Serenity was extremely powerful, not only could she control the elements and cast the majority of spells with ease but she could also manipulate time. It took immense strength, focus and control to see through time but Serenity did have experience on her side as the elven sorceress was over two hundred years old. There wasn't much she couldn't do yet the manipulation of time was a dangerous ability to wield as it took huge amounts of power, leaving the sorceress drained of energy whenever she was asked to use it.

Serenity also detested large groups of people, she required tranquility and space to rest when she wasn't working so insisted the king give her quarters away from prying eyes and wagging tongues. The sorceress made the lower levels of the castle her sanctuary.

The smell of jasmine kept her chaotic mind at ease as she ran slender fingers over old parchment, the taste of honey and lemon dancing playfully over her tongue slowed her anxiety somewhat.
Serenity didn't need to be told of his arrival, the two had worked closely together for many years and she could sense his troubled mind before he even began descending the stairs.

"Suilad." Serenity greeted the king as he reached the doorway to her quarters.

"Still using the old elvish Serenity?"

"Tancave." There was a teasing lilt to her voice as she continued to study the parchment.

"I'm guessing you already know why I'm here?"

She did, of course she did.

"I know, get comfortable at the table and we'll begin shortly." 

Her eyes never left the parchment as he moved through the cluttered living space, there was the sound of wood against stone as he pulled out a chair before sitting down.

"Clear your mind, focus on the runes." Serenity instructed as she rolled the parchment and stored it away with the rest.

"I just want to know if sending my eldest through the gateway is the right decision, he doesn't know the human world like Taehyung." 

Serenity approached the table, finally her eyes settled over the king.

"You're tired and anxious, the runes won't tell us their story if you don't relax and clear your mind." She took the seat opposite him, fingertips brushing across the stone.

"Tell me what you see Serenity." 

It didn't take long for the sorceress to make a connection, her dark eyes shifting to a vibrant blue.

"The eldest must travel with you to the gateway, when the time comes you must let him fall as she will save him."

"Who will save him?"

"I don't see her face, she's not like us but there's something different about her. There's also darkness.....so much darkness spreading across our land."

This was new, the last time Serenity connected with the runes she mentioned only that Taehyung couldn't pass through the gateway but never anything about a darkness.

What darkness?

"Serenity tell me more of this darkness, what do you see?"

"They have a powerful weapon, one that could potentially destroy our kind."

"What weapon Serenity?"

"She can stop it, the one who stops his fall can call upon a weapon far greater.......she has the power to release Omrodierth."

"Omrodierth? The last of the angulóke?! That's impossible!" 

"Only her, only she has the power to release Omrodierth."

The elven king was rendered speechless, after years of peace darkness was once again on the horizon and to defeat it they required the help of Omrodierth, the last angulóke.

She is the only one who can call for Omrodierth.

His eldest must fall but she will save him.

Who was she? What power did she have?

"Taehyung....." Serenity was loosing the connection, desperately she was trying to gather whatever she could before it was too late.

"What about him?" 

"He must stay with her, tell him to never let go......allow himself to fall."

Fall?

Never let who go?

Serenity suddenly lost the connection, once blue eyes now back to dark brown.

"I can't see anything else, too much power has already been used. "

"It's okay Serenity, you've done well." 

"What will you do now?"

"I'll prepare for war."
