Izuku's POV

It's the sports festival! I've been watching these things since I was young! They were so much fun to watch! I can't wait to pummel everyone to the ground! (Cue sadistic grinning/ smirking). Since I'm Nezu's personal student, he wanted me to explore what everyone's quirks are and make some new friends! I'm currently in 1-A's changing room to change since having another room just for me is weird and costly, though, I doubt Nezu couldn't not afford it and just wanted me in here to cause more drama. That Rat Satan will get it one day!

Nezu shivering coincidentally in his seat in the teacher booth.

"Midoriya."

"Ah, yes Todoroki?"

"I just wanted to say from the point of view power wise...I'm stronger than you and I will beat you. I'll beat you with my ice and prove to my father that I'm better than any of you."

"Todobro! We can't start a fight in the middle of the changing room! It's unmanly!"

"Kirishima is right, you know! This is just plain rude!" Iida says.

"Nonono, it's fine Iida! I'm okay with such a declaration!"

I start grinning very maliciously and slyly and then say, "I hope you don't disappoint because this is the sports festival after all! There are many people watching and taking note of what everyone is doing! You better give it your all and this includes everyone! It is just not a one person effort, it is a whole group effort! You better use your whole power though...or else!"

Everyone was scared out of their wits while Bakugo was staring at me like he was staring at a ghost.

"Tch...if anyone is not going to use their whole power they better drop out!" exclaims Bakugo.

"That is somewhat correct! If you don't use your whole power, expect me to give you double the homework this month!" I say.

All of a sudden, there was an announcement announcing 1-A to the stadium.

"Guess it's your guys' turn to head out! See you in the stadium!" I say.

"Why aren't you coming to Midoriya?" Iida asks.

"I am Nezu's personal student! They will be announcing me separately!"

"Oh...okay! Good luck out there Midoriya!"

"Same to you too!"

After a while, I'm announced to go out.

My nerves are telling me no, but I have to do this! I'm going to win the whole festival!

I head out and am met with a huge stadium filled to the brim with people. I kept a brave face and started heading to where all the students were.

"AND NOW! NEZU'S PERSONAL STUDENT IZUKU MIDORIYA! HE WILL BE REPRESENTING CLASS 1-N!"

I heard many whispers talking about me being Nezu's personal student. Some were asking about my quirk and some were asking how I got to be that demonic rat's student. Midnight started talking about how the festival worked and had the opening ceremony and then suddenly, I heard my name and afterward "is making a speech to welcome everyone".

Oh no! I have the speech ready and all, but I'm so afraid to get up there...NO! I'm Izuku Midoriya! I need to get up there and make everyone proud!

I start heading up and keep my brave face on. I started getting it together.

"Now, here we have Izuku Midoriya! Nezu's personal student and also a teacher here to open up the sports festival!" Midnight announces.

Breath in and breathe out.

I get handed the microphone and start off by saying, "Hello everyone and welcome to the First Year's Sports Festival! Today we have all the students of the first year here to show off their talents whether it be their heroic spirit, their inventions, their betting strategies, or their feistiness to get into the hero course! It doesn't matter if you have a weak quirk or a no quirk at all, everyone is here today to give it their all and to show what they got! I want each and everyone of you to give it your all and go beyond... PLUS ULTRA!"

Everyone was standing and giving me a standing ovation! It was so nerve wracking, but amazing at the same time!

"That was a beautiful speech from Izuku Midoriya! Now moving on! The first event!"

A spinner started spinning while I got down the stage. It landed on...Obstacle Course!

"An obstacle course! Here are the rules! The track is 4 kilometers and runs from the right side of the stadium to the left! Your goal is to get back here as one of the forty-two contestants first and then you will move on to the next event! Anything goes and quirks are allowed! No killing, and sabotage is allowed! Okay, head to the starting line and get ready!"

With this began the First Year's Sports Festival! One that would go down in history!
