Gajeel's POV

I sit at Fairy Tail as I eat my Iron. Phantom Lord lost the war as was disbanded. Rain Woman joined two days before Makarov found me with Kari at the Phantom Lord destroyed Guild. I joined and went straight to that rundown hut at the edge of Magnolia. I fixed it up and got it all fixed up. I got new wood and was able to enforce the strength with Iron. I had Juvia watch Kari while I fixed the house up. I am in the process of getting furniture. I look over to see Salamander and his little group walk in. They looked at me surprised to see me.

"It's alright. I already forgive him," I hear the blue hair girl that I bolted against the tree that night speak up.

I'm gonna give her the nickname of Shrimp. Since she is so short. I got to the request board to find a job. I need some jewels to finish the house and get some food for Pumpkin. I pick one and leaves the Guild. I walk pass the tree where everything went downhill. I see Jet, Droy and Shrimp standing in front of me. Lev is hiding behind the tree. That's when Jet and Droy attack me. And I just let them. Why should I fight them? I want them to know I'm not a threat and ta leave me alone. When they stop, Laxus walks up and gives me a couple of punches. I hit against a rock. I look up and breath heavy.

"IM DONE TAKING ORDERS FROM YOU," Laxus says as he sends a bolt of lightning towards Shrimp.

I surge forward and take the hit before it can get to Shrimp.

"Gajeel," Lev say as I start to walk away. "Gajeel wait."

"Leave me alone," I grumble as I head to my house.

I walk in as Pumpkin waddles over to me.

"Dada," she says as she comes and hugs my leg.

"Hey there Pumpkin, how do ya like the house?"

She smiles up at me. I bend down and pick her up.

"Dad needs to go on a job. I won't be gone for long."

Kari nods her head. I give her some mashed up veggies as she eats it and then takes a nap. I ruffle her her hair and kiss her forehead before I close and lock the door. I walk away as I head off for the job. It's quick and easy, and it's just a town over, I can get it done and be home with Pumpkin before dinner.

Kari's POV

I open my eye and look around to see that my dad have left. I sit up and waddle over to the window. I open it up and sneak out of the house. My orange dress falls down to me knees as I waddle towards the Guild where my dad joined after what ever happen to the other one he and Aunt Juvia was in. I waddle and it takes me a good 15 minutes, with some little breaks, to get to the doors. I push them open as I waddle in. I look around and smile as I watch them brawl. I smile and clap. I spot Aunt Juvia, as I waddle over to her. I manage not to get hit with flying barrels and chairs and tables as I get to where she is sitting. I tug onto her dress as she looks down and looks at me shocked.

"Kari?! Why are you not home," Juvia ask me as she picks me up.

I giggle and give her a kiss on the cheek. No one have noticed me yet. Juvia sighs as she stands up. She is about to leave, when I wiggled free and starts to waddle away from her.

"Kari! Come back," Juvia says as she starts to chase me.

I giggle as I run as fast as a 1 year old can, to flee from my aunt. I weave between people's legs and keep exploring the Guild. A blue hair girl with hazel eyes, with a book, notice me as she scoops me up and she puts me on her lap.

Levy's POV

I see Juvia chasing a toddler. I decide to give her a hand as I scoop her up and place her on my lap.

"Thank you Levy-Chan for helping Juvia catch Kari."

"No problem! How do you know her? Who are her parents?"

"It is a long story. Juvia should bring her home before her father notice that Kari is gone."

I am about to hand Kari to Juvia, when the doors burst open to see an angry Iron Dragon-Slayer standing at the door.

Gajeel's POV

I finish the job earlier and head home. I unlock the door and come inside.

"Pumpkin! I'm home!"

I wait to hear the pitter-patted of Kari's feet, but it never came. I sniff her out to see the back window is open. I close it and curse, knowing that she somehow got out. I drop my things off and run out. I pick her daisy-vanilla sent and follow it. The sent leads me to the Guild and I burst the door to the Guild open. Everyone stops and look at me. I probably have anger written on my face, but that doesn't matter. I spot Kari on Shrimp's lap before she have noticed me. She looks my way as she smiles brightly and wiggles free from Levy's grasp and waddles over to me.

"Dada!"
