Baylor's POV

Exiting the gym I ran down the path outside the school and jogged down the sidewalk until I reached my house. I was gasping for air and my lungs started burning. It gave way to a tingling sensation and I did a 180.

No one was there but the trees seemed to bristle so I booked it to the front door. When I got there I slammed the wooden door shut and it let go with a faint click. I slipped the lock into place and breathed heavily while leaning against the door. My line felt like they were on fire and my veins felt like they were going to pop out of my skin.

When I finally calmed down my breathing I felt shuffling inside of the house. I froze and tensed up turning around and grabbed a lamp that was behind me. I walked slowly walked towards the kitchen. I made sure bit the step on any of the creepy floorboards. When I finally round the narrow passageway I peered over the door frame. When I looked over I saw a hooded figure by my door. I shrieked in fright and I couldn't see the figures face but a wicked smirk covered his face before he ran out of the house. I heard an ear piercing scream and only then did I realize that it was coming from me, so I covered my mouth with my hand.

I sunk down on my knees and then I did the one thing I knew what to do. I screamed, and screamed and screamed. When I finally stopped I wiped up the tears that were streaming down my face. It was probably just some prank, I reprimanded myself.

They used to do it all the time and even went to extreme measures so I knew that this wasn't going to turn into anything else, right? I mean it was a stupid harmless prank. I breathed in and out deeply. The boys did this a lot. That's when I realized that the boys did this. I told Reid that I would trust him! How could he! After I'd let him even get a shred of me, you know what he wasn't worth it. I was done with him.

I am not going to ever get away with that, why would he ever do something like that to me?

Because I'm Um.

The last hour I had been pacing my bedroom deciding on what I should do with the while Reid and Lance situation. What if it was just Lance? There was only one person. What if Reid was just playing me the whole time? What if-

Cutting my thoughts out I let out a garbled scream and thrashed around hitting the corner on my desk. I cried out even more and just screamed so much my throat turned raw. My legs then decided that it was a prefect time for me to collapse from physical exhaustion. Wow, thanks legs. Trying to get up again I braced myself on my elbows and hands then stood up straight. My body made my decisions for me as I turned and walked out of my small bedroom. My footsteps echoed the ought the small house as I marched out of the door.

The door rattled on its hinges from where I had slammed it but I just kept walking down the driveway, which was very slippery. The rain had started pouring while I was heading to god knows where. Wait I do know. I was heading straight towards Reid's house at a full pace. My eyes were ablaze when I looked into a passing car window, I probably looked like an axe murderer. Who knows I might murder Reid when I get there.

I knew that was a bit harsh but I had every right to be harsh towards him, he almost broke me. I was going to hurt him as much as he hurt me. I don't know why I had ever though to give him a second chance, maybe someone had slipped something into my drink when I wasn't looking.

"Baylor?" I heard a voice ask.

I hadn't even realized that I had reached Reid's house until I saw him standing there all groggily like he had just come from a nap. He was napping while I was pacing back in forth in my room like a nutcase? I got even more enraged and Reid looked somewhat frightened at my state of being. "Baylor what happened?" He asked slowly in a comforting manor.

"What happened?" I seethed through gritted teeth, "What happened was you came to my house and scared the hell out of me and then took a nap!"

He furrowed his eyebrows, something I came to know as when he was confused. "I got here and I never left the house," he stated.

"Stop being such a liar!" I yelled at him my temper rising.

"Who are wou?" A small voice asked.

My eyes widened when I looked at the small toddler hanging onto Reid's pant leg, there was actually a bit of resemblance in them except that Reid's skin was a shade lighter then the small boys. "As I was saying," Reid said softly and reached out to me, "I was babysitting Stefan this whole time."

"Then who came into my house looking like a murderer before running out the door like a mad man?" I questioned with a hard tone.

He looked upset that I didn't trust him but then he looked upset for a whole different reason, "Dammit."

He turned to Stefan, "Go to your room, aunt and uncle will be here soon."

Stefan pouted but Reid gave him a stern look and the young boy huffed while crossing his arms and grouchily went upstairs. Reid looked up at the stairs and made sure that Stefan wasn't there before ushering me outside and shutting the door. "What the hell happened?" He asked not waisting a second.

"Well I got home and this guy was standing there and then stuff happened and he ran," I said uncomfortably.

I had lost all of my confidence a while ago and I had taken on my old self. I mean I don't even know which is the real me anymore, the new one or the old one. I guess a mix of both Is nice though.

"Okay. Bay I need you to come into the house with me," he stated as he looked around his house.

"Why?" I asked, not missing the fact that he had said my nickname.

"Someone's watching us."

Reid's POV

When I had heard her confession I thought I heard something and I saw something weird in the bushes, I didn't want to freak Baylor out though. That would have resulted in me and other harmless things getting injured so I timidly got her to come into the house. Thankfully she got in and I locked the doors before I could even think about what I was doing. My heartbeat was elevated and I'll admit that I was scared. Not out loud though. That would just be like me handing in my man card and walking into a perfume shop.

Not going to happen.

Baylor was seated on the couch that was beside the television, she was looking for something and shaking her head back and forth in frustration. She was muttering something rapidly under her breath and suddenly she let out a cry of triumph. She pumped her hand up and let out a smile before holding the remote like it was a prized possession. I shook my head at her antics and bopped her nose. Her response was to shrivel her nose in an adorable gesture.

I already knew this girl had me on a leash so there was no point in hiding it. She then looked back to the television and turned it on while channel surfing. I could barely see her face but the TV would occasionally light up and I could see her dark black almost red hair. I smiled and then realized that she hadn't given me the list yet. So how the hell am I suppose to prove to her that I'm worth it to fight for.

"Um, Baylor," I said while being nervous but she took this as me calling her by her old nickname.

I shook my head, "Sorry Baylor I was just nervous and I said um. I was just wondering when you were going to give me the list."

Out of the corner of my eye I could see a faint smile tugging at the edge of her lips, "Haven't made it yet."

My jaw dropped before I composed myself and looked at her in shook, "What do you mean you didn't make it yet?"

She looked over at me in pure amusement at my rage.

"Well," she coughed still looking amused, "Kind of hard to do when someone broke into my house and scared me to death."

My eyes widened in realization.

"Oh."

AHHH REIDS POV IT WAS JUST A SNIPPET BUT I HOPED YOU LIKED IT CAUSE IT WAS LONGER.
