When I woke up, I went into the kitchen. Where Tyler was of course. He smirked at me, and wiggled his eyebrows.

"You have fun last night?" He chuckled. I rolled my eyes and laughed. "I did. How'd you sleep?"

"Oh, I didn't. How could I?" He teased, rubbing his eyes.

"Sorry about that Lockwood. Well, actually that's a lie. I'm not sorry at all." Kai smirked, as he walked into the room, and put his arm around me and kissed my cheek. Tyler rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Yeah, I didn't expect you to be. But hey, at least someone's getting action in this house."

Kai smirked. "You know, if you'd just tell Bayley that you're into her, you could be having some action too." He teased. Tyler scoffed. "Eh, maybe. Speaking of which, we should probably get to the pack. They'll be waiting for us."

"Yeah, let's go."

When we arrived. I saw something that made me beyond angry.

Paul, scolding Bayley and Trent. For who knows what? He kicked Trent in the stomach, and Bayley fought back, hating the way her brother was being treated. And, when she did, Paul, slashed her face with his claws, and she fell to the ground grabbing her wounds.

"Stop!"

I yelled as I ran over as fast as I could. Tyler helped Bayley, as I went face to face with Paul. He wore the most smug look on his face, and without hesitation, I punched it off, as my eyes started to glow red.

I didn't stop there, I continued to beat his face bloody. Other wolves, like Seth, attempted to help Paul, but I growled at them, making them back off. Finally, I left Paul to lay there, like the pathetic person he was.

I smirked, at the pack and popped my neck.

"As you all know, my name, is Absinthe. And I, am an alpha. The only alpha here actually. And for a long time now, your leader, Paul, has just used me, and kept me around, to make sure other packs, didn't bother you. Well, no more. I'm the alpha, which means I'm in charge. I am your ruler. And you listen to me. And if anyone has a problem with that, you may join your friend on the ground." I stated.

Nobody said anything, or did anything.

"About time we had a fearless leader! All hail Absinthe!" Harper exclaimed cheerfully, as Caden just nodded and smiled.

I smirked. "Good." Then I knelt down and grabbed Paul's face. "And if you ever challenge, another beta again, I will remind you, that you are an equal here, with everyone, except me. Do you understand?"

He clenched his bloody jaw, and nodded, then I let him fall back to the ground.

"Good, we're all on the same page." I smiled, before dusting myself off, and walking off.

Then, Seth and another one of the werewolves acquainted with Paul, went to his aid. And stared at me in disgust and anger, as I walked away.

Kai chuckled. "That was so hot." Tyler nodded in agreement, and Kai punched his shoulder. "Don't agree with me on that Lockwood." He replied, earning an eye roll from the hybrid.

"Whatever Parker."
