[🅢🅘🅧~ good grief, ya big babies]

"Okay. Super cool suits, check. Voice of reason..." Tony glances to Stevie Wonder and tossed his head to the side, satisfied. "Check. Boss-lady in charge... check." He flicked a thumbs up at me and I rolled my eyes. Nerd.

"I think you've got everything set." I mumbled as I checked vitals on both the machine and my people. I glanced back up at T and sighed.

"Please be safe." I pleaded, barely able to meet his eyes. "I don't want to lose you."

A huff from him and he ruffled my hair with a hand. "It'll be okay, Runt. Promise. Rhodey will make sure I don't do anything stupid." Dee stood beside him, a hand placed on my shoulder. I nodded, barely holding a grasp on my tears. "I love you, Runt. I'll see you soon, okay?" He stooped down and have me a tight hug.

I sniffed, burying my face in his chest. "I can't bear to lose either of you. Just... don't die. Okay?" Tony let go of me and winked. Dee stood before me as T walked off.

De frowned and pressed a kiss to my forehead, long and desperate. He held me close to him and took in a sharp breath. "I know you've been through a lot recently, kid. I've always loved you like you were my own.... and you're better than anything I could ever ask for."

"I love you, too, Dad." I chuckled, wiping a tear from my cheek. "See you soon."

A few tears later, I managed saying goodbye to Bug, and she just said she'd be back soon.

"I am proud of you though, Cori. You've got this whole super thing down."

I stood beside Fed, firing up the machine as we washed one last goodbye to the time travelers. They disappeared into oblivion of the past, and we were left with just Flo and a giant empty house.

Days past us by in a blur, playing useless games until Flo made us do homework. Thursday rolled around, and they made a flashy appearance back, tired and wounded.

Ned and I rushed up to greet them, though their eyes were filled with tears. My smile to both Dee and Tony fell as I realized why.

"Where is Bug...?"

I wiped my nose with a sleeve as I leaned on Tony, my heart wrenched at the death of my mentor. Dee held my hand as I wept my heart onto my face.

"I know a lot has happened already, but we got the stones back." Tony sat up and I grumbled.

A shaky breath in, out. I nodded. Peter.

"Let's get my Peter back." I stood, following Cap and T into the office, where the infinity stones glowed radiant colors on a table. Banner sat up upon our entering, his eyes wet with tears.

"Ready?" He asked, glancing at me. We nodded.

The gauntlet sucked in the stones and the snap was very anticlimactic. Each of us glanced around, waiting.

How long was this supposed to take?

I held my breath in anticipation. My hands shook and my heart beat faster than is probably normal. Light footsteps sounded outside the office and I wilted into silent sobs.

After a split second of composing myself, I tiptoed around the corner, only to be struck still at the sight.

Beautiful curly brown locks, messy and gorgeous but still perfect all the same. His eyes still held the same joy I remembered, and his face the same outrageously happy smile.

To say I ran would be an understatement.

I flew.

To Peter.

Instantly encapsulated in his warmth and arms once more, I melted into his embrace. Soft cried erupted from both of us as I looked into his eyes, double checking that I wasn't dreaming.

"Webs?"

"It's me, baby. It's me."

"Thank God." And I pressed my lips to his, no longer empty and void.

Warm bro-hugs and awkward dad hugs later, Peter and I sat curled up outside under the stars.

I leaned into his side, embracing every little moment we claimed and savoring it. A smile on my face, I pinched my arm just to make sure.

"Stop doing that!" Peter whined and pawed my hand away from my arm and instead held it to his chest.

"Do you know how many times I've had this dream and then woken up to reality again? I'm just making sure I'm not crazy."

"Well..."

"Hey!" I snatched my hand away from him and he chuckled, a sound I hadn't heard in a long time.

I shot up in a second, eyes wide. "Peter. We haven't told Flower yet."

"Uh oh. How did she handle it?"

"Um. She and I agreed not to talk about it." I gave him and awkward smile and snatched his hand. Pulling him along, we rushed up to May's soft yellow room where sat in her window seat.

I pushed Peter backwards and out of her view, before announcing my presence. She turned and smiled when her eyes met mine.

"Hey."

"Hi. I have a little bit of a surprise for you." I gave a cheeky smile and told her to close her eyes. By the hand, I led her into the hallway where Webs stood with teary eyes.

I peeled her hands from her face and stepped back to hold Peters hand. A smile to him and I watched as her eyes came open and her jaw dropped.

We were finally whole again. A family, though broken and bruised and really really disfigured. But we had each other again, and I really hoped we never had to let go.
