[🅣🅗🅡🅔🅔~ are you sure? fight me]

I hissed and ground my teeth together as I dodged a punch. I shot a web to her fist and pulled her close. She stumbled by, and a kick sent her flying behind me. Nat gave a huff as she stood and once again threw a kick my way and I had to step back to avoid. A smirk, though through my mask she couldn't see, and I ran towards her. She held my punch off with a hand while my leg swung around, knocking her off her feet.

I laughed and stepped off the giant blue mat we had been sparring on. "I'm getting pretty good at this!"

Natasha rolled her eyes with a scoff and threw an empty water bottle at the back of my head. "Already cocky. Tony Jr."

I spun and waggled a finger at her. "Nuh uh, Bug. I've always been cocky." I gave a twirl and bowed. She shook her head and took a sip of her water. My hand found the hood to my suit, pulling it from my head. The suit peeled away from my head, releasing my dark brown curls. My bright blue eyes cast a wink towards her and she laughed. "Lady's lunch?" I asked, pulling my hands from the suit, and it fully retracted off my body leaving the sweatshirt and the clothes I wore underneath. The blue sweatshirt of Webs came off and I tied it around my waist leaving my white tank top hugging my figure.

"Sure."

I nodded, a smile playing at my lips. "Meet you downstairs in five."

I knocked on Flo's door and leaned against the frame. "Come on party animal, we're going out for a lady lunch. Bug is coming. I'm thinking Mediterranean?"

The door chirped as May unlocked it and I let myself in. Her room was a soft pastel yellow color, plants hung all around. She said they kept her busy. Sat cross-legged in front of her mirror was Flower, pulling her long straight brown hair into a bun. Her glasses sat perched on her nose. "I'm fine with anything as long as I don't have to cook."

"Yeah, we saw how that turned out last time." I teased and she wrinkled her nose at me. A laugh, and she stood.

I snagged a black bandana and used it to pull my too-long-for-my-haircut curly hair out of my face. A pair of hoops off her dresser (that she had borrowed from me earlier this week so it's fair) and I was done. My mop of curly hair sat on the top of my head, the sides shaved. It almost looked like a mohawk, but far cuter and lady like.

The elevator doors dinged as they opened, revealing Nat sitting outside waiting for us. Bug had her arms crossed over her chest. I glanced to the left and saw Dee. I held up a finger to the girls and ran over to him. He was bent over something with Tony, arguing with him over something stupid I'm sure.

I hugged my dad from behind, catching him off guard. "We're going to get lunch." I muttered in his ear. "You're in charge!" I pulled away from him and gave T a quick hug. He pouted.

"Why can't I be in charge?"

"Anthony Stark, because I said so." I lowered a teasing glare and he stuck his tongue out at me.

"Bye, love you Dee!"

He waved a good bye and I skipped back over to my entourage. "Let's roll."

I sat beside May in the back of Nat's over-the-top black convertible.

She stole it from Tony.

I glanced about, waving to people as we passed. My eyes found May, gazing out to her right. "You alright?"

A nod. "My life has changed a lot."

I frowned. "Uh oh. Do you not like it at HQ?" I questioned, tilting my head to the side.

May shook her head and graced me with a bright smile. "Oh no no. It's always a lot of fun. I just miss Ben and Peter. But don't worry about me, I'm okay."

A breath escaped my lips and I shut my eyes with a nod. "I miss Peter more than anything. I don't know why, but I have this peace about it. Maybe the universe will allow us to be together in the after life."

The car squealed to a stop and I hopped out, stretching. May and Nat crawled out and I followed them to the restaurant. Pleasant smells wandered over to me and after getting our food, we sat outside. I stared down at my food as a wave of sadness punched my stomach. A simple thought has the power to do this.

"Peter brought me this food one day when he came home." My voice was choked and sounded as if I was being strangled.

May placed a hand on mine, and pulled me close. I wiped my wet eyes with a hand, and shook my head. "It's been a year. I thought it would get better."

Across the table from me, Nat grumbled. "It'll always hurt. But, one day, it won't hurt as much." She set her fork down with a clang as her phone rang.

A sigh, and she pulled it from her pocket, holding it to her face. She leaned her head into her other hand. Wordless, she mouthed 'Steve' and rolled her eyes.

In a split second, her demeanor changed and she sat up straight, eyes wide. "Are you serious? We're coming." She hung up and her eyes found mine.

"Scott Lang is at head quarters."

I winced and narrowed my eyes. "What? He was dusted."

"No. He's at our front door right now."
