"We must settle this. We cannot be allies. What is the solution?"

A light grey she-cat addressed those around her. They stopped their fighting, many covered in blood. In total, there were thirteen bodies in the area. One was not breathing. The other twelve were.

"The solution?!" A rumbly laugh arose from the cats. A bulky tom near the back of the small crowd padded forward. His golden eyes were fierce. "There is no solution. We will all die."

Another she-cat, this one a dusty brown, stood forward. "No. StarClan would not approve of this. It must end." Turning to the grey she-cat, she added. "Libra, I stand with you."

Libra nodded. "I thank you, Gemini," she told the dusty cat, inviting her to stand beside her. "If any other cat agrees with me, stand now." One by one, the cats that were gathered rose to their feet. Each one agreed, and took their place beside Libra. She turned to the bulky tom. He was standing alone, in disbelief. "Aries, would you like to join us?" She asked him, trying her best to stay kind.

Aries laughed once more. "I refuse to be near you.. You pieces of fox-dung!" He growled. "You live by your rules, and I will live by my own." Libra nodded again, stiffly.

"You may leave, then, Aries. Goodbye."

The tom trudged out of the valley. The others watched him leave. He did not say goodbye to them.

Libra craned her head and looked at every single cat that was left. She attempted to stay composed. "We will all choose our own territory. Create our own clans. We will not allow another cat to do this again. Any cats from your clan stay there." Everyone nodded in understanding. "What's more," Libra continued. "Your only friends will come from your clan.

"That also goes for those who fall in love."
