Outside of time: In the dark room

Well, then the whole mess began. I turned 56 years old. Returned to 2019 and got stuck in my 16-year-old body. I must have miscalculated too, just like Five and Yes. The end of the world was coming. Three times as well." Two began to narrate.

"The beginning really is very similar to my story," remarked Five. "Yup, I agree." confirmed Two. "This is getting crazier and crazier." said Sam. "You're right, brother." Luna agreed with her twin. "You don't say." Two sighed. "I guess that's not all, either." grinned Five in a teasing tone. Two imagined Five's grin. "Yes, you're right." Two grinned into the darkness from which she suspected Five's voice. "Go on then. We're curious," said Five with interest.

On November 25, 1963. In the past had awaited us. Fortunately, we managed to prevent it. But there were consequences, and it also triggered the grandfather paradox. We thought we had jumped back to the right time, to April 2, 2019. But it wasn't the Lightning Academy that awaited us there, but the Thunder Academy. In this second timeline, the Bullet Lightning, which was responsible for the third end of the world, was also waiting for us. In the end, Emily Evergreeves, the adoptive mother of me and my siblings from Lightning Academy and Thunder Academy, had also drained our powers. She also charged a strange machine with it and also reset the world. We were then transferred to the third timeline. Then I was also abducted by Nora's adopted children. Learned that outside of time, my body took on the appearance of a 20-year-old and yes. Here I am now." Two told a very similar story to Five's. But Two was also aware of leaving out some very interesting details that she preferred to keep to herself.

Everyone had been listening, spellbound. "Wait a minute, wait a minute! Am I crazy or something?" asked Sam, a little uncomprehendingly. "That's really a bit creepy that you two had a similar story." Luna stuttered a little. "Yes, that's really crazy." confirmed Two. "But also extremely strange," muttered Five to himself. "I'd like to hear your story now." Two spoke to the twins. "I'm interested in your story too," agreed Five. "Well, our story is a bit different." Sam began. "Let's hear it!", Two said a little impatiently.

... "So, our story begins in the year 2005. Where we were sixteen years old. On October 01." Luna began the story.

... "It started with young people disappearing all over the world. There were eleven in total. In reality, these eleven youngsters were abducted. Luna and me were among these eleven children who were born on October 01. 1989 were born. All eleven abductees had that in common. The kidnappers were after the powers of all of us. There was another twelfth that nobody knew about. We twelve all got together and managed to escape and get the kidnappers thrown in prison after a year." Sam told ...

"Your story really is totally different," said Five. "I have a feeling that that wasn't all." assumed Two. "That really wasn't all." confirmed Luna. "Sis, you go on." Sam asked Luna. Two and Five pricked up their ears eagerly.

... "So. After the kidnappers were put behind bars, there was peace for 14 years. During those 14 years, the 12 of us formed a group of superheroes. That also went down well with people. We did good things with our powers. But in the year 2019, all the chaos began. Callan Blake broke out of prison and his minions followed him. He continued to pursue his plans to seize world domination, and he wanted revenge on us twelve. The 12 of us fought together against him and his minions, but it ended in the end of the world." Luna continued. ...

... "At the end, the twelve of us all held hands and stood in a circle. We concentrated on our powers. The shadow powers of Luna and the light powers of me combined and neutralized each other. Then we were swallowed up by a bright, dazzling light. Suddenly we were scattered all over Munich." Sam continued ...

... "That too in the past. On November 25, 1963. We tried the same thing again to return. But we found a completely different reality. We met a Callan Blake who was totally different on it. Suddenly a ball of lightning appeared and the end of the world was imminent. But Callan Blake also ended up draining our powers with a strange machine. Now we're back in a new reality. We were also dragged here by the One Classics." Luna concluded the events.

"That's very strange. They were all different stories. But did you notice anything?" asked Two of the group. "No," answered Luna and Sam at the same time, without batting an eyelid. But Five thought carefully. "The end effect is the same." came out of Five as if shot from a pistol. "Exactly!", confirmed Two Five's reply. "But the question is. What is Nora planning to do with all of us?" asked Five aloud. "I'm asking myself the same thing." agreed Two, Five.

Suddenly, someone clapped their hands. All four of them startled and looked around. But they couldn't see anything in the dark. "Who's there?" asked Two suspiciously. "Come on! Show yourself!" Sam shouted, ready to fight. "Stupid, it's dark. How is the person supposed to show themselves when they're standing right next to us?" Luna noted the fact. "Still, the person can say who they are," replied Five.

"Great, you've found out a lot. That was also part of the plan. Now I would like to take you one step further so that the plan can be completed." Nora's voice rang out. "Wait, What!" all four shouted as if from the same mouth. Nora pulled a lever and suddenly the room became glaringly bright. The fog also slowly began to clear.

Two, Five, Luna and Sam were blinded by the bright light and had to squint their eyes. "Congratulations time jumpers. You have just received another piece of the puzzle, which brings you closer to your goal. You may leave the room now. You are expected in the dining room." a robotic voice sounded at the same time. The door opened and without hesitation, all four of them ran out of the room ...

Flashback. In another world

Three women stood in a room that looked like a laboratory. Their names were: Nora Soraya, Emily Evergreeves, and Abigail Hargreeves. Each stood at a different table, experimenting with different liquids, chemicals, and their own blood.

"Thanks again, Nora, for letting us use your lab for this project." Emily thanked her again. "I agree with Emily. I'm very grateful, too." Abigail agreed. "Oh, nothing to be grateful for. As long as you compensate me for any damage that occurs, or you always clean up after yourselves. That's fine." Nora replied, amused. Emily and Abigail joined in the laughter.

After a while of renewed silence and the only sound of tools. "I've got a breakthrough, girls!", Abigail exclaimed excitedly. "Really? Show me!" Emily replied excitedly. Nora and Emily came to Abigail's work table excitedly. "Let me see. We're excited." Nora replied. "Look at that!" Abigail repeated to herself excitedly. Abigail pointed to her result of the project. "Congratulations." Nora grinned. "What is that exactly?", Emily asked curiously.

Nora's grin grew even wider. "You know what that is. Or Nora?" Emily guessed. "Indeed she does. But does Abigail know? I'd love to hear the answer from her." Nora replied with a mysterious smile. "This is Marigold and this is Durango. Two opposites of the universe." Abigail answered the question. "That's right. Because when the two opposites combine. A reaction arises that is uncontrollable." Nora added in a whisper. Emily held her breath for a moment.

After that, Emily and Nora went back to their own places to continue with their own projects. Emily was the next to make a breakthrough. "Girls, now I've got a breakthrough too!", Emily exclaimed excitedly. "Let me see. What have you got there?" Nora asked curiously. Abigail also came to Emily's desk, curious. "What's that now?", Abigail asked curiously. "Tell me what you've created, dear Emily," Nora said with a knowing grin.

"So, this is Melodya and this is Silenzio. These are also two opposites of the universe." Emily explained with sparkling eyes. "Oh yes, this combination can also become uncontrollable when they combine." Nora added. The Three looked in awe at the purple, blue dust particles.

But Nora didn't show what she had achieved. She hid everything behind a mysterious smile. What Nora had created was far more powerful than what Abigail and Emily had produced. It was Silver and Turquoise Particles. These two opposites were called Immortalitas and Statera.

Nora quickly hid her project and tidied up her workspace. Abigail and Emily also began to tidy up their desks ... Flashback end.

Out of time

Two, Five, and the twins ran blindly through the corridors. They hadn't even thought about which direction they should run in. They just wanted to get out of the room really quickly. "Do any of you actually know which way to go?" asked Sam cluelessly. "No! No idea!" shouted Luna to her twin brother. "How can we be so stupid and not think?" Five was annoyed. "Instead of blaming ourselves now, we'd better find a way out of here!" shouted Two to the three of them.

"Two is right!", suddenly, said a voice that was very identical to Two's. "Not you again!", Two called out to her Double Version. "Oh yes, I am," replied Laura, who jumped out of a mirror. "What are you up to?", Two asked, addressing Laura. "Oh, I'll give you a hint. You know our power." Laura grinned dangerously. "No! You're not!" exclaimed Two in horror. "Oh yes, I will. That's exactly what I'm going to do," Laura replied, grinning like a predator.

"Run!", shouted Five. The twins didn't need to be told twice and immediately ran down the corridor. "That won't do us any good!" shouted Two. "My other self is right." confirmed Laura. "No! Be careful! Watch out! ..." That was the only thing Two could shout. Laura snapped her fingers and the next moment there was complete silence.

Five, Luna and Sam stood there like stone sculptures. Laura had frozen the three of them. The only one Laura hadn't frozen was Two. "Why did you do that?", asked Two. "Think carefully. You should know better than that." Laura replied. Two began to think. Then her face brightened. "That's right. You're right." Two replied slowly.

(Laura and Two were one and the same person, but from different parallel timelines. All Laura's or Two's can't actually use the same powers on other I's of themselves. That's because it cancels each other out. It just doesn't work. But since Two has lost her powers to a machine, Laura could use her powers on Two. But Laura just won't do it. It's like an unspoken promise.)

"I won't freeze you, you can walk straight on, you'll meet your siblings on the way. You're the first team we're helping to get everything in order." Laura revealed a small part. "I see, I see. Okay, let's go then!" said Two hopefully and continued running down the corridor. "Okay, now for the next part of the plan," Laura muttered to herself. ...
