A/N: Hello to everyone who clicked in this story! So I recently watched this movie, A World To Come and really liked it (despite being sad) and so aa usual, I decided to write about the two main characters in the movie, Tallie and Abigail, but decided that I wanted this fanfiction to be in set in a modern time instead of the 1800s, like in the film.

You don't have to have seen the movie to enjoy this fanfic, as it doesn't follow the movie plot at all except for Tallie and Abigail's relationship. However that's about the only thing from the movie that's the same. Everything else is completely different.
