i believe god gave us a gut for a reason, and for the love of crap, that guts almost always right.

if someone or something makes you uncomfortable, theres probably a reason. if someone makes you feel unsafe, you do not have to continue interacting with them. your safety should be your #1 priority.

if someone online is trying to weasel out information from you, and is asking you questions that make you uncomfortable, you do not have to continue communicating. block them. keep yourself safe.

there are very mean, disgusting people out there. please keep yourself safe.

an adult should not be having sexual conversations with a minor. they should not be showing you sexual content, or trying to make advances on you. if someone tries to do this, get away immediately.

offline tip: if someone, in a public setting, is making you uncomfortable, wont leave you alone, trying to touch you, or you fear physical/sexual assault, MAKE A SCENE. scream, shout, make noise. make people notice you. use words that will catch peoples attention. "hes trying to molest me!" "this person is trying to rape me!"

vague cries for help do not fair well- call out specific people. the bystander effect is always going on. "you, in the blue shirt, please help me!" works better than "help me!" calling out specific people makes them involved in the situation. ive also read that sharing facts about yourself also gets people invested in you.

i highly suggest not meeting ppl online. if thy must, MAKE IT A HIGHLY PUBLIC AND BUSY PLACE WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE AROUND YOU. ditto for first dates. dont go anywhere alone with someone. not everyone is a rapist, but for the love of crap, look out for yourself.

dont leave your drink unattended if youre on a  date. if you must get up to go to the bathroom and leave it, order a new one. roofies turn clear liquids blue and dark liquids cloudy (nfh fans know that)

if an unmarked police car pulls you over, keep driving until you find a rest area or other public space. this is advised in driving manuals when youre getting your license.

use common sense and if you dont feel safe, get somewhere you are safe.
