Chapter 3: The Daily Life
A/N: This is a filler episode. Nothing of note actually happens here. I'll go back to the main story after this chapter.
(3rd Person's P.O.V.)
DING, DONG! BING, BONG!
"Good morning, everyone!" Monokuma chirped on Sora's monitor. "It is now 7 a.m. and nighttime is officially over! Time to rise and shine! Get ready to greet another beee-yutiful day!"
Sora groaned as the monitor turned off. Lazily opening her eyes, she yawned. Apparently it's morning, but due to the bolted windows, she can't exactly confirm that.
She got out of bed and headed to the bathroom.
---
As Sora was done taking a shower(which only took five minutes, by the way), she held the towel wrapped around her short, but curvaceous body. She looked in the mirror and admired herself before putting on her clothes.
Now what do I do...? Sora thought. She sighed. She might as well see what everyone else is doing. Not like she has anything better to do...
---
Stepping outside her room, Sora found herself in front of Taka.
"Good morning, Shirayuki!" He greeted with his usual booming voice.
Sora didn't say anything, but made a casual 'hello' wave in response.
"Yes, morning greetings are quite a delight! Such an energizing way to start the day!" Taka smiled. "Now then, let's make sure we both do our very best throughout the day!"
Sora shrugged as she walked off. Why is he like this...? She thought to herself in annoyance.
Now standing aimlessly in the halls, Sora let out a small yawn before rubbing the back of her head.
Well... I have some free time. Maybe I should get to know the others... Not like I have anything better to do...

Free Time Event: Aoi Asahina
"Hm? Oh hey, Shirayuki! What's up?" Hina greeted as she saw Sora approached her.
"Nothing. I'm bored, so I just wanted to kill some time with ya."
"Oh, sure thing! You wanna do some stretches!?"
"Uh..."
Sora spent some time stretching with Aoi, though she was a bit reluctant. Regardless, she felt as if they've gotten closer.
...
...
...
"Oh man... Oh man...!" Hina muttered to herself.
"...Something wrong?" Sora raised an eyebrow.
"I'm gettin' totally fired up!" Hina grinned.
"...How come? Didn't we just do a couple stretches awhile ago?" Sora pointed out.
"That doesn't matter! Now that I'm revved up, I need to get it out! Let's race!"
"Ah... I don't think I'd do very good against you. I don't have that much stamina when it comes to that sorta stuff..."
"Really? Well, I don't mind a solo run!"
"Geez... You're so energetic, Hina..."
"Huh? Hey, are you makin' fun of me!?" Hina folded her arms, making a small pout.
"Of course not, I'm just...impressed." Sora said.
"Really...? I used to know this one guy, he was always like, "Hina, you're like, a super spaz!"" Hina recalled.
"Super spaz, huh... That's...something." Sora rubbed the back of her head.
"Yeah! Like, he'd see me wearing shorts in winter, and he'd say stuff like that. But if you lose to the cold like that, it just means you weren't dedicated enough!"
"Jeez, you did all that and didn't get sick?"
"Getting sick is for the weak! If you're really dedicated, winter means even lighter clothes! It's all part of your training!"
Training, huh...?
"Well, you're braver than me, Hina." Sora let out a small chuckle. "You wouldn't see me doing that kinda stuff. Even though I love the winter, if I stay out for too long, I'm pretty much finished for a day at least..."
"See? You're soft! You need more training!" Hina shook her head. "Okay! I've got the perfect remedy to keep someone like you fit as a fiddle!"
"That being...?"
"Actually, I do this myself every morning!" Hina said. You just strip down to your waist, then take a dry towel and start rubbing down your bare skin! I call it...! I call it...uh..." She trailed off before placing a finger on her chin in confusion. "What do I call it again?"
"I think I've heard of that before... It's called towel treatment, right?" Sora guessed.
"Oh Kami! Yeah, that's it! I love going out on my apartment balcony, stripping down, feeling the wind on my skin..." Hina let out a reminiscent sigh. "Kami, it feels so amazing! I never let a morning pass without getting in a good rubdown!"
You stripped down on your balcony...? Sora thought, her face turning red.
You should give it a try!" Hina advised. "If you haven't got your health, you haven't got anything!
I'd hate to see you catch cold or something..."
After being exposed to that...unique sickness prevention method, Sora parted ways with Hina.

Free Time Event: Junko Enoshima
"Heyyy, Shirayuki!" Junko ran up to her.
"Hm?" Sora turned around. "Oh, Enoshima. I was looking for you..."
"Oh~? Well, it just so happens I was looking for you, too!" Junko grinned.
"Weird...but okay. Wanna hang out?" Sora offered.
Junko made a dramatic gasp. "Oh, Shirayuki~... Are you asking me on a date!?" She giggled. "Oh, you're such a little cutie!"
Sora talked a little with Junko, though it was the latter who was holding up most of the conversations. Regardless, she felt like they've gotten closer...
...
...
...
"Listen, I just wanna make this clear right up front." Junko suddenly spoke up, a serious expression present on her face. "Don't get the wrong idea about any of this, okay?"
"Uh...specifics?" Sora requested.
"I mean I hope you're not expecting anything from me." Junko explained. "Gotta keep my virtue safe, ya know?"
"Huh? You mean..." Sora shook her head. "Don't worry about all that. I just wanted to talk. Nothing more, nothing less. Besides, we just met, like, a day ago..."
Junko smiled. "I figured. You're not that kinda girl, right? Looking at you, I get a total "omega female" vibe. But still, they say even the tamest people can turn into a wild animal. So I figured I'd say it anyway."
Wild animal...?
"Don't ask me why, but I seem to attract guys and girls like that." Junko mentioned as she made a small frown. "They call me up super late at night all like, "Hey, let's hang!" Like I don't know what that means!"
Sora tilted her head in confusion before a lightbulb shined in head. "Oooh... You mean hanging out as in... "Intimate intercourse"..." She air quoted.
"Yeah, that's basically the gist of it. Anyway, so we all get together, but the whole group's full of dumbasses!" Junko huffed, folding her arms. "Keeping creepos like that away is like a full-time job, ya know?"
"Jeez, models sure have a rough, huh?" Sora remarked. "But, I guess I understand. Popularity has its ups and downs, after all..."
Junko blinked in surprise. "Wow, Shirayuki. You...actually get it. You do get it, right? You totally get me!" She grinned, flashing a peace sign at her.
"I...guess so." Sora replied, subconsciously twirling some of her blonde hair around her finger.
"Listen, maybe I can introduce you to some of my friends sometime!" Junko offered. "So, what's your type? I dunno why, but I get the feeling with swing the other way..."
"Wh-Whaddya mean by tha-"
"Ah, you're blushing! You totally are!" Junko pointed with a small chuckle. "Let's see... Even with how stoic you act, you're actually super passive, aren't you? So you need a really aggressive girl! Or maybe someone who's just as calm and collected as you are! Sometimes opposites don't have to always attract, ya know? You just need a girl who won't give up on you! And someone who'll totally dominate you in the dorms~!" She teased.
"E-Enoshima... I-I don't really need..."
"I'll find the perfect girl for you as soon as we get outta here! Ehehe! I hope you're as excited as I am!" Junko giggled as she walked off.
Sora felt an awkward bead of sweat drop down her face.

Free Time Event: Kyoko Kirigiri
Sora walked into one of the classrooms to find Kyoko. "Kirigiri. I've been looking for you. Wanna kill some time together?"
"Ah, so you wish to spend some time with me?" Kyoko made a light shrug. "I suppose I can. I've done everything I needed to today." She said with a faint smile.
Sora spent time doing nothing in particular with Kyoko. Regardless, she felt like they've gotten closer.
...
...
...
"...Are you scared, Shirayuki?" Kyoko suddenly asked out of the blue.
"...Huh?" Sora blinked before processing the question. "Well...scared not the right word for it. I guess you can say I'm feeling...anxious?"
Kyoko nodded. "Anxiousness stems from fear. But...regardless, that's good."
"...It is?" Sora raised an eyebrow.
"Fear is proof that your imagination is still functioning. Frankly I feel bad for anyone who can't feel fear."
"Well, what about you? Despite the situation, you're eerily calm." Sora pointed out.
"Heh, that's humorous coming from you. You look just as nonplussed to all of this as I am." Kyoko remarked. "But you just confirmed that you feel fear, but you hide it from others. I'm the same as you in that regard. I simply hide my emotions. There's no advantage to be gained from letting others see how you feel. But I think the "fear" I experience is a little different than yours, I think..."
"...?" Sora's ahoge bobbed up and down while the blonde tilted her head, expressing her confusion.
"You're afraid of what you might lose, right? But I'm afraid of what I've already lost." Kyoko explained.
"That's...cryptic." Sora face turned blank.
"I know." Kyoko chuckled. "Goodbye." Without explaining any further, she simply left.
What an odd girl... Sora thought. Still, it seems like we're getting to know each other bit by bit...
---
In Sora's room...
DING, DONG! BING, BONG!
"Mm, ahem, this is a school announcement. It is now 10 p.m. As such, it is officially nighttime. Soon the doors to the dining hall will be locked, and entry at that point is strictly prohibited. Okay then...sweet dreams, everyone! Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite..."
The monitor shut off as Sora yawned. She closed her eyes as she began to drift off. In the same position. With her head hanging off the edge of the bed.
She surrendered to her slumber and within a few moments...she was asleep.
