Amy's P.O.V

"Yes this is Amy Roses room!" The nurse said letting a tall figure with pointy quills. As soon as he step into the light it was no other than Sonic. "Well I can't believe it!!" Tails said. "Look who showed up." Knuckles said. I frowned holding my baby close. "I'm not here for drama... I want to make peace before I go.." He said. I'd noticed some of his quills were shorter or gone. "Where are you going exactly.." I asked. "A place I hope to reach high in the heavens.." His voice spoke with purpose and wisdom. In a way as if time had passed. Sonic looked older as if he lost his youth and his voice was deeper. "What is that supposed to mean?" I said with a grim look upon my face.

He gave a small smile. "Ames.. The old nickname I've given you since childhood. I'm dying of cancer..." He said as another piece of his quills fell. "S-Sonic..." Tears stirred in my eyes. Everyone was struck with grief. "Don't be sad.. I pray that I go into a more peaceful world and watch over all my old friends.." He said as he kept his head up high. "I'm sorry Sonic I never meant to be so mean..." I said with tears flowing down my checks and not happy ones. "Please Ames don't be sad we had our ups and downs.. Now I have come to make peace with all of you. So I myself can pass on knowing all of you will remember me as your friend and hero sonic." He shook hands with everyone is in the room. He received hugs and promises of his funeral.

Then their was me holding my new born waiting as he approached me in my hospital bed. "I will miss you the most Ames.." He wiped my tears. "What's her name..." He asked looking at Maria. "Maria.. Her name is Maria.." I said and she's had Fallon asleep. "May I hold her?" He said as I give Maria to him. "Yes." "She's a beautiful little girl and what a beautiful name." He said. "Thanks you.. I've always envied you... Faker.." Shadow said with a smirk. Sonic couldn't help but laugh and neither could I. "Thanks Shads!" For the first time I saw the two hug showing brotherly love. Why couldn't it be like this before.. I did I have to be so cruel... I felt as if it had been my fault. Maybe if I'd been with him as a friend the outcome would have been different.
