Lance woke up three hours later in Shadow's den.

He was lying down in Shadow's bed.

Shadow was sitting by Lance. His mismatched eyes showed concern.

"Shadow!" Lance gasped. "Look at yourself!"

Shadow obeyed, looking at his paws. One was a purple Espeon paw and the other a black yellow- ringed Umbreon paw.

Then, Shadow noticed he also had a Espeon tail as well as an Umbreon one.

(Espbreons are half Espeon and Umbreon split right down the middle.)

"No! It can't be!" Shadow yelped.

Lance nodded solemnly. "Yep. You're an Espbreon." He whispered.

"Do you know how to fix this?" Shadow asked.

"I do, actually." Lance told Shadow.

"How?" Shadow asked eagerly.

"Come with me and I'll show you," Lance answered.

Lance went out the door and Shadow followed eagerly.
