Ari PoV

While my dad and grandfather were working on their first robotic partner for shield, I was working on my own design, based on my dads blueprints of course, during the time, my eyes began to feel heavy, till I laid my head down, falling asleep, when I woke up, I found myself in my bed, covered by the sheets, I got up, opened my bedroom door and walked down the hall, on my way down the stairs, I saw my dad looking at some blueprints, when I got closer, I realised, they were mine

"err, dad" he turned his head

" Ari ,  did you make theses designs all by yourself?" He queen questioned, I nervously nodded " umm..yeah.... I based it off from your design...and added my own ideas" he got up, walked over to me, and pulled me into a hug

" your a genius, these modifications you added to your own design are amazing,"

" really?!?!" I smiled

" yes! I'm so proud of you!" He hugged me, just them, my grand father came in

" what's going on in here, what did I miss" he laughed

" dad, looked at Ari's modifications to her own design, their fantastic" he handed my blueprints to him

" wow, ari, these are amazing, hmmm, I think you should help us with upgrades for Lila, I'm sure fury will be impressed" I gasped, they want me to help with Lila, the robotic partner they've been working on

" really?!!? I can't believe this!!!!" I ran at him and hugged him, he laughed

" your mother, would be so proud of you, I know it's hard without her, but she's still her" he referred to my heart, it had been 5 years ago since she died, I know she's still here with us, but it hurts not being able to hold her" come on, after dinner, it's time for bed, then the next day, we start working"

The next day, I worked so hard on new ways to upgrade Lila, my dad and grandpa were working on lila's ether furnace, when there was a loud bang at the door

"Dad, what ways that?" I asked starting to feel a little scarred" Ari , get behind me" he said and I obeyed, the bang continued, until the door was knocked down, a man in a mask along with five men entered, I was so scared

" who are you, how did you find this place!" My grandpa demanded, none of them answered, then one of them shot his gun, hitting my grandpa

"Grandpa NOOOO!!" I yelled trying to run to him but my dad stopped me" Ari get down!!" He yelled knocking both of us onto the floor, bullets began, firing towards us, we ducked behind the metal table, I was so scared, covering my face with my hands, my dad then handed me a box, I opened it and saw it was all the research we had on the robotic partners for shield" dad what are you doing?!" I asked confused

"Ari I'm sorry, but we can't let them get these, I need you to leave this place, it's up to you to finished what we started" he handed me a map," follow this map" and what ever you do, don't let anyone get their hands on our research" I was still in shock" but what about you!?"

" I'll distract them, long enough for you to get away" he said. no, I can't il already lost mom and now grandpa, I can't lose my dad to" I can't leave you!" I cried " I sent a message to fury, he's going to pick you up, don't worry, this isn't goodbye, now get ready" he grabbed one of the smoke bombs from his lab coat and threw it at the attackers, as soon as it blew up they stopped firing and began coughing, I took this chance to run to the window, I opened it and climbed through, I could hear the shooting again, I started running through forest, I could hear the sound of leaves crunching behind me, I could hear them getting closer, and closer, I finally found the road, suddenly one of the attackers, jumped me, knocking the box out of my hand, of course there was no way I was gonna let him get it, so I kicked him in the face knocking him over, I stumbled towards the box, grabbing it and ran for the bunker

Few days later

I waited for fury in the bunker a few days, but he hasn't come, so instead, I'm gonna take matters into my own hands

I know I haven't posted for a few weeks, but I'm working in college at the moment, don't worry, more posted will be coming soon, hi guys sorry I know I changed the name, but I finally relished it would t fit when Riley married a certain someone, so I'm changing the name to ari now and don't worry, this is all il change
