I am Kagami Rin, well its not like I am bragging or anything but....I am the type that is almost perfect at everything. You know, like being good at academics, sports, and making friends. But I get too much attention, I am starting to hate myself.

"Len-san you are absent yesterday,right? Here are the copies of the lessons yesterday." I said to a classmate.

"Thank you." He said and got the papers from mh hands.

This guy is Kagamine Len, just some kind of a loner. Well, its not like I am insulting him or anything. Well, despite being a loner, there is a guy that called himself his friend. He hardly ever gets any attention..... I want to be someone like him even if I have to get bad grades.

Why you ask? Because like I said earlier, I get a lot of attention since I'm good at academics and at sports. Most of my ‘friends’ are just there to copy assignments. I only have one real friend even though almost everyone is this school ‘likes’ me.

"Do you have any questions, Len-san?" I pretended to have discussed something important since he is not really paying attention, like me.

"No. Thank you." He said.

"Its okay!" I said and smiled at him. He blushed. That looked kinda....cute.

I dont know why but I think little by little, I am starting to like him. Weird right? But that’s how love works.

The first subject is PE. We are now playing badminton in the court. As I was playing with my only true friend Gumi, everyone is looking at us in awe.

"Rin sure is amazing!" The others exclaimed. Am I really that good?

"Len watch out!" Someone shouted. I turned around to see Len-san. The shuttlecock landed straight on hid face! He fell in the ground and covered his face. That must have hurt.

Almost everyone rushed towards him. Of course, I did too.

"Len-san, are you okay?" I asked. But instead of giving a reply, his nose bleed.

"Oh, no his nose is bleeding! Please bring him to the infirmary!" I shouted and his self-proclaimed best friend carried him.

"I'm really sorry bro." He said and we brought him to the infirmary.

The next subject is math. We had a quiz the day before yesterday and the teacher is telling us the results today.

"Wow! Rin got a 100 again!" My friend, Gumi said.

"Its just luck." I said embarrassed. Just why dk I get scores like these without any efforts.... I feel bad for others...

I looked at Len-san who is making a weird face while looking at his paper. Cute.

"Gah!" He shouted. Is his score that bad?

"20 again? Len, seriously you need to study." His ‘best friend’ said and peeked at his test paper.

"Shut up!" He said and crumpled his paper. These guys sure are having fun.

After classes, I took all of my things and went straight to home. Tommorrow is the start of summer break. I have nothing to do again.

"I’m home." I said as I entered the house.

"Welcome back." My older brother, Rinto greeted.

"How’s the test?" He asked with a scary look.

"Here." I said as I put the paper in his hand. He looked at it and smiled.

"How can you get scores like this, when all ypu ever do is read manga?" He asked.

"I dont know. Luck, maybe." I said the line I always say.

"Luck doesnt happen everytime, Rin." He said.

"Then, I guess I’m lucky? Hm, I dont really know." I said and went upstairs.

"As a reward for having a perfect score without studying for the hundreth time, we will go to a cafe." He said. I stared at him with plain eyes.

"I dont want to." I said and closed the door of my room.

"My treat." He said.

I immediately opened the door, saying,"Lets go!"

He just laughed at me. Shouldnt he be happy? This will be the first time that I will go somewhere with my brother.

Now, I'm in a cafe and all of the people there thought that me and my stupid older brother is a couple. Really? A couple? Me and Rinto? Even if we are not siblings- never.

I looked around and saw Len-san? No way, he got skinny just in the short period of the summer break. That’s what I call hard working.

"Waaaah!" He dashed towards the guy's comfort room.

What’s with him? Acting weird again. He really is cute, even if he is not that chubby anymore. Well, I have to admit it, the chubby him is a lot cuter.

I wonder if he noticed that I am in here.

"Rin, what are you looking at?" Rinto asked.

"Ah, nothing. Just thinking about the new chapter of the new manga I’m reading." I said as an excuse.

Minutes after that, Len-san came out with his hair looking all shiny. Did he put hair gel in that? He looks kinda cool now. Maybe I kinda like him.

Next day is the end of summer break. I should confess my feelings to her and maybe my dream will come true. Maybe.

On school, after dismissal, I was walking down the hallways, trying to find the teacher’s office. Eah, I know it is pretty stupid, but I actually forgot where is it like everytime.

So, again, as I was walking, I heard a loud thud.

"Ouch..." I heard a voice say. So it is a person. I turned my head towards the direction where the noise came from.

It was Len-san. He is on the floor, but he hurriedly stood up as if it was just nothing.

"Len-san? You should go home now." I said and smiled. He looked like he’s.....nervous?

I dont know. Maybe he is sick? Why isnt he going home yet? Thoughts flooded my mind and before I knew it, Len-san said something.

"I like you!" He said out of the blue. And now, my face is nothing but a shade of bright pink.

"Sorry, Rin-san. Its okay if you wont give me a reply or anything. I know you already have a boyfriend. I just want to tell you my feelings so-" He is talking so much, so I talked too.

"I like you too." I said, stopping him from talking about all that negative things.

"Eh? But dont you have a boyfriend....?" He asked, making me laugh.

"What boyfriend? The one with me on the cafe? No! That’s my brother!" I laughed.

"Eh? Is that so..." He scratched the back of his head.

"I like you." I said.

"What? You said it again." He said.

"Is it bad?" I asked.

"No, I like it." He said.

"Which?" I asked.

"You." He said, making me blush.
