(One month later)

Y/N's P.O.V

So it's been one month since I took down Venom and Sandman with help from Justin. It's also been a month since Yelena and I kissed.

She and I haven't really spoken about the kiss since it happened.

I've spent most of this month training Ben as a hero. He's pretty good, he's got potential. He still needs some guidance though.

Justin is doing good too. Tony and Steve even think it's time to bring him into the Avengers, which is awesome.

I'm currently swinging through the city right now thinking about the kiss with Yelena.

Y/N: I still can't believe it. Yelena kisses me and I just let her leave like that. I mean I deal with big bads daily, but I can't handle a little kiss. Not even Mia caused paralysis like that.

I land on a rooftop.

Y/N: Does that mean that Yelena is the one? I mean I know Venom thought so but...

Before I can finish I feel my phone going off. I grab it and see that it's Tony calling me.

So after the phone call I find that he needs me for a mission with the other Avengers.

I decide that it's time to see what Ben can do. I mean I've finished his new suit, so may as well.

(The next day)

So we've just come back from the mission and I'm dropping Ben back at his house. I pull up to the house.

He's been recording the whole experience for himself.

When I tell him he can keep his new suit he lowers the camera.

Ben: I can keep the suit.

Y/N: Yeah, that's what we were just talking about. Plus, it ain't gonna fit me anyway.

I clear my throat.

Y/N: So, now that you've been on a real mission like that I'm gonna start to back off, so you can do some solo hero stuff. Because you need to get used to doing this stuff on your own too.

Ben: Okay, cool.

Y/N: Just don't do anything stupid Ben. Don't do anything I would do and definitely don't do anything I wouldn't do. There's uh... there's a little gray area in there and that's where you'll operate, okay?

Ben: So, does this mean I'm an Avenger now?

I shake head.

Y/N: No, no it does not. But you'll get there one day.

After that I lean over and open the door for him.

Y/N: Okay, get going Ghost Spider. Go on now. Be free.

Ben: Okay.

Y/N: Bye.

He grabs his suit out of the back of the car and leaves.

(Three days later)

So I've been letting Ben do stuff on his own now for three days. I've also got a tracker in his suit, just in case and it's good as he's just fallen into a lake and is drowning.

I jump down into the lake and pull him out.

After that he and I go to an empty park nearby.

Ben: The Vulture, he took me up like a thousand feet and he dropped me into the lake. How'd you find me? Did you put a tracker in my suit?

Y/N: I put alot of things in your suit. Including this heater.

I activate the heater and he warms up.

Ben: Whoa. Wow, thanks.

Y/N: Ben, what were you thinking?

Ben: Vulture is obviously the one stealing the weapons. I gotta take him down.

Y/N: Take him down now, huh? Easy Rambo, there are people that deal with this sorta thing.

Ben: You mean you?

Y/N: Yeah. You need to stay close to the ground Ben. Build yourself help by helping the little people, like I did.

Ben: But I'm ready for more than that now.

I put my mask back on.

Y/N: No, you're not. Listen, you come across Vulture or his people again you call me or Justin. You understand?

He sighs.

Ben: Yes.

Y/N: Good. Now go home and get some rest.

Ben then nods and web swings away.

(Five days later)

Okay, so I've just gotten a call from Justin and the short of it is that Ben has caused some trouble with a ferry.

He and I swing on over there and see that Ben is trying to hold two halves of the ferry together.

Justin and I land on both sides of the ferry.

Y/N: Hey Ghost Spider. Aren't you supposed to be in school?

Justin and I get to work on bring the ferry back together, when we do it people start cheering.

Man: Yeah! Spider-Man! Scarlet Spider!

We make it to the top of the ferry.

Ben: Hey Y/N! Tell me what to do. What can I do?

I look at him.

Y/N: I think you've done enough.

Justin and I finish the job and allow the services to take over.

After that I go over to see Ben, who's sitting on a rooftop with his mask off.

I land down behind him and take off my mask.

Y/N: Previously on Ben Screws the Pooch. I tell you to stay away from this, but you hacked a multimillion dollar suit so you can sneak around behind me back and do the one thing I told you not to do.

Ben: Is everyone okay?

I sigh.

Y/N: No thanks to you.

Ben then stands and faces me.

Ben: No thanks to me? Those weapons were out there and I tried to tell you. None of this woulda happened if you had just listened to me!

I step forward.

Y/N: I did listen Ben. Who'd you think called the FBI, huh? You know, I was the only one who believed in you. Everyone else said I was nuts to recruit a fourteen year old kid...

Ben: I'm fifteen.

Y/N: No, this is where you zip it! The adult is talking. What if someone had died back there? Different story, right? Because that's on you and if you died, I think that's on me. I don't need that on my conscience.

Ben: Yeah, I know. I'm sorry.

Y/N: Sorry isn't gonna cut it Ben.

Ben: I just wanted to be like you.

I sigh.

Y/N: And I wanted you to be better. Look, if it's not working out I'm gonna need that suit back.

Ben: For how long?

Y/N: For good.

Ben: No Y/N. Please, don't. I'm nothing without this suit.

Y/N: If you're nothing without this suit, then you shouldn't have it. Okay?

I roll my eyes.

Y/N: God, I sound like my dad and my grandpa.

Ben: Y/N, I don't have any other clothes.

Y/N: That's fine. We can sort that out.

After getting Ben new clothes and taking the suit, I go and join Justin again.

Justin: Hey man, wasn't that a little harsh?

I sigh.

Y/N: Maybe, but he'll learn something from it. He needs to.

After that Justin and I swing away.

(Four days later)

So it's been four days since I took Ben's suit, but the crazy thing is he took down Vulture on his own in his crappy prototype suit.

I've now had him come to Avengers Tower to talk with me.

As soon as I see him I tap him on the shoulder. He and I then start walking along.

Y/N: You did good kid.

I pull him close and put my arm around his shoulder.

Y/N: I'm sorry I took your suit, you had it coming though. It was actually the perfect tough love moment you needed right?

Ben: Yeah, I guess. Y/N I...

Y/N: You screwed the pooch hard, bigtime, but then you did the right thing. You took the dog to the free clinic, you raised the hybrid puppies... sorry, not my best analogy. I was wrong about you Ben.

We walk into a room.

Y/N: I think with a bit more training and mentoring you could be a real asset to the team.

Ben: The team? You mean the Avengers?

Y/N: Yeah, maybe one day. But I was talking about the Web Warriors.

Ben: Web Warriors?

Y/N: Yeah, it's a team that Justin and I started for people who have spider's powers, like us.

Ben: Cool. So, why are we here?

Y/N: Well, considering how well you did against the Vulture I figured it was time for you to get a new suit.

I tap the screen and the door opens to reveal Ben's new suit.

(A/N: Hope you like this suit for Ben.)

Ben: Whoa.

He steps closer to it.

Y/N: Yeah, give that a look.

Ben: Thank you Y/N.

Y/N: Of course. Welcome to the Web Warriors Ghost Spider.

Ben smiles as he enjoys this moment. We now have are first official Web Warrior member.

Though I get the feeling he won't be are last member.
