Question: Do you prefer AoT or Pokemon? (Writing and reading/watching) (Asked by willfu14855)

This is the worst question anyone has asked me. Worst as in I have no idea how to answer this. IfeelsotornIlovebothsomuch.

I guess I prefer writing Pokemon?? Even though honestly I don't plan on writing much more Pokemon things after Why Do I Love You? and start focusing more on AoT. But it's just so much easier to come up with good, original stories with Pokemon. Like you can be a gym leader, breeder, trainer, Champion, villain, secret agent, Pokemon Ranger, even a Pokemon, and the chances of your story being exactly like someone else's will be slim. There's 6 generations, so many characters, and so many opportunities for entertaining stories. Meanwhile I've noticed a lot of...not so great AoT stories, because it's so hard to make a story original and interesting. I mean, sure, there's three military branches, but who wants to read about someone in the Garrison? "Hello yes I'm Umber and I joined the Garrison so I could spit and piss off the top of the wall." No. I feel like it's required to join the Survey Corps for something interesting. (Oh god don't get me started on all these stories with characters with unbelievable demon powers or something just please no. You can pull that off in Pokemon at least).

Watching. I like AoT a lot more than the Pokemon anime, hands down. Most of you should already know I don't really like the Pokemon anime, nor do I like Ash. I'll watch the movies, but that's about it. And the animation in AoT is beautiful, ugh I need my second season.

Reading. Um, well stories with original characters I prefer Pokemon. Canon characters only either is alright. Manga, I have no idea. I just. Fucking. I have no idea I mean they both have a really good plot(s) and I mean PokeSpe is pretty original for each version. Like, ok, one trainer, one trainer into gym leader, a breeder, a catcher, thieves, so on. Like how many of those kids have gone across the region just for gym badges? 3, out of the arcs I've read. Red, Green, and Sapphire. But AoT has such unique characters, like I don't actually hate anyone?? And that never happens?? And you never know who's gonna die next (unless if it's Eren. He gets away with everything) which is just wonderful (I don't know if you've noticed my enjoyment with killing off characters). And all the plot twists are nice.

I'm not going to be able to flat out tell you which is better. I mean one has Silver and one has Levi and those two are going to be the end of me.
