It's cold.....

It's soo cold...

It was the middle of Winter. I decided to spend sometime in New York which, was a long way from my family in Norway.

I was currently walking down a peer. It was quiet and no one was around. I sighed as the crisp, cool air brushed against my snow white Fox ears and tail.

I was an albino fox hybrid like my father. My older brother has melanism which causes him to have all black fur and my oldest brother has normal fox fur. 

Unlike them I always had to correct people for mistaking me as a Artic fox. Another gust of cold air brushed against my fur.
I had on a long coat with a large hood that covered my ears and tail, and a red scarf.

I leaned against the railing while staring at the sky. It was dark blue and had little snowflakes dancing across it.

"Woah!" CRASH!  I twirled around. To see someone in a black and red suit laying on the peer. I rushed over and helped the person up. "Are you ok?" I asked.

The person looked at me.
"I-I'm f-f-fine." They said. I could tell it was a male due to his low voice. He stepped back and looked at me. Then, charged at me, grabbed me, and ran down the peer.

I could hear laser blasts behind us as he ran. I looked behind him as and saw a man in a giant, octopus suit coming after us.
"U-um...person?" I managed to get his attention. He looked at me, I pointed behind us.

He saw the octopus guy, mumbled under his breath, and sped up his pace. When he got to the end of the peer he set me down on a bench and turned around to face the octopus guy.

He kept punching the octopus guy repeatedly making him stagger backwards. The octopus guy saw me and smirked, evily. I curled my tail every nerve in my body told me I was in danger.

"Another friend of yours? She seems a bit timid." The octopus guy said, displeased. "Leave her out of this, Ock!"  The other male yelled. Ock chuckled and tackled him. He held him up by his throat and over the peer. "Nighty night, Spider."

He tightened his grip on the other male's neck. Without thinking I ran towards Ock and sliced off the arm holding the other male with my claws then, wrapped my scarf around Ock's eyes, and stepped back.

Before, I could help him get the metal arm off, Ock smashed the boards we were standing on. I was able to jump in time the other male wasn't. "No!" I yelled, as I took off my coat then, dove into the ice cold water.

I swam deeper and deeper until, I saw him. He was sinking fast due to the metal arm still wrapped around him. I swam faster to catch up with him.

I could tell he was running out of air quickly. So, I tried my hardest to pull the metal arm off, it wouldn't budge. I held up my fingers.

At the same time he pushed, I pulled, and pried the metal arm off. When our heads bursted past the surface of the water both of us grabbed on to parts of the peer, panting heavily.

It wasn't until then, that I realized how cold the water was. The wind blowing against my fur didn't help. The guy climbed onto the broken peer then, held out his hand for me to grab.

I gladly took it and climbed out the water. "Y-you didn't have to s-save me." He said, shivering. I handed him my coat and rolled my eyes. "Soo...what's your name?" I asked. "S-Scarlet Spider. Yours?" He asks.

"r/n, r/n l/n. It's nice to meet you, Scarlet." I said while, smiling. SNAP! CRASH! The boards underneath me collapsed causing me to fall back in the water.

I tried swimming back up, but, my body started to freeze up. It was soo painful but, I had to refrain from screaming to stay alive. I just kept floating d

I closed my eyes, hoping I wouldn't end this way. My air was running out. I couldn't hold my breath any longer.

I breathed

out

slowly.

I felt two hands wrap around my waist and pull me up. Just as I was about to take a breath my head bursted past the surface of the water. I coughed and gagged as air filled my lungs.

I opened my eyes and looked up. Scarlet was holding me close to chest. "I thought you were a goner." He said through breaths of air. "So did I." I said, while holding on to him for dear life.

"Thank you." I said. He lifted me onto the broken peer then, pulled himself up. I shook myself to get water off my fur then, plopped down on the deck exhausted.

Scarlet rushed over to me. "Are you ok?!" He asked. "C-cold. R-really
C-cold." I managed to say.

Scarlet felt the side of my neck. "Hypothermia. It's getting worse." He says as he turns his head to me. "I c-can't move." I said, weakly.

Scarlet kissed my forehead, gently. "You'll be fine." He picked me up and swung away on a web.

Not including these words the story has 911 words. Lol
