Oh no Prt 1

Reid's POV

After Ryder had told me that she was broken it felt like something inside of me cracked. I broke her. There was always something inside of me that knew but I had only thought that I had hurt her, not broke her.

"W-what do you mean?" I asked Ryder.

He looked at me like I was stupid, "You. broke. her."

His emphasized points didn't help me in any way as I scrubbed furiously at the floor. When Baylor came back down with a stack of blankets and pillows that were bigger then her Ryder immediately went to help her. I couldn't do that anymore though.

A small pang sounded throughout my chest but I shook it off. She couldn't get hurt. I helped Ryder spread out the blankets though, I wasn't completely useless. My phone beeped and I suddenly grew anxious. Taking out my phone it was just a text from my mom wondering where I was. Typing a quick reply I slide my phone back into my pocket to help pick the movie.

My phone buzzed again and I was expecting it to be my mom but it wasn't.

You didn't leave her alone so now I won't.

My stomach dropped and my fists clenched. One kiss. That was all it took to put her endanger. One kiss and she could be dead. My blood ran cold at the thought. I needed to get away from here, pushing myself out the door I sprinted for my house not even turning back.

When I got to the safety of my room I called one person who I wanted to kill at the moment, Xavier.

"Hello Reid. Long time no call," he said and I could sense his wicked grin from the other side of the phone.

"Why do you want her?" I spat into the device.

"Because she's weak. And she looks exactly like her," he spoke in a sickly sweet tone.

Once upon a time me and Xavier actually got along, that was until his girlfriend died of cancer and he stopped taking his meds.

"Please don't hurt her," I pleaded.

He chuckled darkly into the phone. "Can't make that promise," he said then hung up on me.

I took a long and shaky breath of air, my phone was still clasped in my hands. Once I realized this I chucked it at a wall blindly.

Xavier wasn't at school, he wasn't anywhere. No one knew where he was but he was safe. The police were everywhere. So he couldn't leave. That meant that someone had to put those notes on Baylor's door.

But who?

Baylor's POV

When I went back into the living room Ryder was the only one who was standing there, and he looked pissed. I sighed slightly, "What happened?"

"I talked to him and he ran out the door," he shrugged but it was forced.

"Who knows why," I started, "But I want to watch Doctor Who now."

Ryder nodded in agreement and we started our marathon.

"No Amy! Don't blink!" I shouted.

"Amyyyyyyyy," Ryder cried out.

"Nooooo," I yelled when we saw the gravestone.

"Ugh," Ryder said and flopped back onto the couch, "I give up with TV shows. I give them my life, my time and my money and they still hurt me."

Giggling slightly I rested on the utopia we had made. It was full of blankets and pillows and stuffies. "We should go to bed," I stated yawning, "Its one o'clock and we have school in the morning.

Ryder nodded and we both got comfortable in the massive blanket fort type thing we made and went to bed.

***

Groaning lightly I hit whatever was tapping me. "Baylor, Baylor, Baylor, Baylor," a voice called.

"Mom?" I asked in my sleep induced haze.

Whoever was poking me stopped and I opened my eyes, squinting slightly from the light that flew through the curtains. "No sweetie it's dad," my father spoke, his voice raspy.

I sat up completely in my bed and turned to face my dad, he looked quite sad at the moment. "What's wrong?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

He shook his head slightly, "Nothing just thinking about how much I'll miss you."

I nodded and bit on my lip. "Where's Ryder?" I asked looking around the space.

"He had to go home, his mom was making a huge deal over it. He hasn't come out of the closet to them yet," he said and tsked.

"What?" I exclaimed, "He hasn't come out I his parents yet?"

My dad looked like a dear caught in headlights. "You didn't know?" He asked tentatively.

"No!" I exclaimed.

"Oh well," he said scratching his neck, "Um I have to finish breakfast."

He booked it out of the room and I smiled shaking my slightly.

My dad will always be my dad. And no matter when he leaves I'm going to still going to love him. He's my dad. This was his last deployment.

This was going to be a hard week.
