Baylor's POV

It was still fresh in my mind. It would never leave my mind for as long as I would live.

~flashback~

Ryder had snuck me out of the Shed just like he had said he would. When we were halfway there Xavier came and he started trying to hit Ryder but it didn't work and Ryder won the fight easily. He had tied Xavier up into a chair but it wasn't strong enough apparently. Adele had ran out looking wild. She had a revolver in her hand and she barely aimed in the dark. She fired two shots towards me but Ryder stepped in front of me at the second shot.

Xavier was cursing so much until he got our of the hair and grabbed the gun from Adele where she just let him. Ryder had falls down onto the ground and I was trying frantically to help him in someway but he had blood seeping around his stomach area. When I heard a gun shot I looked and just saw Adele's figure falling to the ground. Then Xavier took the gun and looked at me with a wicked smile, "No one wins. No one will ever win."

The last bang went off and a shot of light burst through the area until it was dark.

~flashback over~

I was currently in the hospital in a bed, the first shot that was meant for my heart got my shoulder then Ryder took one for me. Ryder was in surgery and I couldn't possibly go to sleep no matter what they told me to do. Finally a nurse who looked quite friendly walked into my room, and without talking she took some medicine and put it in my IV.

I was screaming at her but she wouldn't listen and I suddenly felt very dizzy and tired. My eyes closed on their own accord and all that I saw was black.

"Let me see her!" A voice yelled, "Let me see her you fuckers!"

My eyes were still glued shut but I was trying so hard to open them. Come on, you need to do this. Think of Ryder you need to see if he's okay. Suddenly and after a long time my eyes snapped open. The yelling was still there. Groggily I rubbed my eyes with my uninjured arm.

"Reid?" I croaked out.

All the noises stopped and then it sounded like an army was coming towards me, the first thing I felt was someone tentatively grabbing my sore arm.

"Balbina," a voice sounded.

"Daddy?" I Asked not believing my eyes.

"It's me honey. I'm home," he said and pulled me into a hug, "I'm so sorry I didn't help you. But I'm here now."

There were suddenly more footsteps and Wiley and Lance entered the room with grams hot on they're tails. "Oh god Bay!" Grams shouted and pushed my dad away from me, with enough force to knock him over and hugged me.

"I missed you grams," I stated sadly.

For the first time in my life I saw my grandma cry, actually cry and it brought me to tears. "Where's Reid?" I asked after a moment of us all being quiet.

Lance sighed, "Probably punching a wall or a doctor."

"What?" I asked perplexed.

Wiley rubbed a hand on her face, "When the doctors told him he couldn't see you he went on a rage."

"Reid rage," I muttered under my breath.

Dad heard it though and he semi smiled before he stood up, "I'm going to get the boy."

"Yes hulk, get the boy," I said in a low raspy voice.

He shook his head and muttered something under his breath that I didn't catch at all. In a second he was out of the doors and I looked a Wiley, "How's Ryder?"

She looked down brokenly, " He's in surgery, until it's over we won't know what will happen."

Nodding slightly I brushed away the stray tears that were forming around my eyes. I always hated hospitals for that reason, it always brought tears to my eyes. I visited my mom a lot here while she was getting treated for her cancer.

Ryder was my Bestfriend and I didn't know what I would do without him if I lost him. I think of loose myself and I really don't want that to happen to me again.

Suddenly the door burst open and almost knocked a whole in the wall. Reid stood there breathing hard. Grams, Wiley and Lance all left and Wiley gave me a small smirk and a wink.

"Hey," I finally killed the silence as he closed the door.

I heard him step closer and I watched him with every step. He slowly leaned forward and just held my hand, like it would soon disappear.

"I'm so sorry," he stated, "If I would have stayed with you I could have stopped him from taken you-"

"It wouldn't have helped he would have planned it out so you weren't there," I interrupted.

"Well I didn't have to hurt you!" He exclaimed and hit himself on the forehead and closed his eyes, "I never wanted to hurt you. I was an asshole and I treated you so bad for so long and I will never be able to make it up to you but will you forgive me?"

I looked at him sadly, "I don't know Reid, I mean you hurt me pretty bad."

He looked down at his shoes in defeat so I grabbed his chin with my uninjured arm and smiled slightly, only the corners twitching up.

"You need to finish number twenty on this list still," I explained.

He smirked as he remembered all of the things I made him do on that list, "And what's number twenty?"

He leaned in closer to me and our lips were almost touching. "Fall in love with me," I breathed against his lips.

"Already have," he spoke as he connected our lips together.
