribbled down Shane’s address, car number and Dr. Murray’s address on a piece of paper. “Max, please pick up this car…” He pointed to the car number on the piece of paper, “From this building’s parking lot six, and drive it to this address.”

“Consider it done Sir.” Max gave a slight nod.

“Thank you, Max.” Chris’ grinned at Shane as Max left to do as he’d been instructed.

“So…I’m here. What do you want me to do?” Shane asked, walking over to portable framed picture on Chris’ desk, which hadn’t been there the last time he’d been in Chris’ office.

It was a picture of Shane…which he didn’t remember taking. But he did remember the day Chris must have taken it because of what he was wearing. Shane was wearing a sexy black, short-sleeved t-shirt, with navy blue stand collar, which fit his body like a second skin. He remembered he had on a black jeans but that wasn’t showing as Chris had taken a portrait and not a full shot. And he remembered Chris going on and on about how hot he looked, and how Chris had fucked him later in the pool, with him still wearing that top. Chris had some wacky fantasies and that had been a damn good one, Shane smiled, remembering. That had been about two months earlier. Shane turned his head to look at Chris, who shrugged.

“You looked totally hot.” Chris murmured, staring at the picture. The guy took swag to another level and it just made Chris drool. “I had to get something to wank off to when I’m in the office.” He added with mock seriousness.

“Yeah right.” Shane laughed. “As if you’ll get the time to do that in this gladiator arena. You work too hard.” Shane sighed, dropping into one of the visitors’ chairs.

“Not as hard as I used to.” Chris countered. “Since…us, I’ve taken it easy. And you’re a fine one to talk. That empire of yours doesn’t run itself does it?”

“Touché.” But you will agree with me, I don’t…” Shane trailed off when there was a knock on the door.

Chris clicked on the button on his desk to open the door for whoever it was. He knew it was someone close to him as his secretary hadn’t announced the person. Chris grinned when Aaron entered.

“Shane…” Aaron exclaimed. “I thought as much. The ladies are creaming their panties, talking about the hot, drop dead gorgeous hunk that came in with Mr. Donovan.” He hugged Shane who’d gotten up and met him halfway in Chris’ huge office.

“Really?” Shane laughed. “Looks like they don’t want to keep their jobs. What with jealous monster owners and all…” He murmured with a teasing glint in his eyes.

“I heard that.” Chris growled.

“You were meant to.” Shane retorted, dissolving into laughter with Aaron.

Whilst Aaron talked with Shane, Chris quickly signed the important cheques which had been waiting on his desk and made some calls. By the time he was done with the calls, Aaron had left. Chris studied Shane as he looked at a particular displayed painting, which Aaron always made fun of. Shane had a slight smile on his face and Chris just knew Aaron must have said something silly about the painting to Shane.

“Know why I like him so much?” Chris asked, pulling Shane’s attention from the painting.

“Like who?”

“Aaron.”

“You mean there’s another reason besides the guy being so damn handsome?” Shane grinned. “Tell me.”

Chris laughed. “I know he is. But that’s not why I like him.” Chris shook his head slowly. “The first day I saw him, I said some really mean things to him.”

“Oh boy.” Shane breathed. “I know you being mean, can be lethal.” Shane drawled, watching as Chris winced. “Sorry. Go on.”

“I deserved that.” Chris said quietly. “But that day, Aaron put me in my place. I…he reminded me so much of you.”

“I never put you in your place.” Shane said.

“It’s not that. It was because of his background…”

“He was poor.” It wasn’t a question.

Chris shrugged. “Not poor. Just getting by. I can’t really explain it but I felt like he was my responsibility. And I’ve been looking out for him ever since.”

Shane nodded. “He’s a smart young man. Very intelligent.” Shane said, remembering his talk with Aaron that day in Damon’s house. Aaron had impressed him with his intelligence.

Shane understood Chris even better than Chris himself. He wasn’t surprised Aaron had reminded Chris of him. Maybe it was because Aaron had been underprivileged just like Shane, maybe it had been because he’d had only his mother, just like Shane…it could have been a number of reasons. But he obviously had a lot in common with Aaron. When they were kids, Chris had always looked out for him…felt like Shane was his responsibility though they were the same age. And he’d done a great job too till… Shane shook his head. He didn’t want to think about it.

“Hey.” Chris grinned at Shane. “Bored?”

“Nope. I love watching you work. Done with your calls?”

Chris nodded. “Will handle a few e-mails, then we can get outta here.”

“Take your time.” Shane said, moving to look at the beautiful view of the city through the floor-length windows. Chris’ office had windows on two exterior walls, showing a breathtakingly spectacular view of the city. “Your office is huge. And I love the view.”

“Hmm… Sometimes I just look at the view when I need to think or I’m stressed. It helps.” Chris said from behind his desk.

Shane smiled at that. With that kind of view, he wasn’t surprised watching it could help Chris think or relax. Wouldn’t it be even better if Chris could get off whilst taking in that beautiful view, Shane surprised himself by thinking. Where the fuck had that come from, he asked himself. He knew that depending on the type of glass used, one may or may not be seen by someone from another building. An idea started forming in Shane’s mind. He knew it was naughty but the more he thought about it, the more he wanted to try it. He turned around to look at Chris, who was busy behind his computer. He did tell him to allow him to go home, right? He could therefore not be held responsible for his actions, Shane thought with a naughty smile as he started towards Chris. He wished he could say something like…Somebody Stop Me!
