|17|End Of The War|

'Where are you, Larceny?!'

Midoriya thought as he ducked behind all the trunks and boxes in an attempt to avoid Bakugou's constant explosive attacks. Bakugou was attacking him with continuous blasts without giving a second thought to the burning papers, cardboard and wooden boxes in the attic. He was mad angry. Why wouldn't he be? He, Katsuki Bakugou, losing the Civil War against that pathetic Deku and his shitty team? No. The thought enraged him. It fueled his rage. He wasn't going to accept defeat. Even though, he knew that the Villains have secured their victory. But there was still hope that he would, somehow, stop them from securing the last and the seventh objective.

When Bakugou was returning to the base with the others, he saw many civilian-bots on the ground, broken and destroyed. Villains were way ahead of him and his team. Back there he realized why he and Midoriya were chosen for such positions. Bakugou was supposed to learn. Midoriya was supposed to show what he learned. Bakugou was supposed to be a calm and strategic leader. He wasn't just supposed to beat the shit out of his team in those five days. He was supposed to get close to them. Make everybody feel like they were a team. He was supposed to lead them. Not boss them. But now it was too late, he lost. He could see his defeat in front of him.

All the systems were down. The Heroes were all trapped in Mineta's traps. There was this Villain trying to secure the last objective. Who knows if there were more Villains hiding in the base. He couldn't think about anything else. Bakugou could only use force now. And he did. With his constant attacks — which were driving him close to his limit — he didn't let the Villain get close.

Midoriya, on the other hand, was having some problems dealing with hiding his identity but he realized that Bakugou was nearly on his limit. But he also knew that his childhood friend wasn't going to stop, even if he was on his limit. All he could do now, was to wait for his teammates to take the next step of his plan.

"Jeez, did he really have to place them everywhere? Mezzo, where to?!" Monoma asked as he walked in the hallways of the Hero Team's base, watching for Mineta's traps everywhere on the ground. Jiro, behind him, plugged one of her earphone jacks in a wall to detect the location of their Villain Leader.

"They're in the attic!" Jiro replied after tracking Midoriya and Bakugou's location with her quirk.

"I'll go and assist him!! You get Bulwark!!" Monoma exclaimed as he sped up. Jiro, who was right behind him, nodded and went off in a different direction. She had to find Todoroki. She wished Shinsou would've reached Hatsume by now. Otherwise the team might end up dead.

Soon enough, with the help of her quirk, Kyoka Jiro found Todoroki in an empty room standing partially confused as he rubbed his head and looked around.

'Crap.' Jiro thought, 'Looks like the effect of Shinsou's brainwashing wore off!! Now what?' Jiro asked herself as she hid herself behind the wall, opposite to the room where Todoroki was. Todoroki, on the other hand, used his fire side to illuminate the room. He wondered why were all the lights off? Actually, he wondered what happened? He didn't remember anything clearly. The last thing he knew was that he was fighting against Shiozaki and then Tsunotori called out his name. After that he didn't have a clear memory. His mind was still filled with fog. But he did have some idea.

The Villains were in the base...

Shinsou was walking down the hallways of UA faculty with a determined look in his tired purple eyes.

'It's time.' He thought as he walked towards the Support Lab. He just escaped the faculty robots telling him to see Recovery Girl like all other eliminated students before doing anything else. But he couldn't stop. He wasn't done yet. He had to get to Hatsume quick. With his excuse of using the restroom, he managed to slip away from the attention. And now, he could see the door of the Support Lab a few feet away from him. But before he could even get close to the door, it was flung opened by Hatsume herself.

"What took you so long?!" The pink haired girl exclaimed and pulled the boy in, dragging him by his wrist. Clearly, she was also worried for the team. Then she closed the door behind and went towards the centre table which was filled by different types of Support Items. The girl took out a small sized communicator from the messy table and gave it to Shinsou.

"Here you go. This baby connects to Todoroki's communicator. When you'll activate it, nobody else would be able to communicate to him except you. I've fixed a special system in it so that your brainwashing quirk will work without any trouble. That's all you need to know about it. I believe you know what to do now." Hatsume stated.

Shinsou nodded and then he placed the small device on his ear and turned it on.

"Time for some ice, Heroes." He smirked.

Tsuburaba was running down the hallways of the Hero Team's base. The noise of the explosions still hadn't stopped. Monoma was still not with Midoriya. And that worried him. On his way, he saw Asui on a wall. The frog girl wasn't trapped at all! It was a good thing for Tsuburaba that he pulled on the green hood of Midoriya's costume as soon as he saw her. If she was here then it meant that there are some Heroes still free and they were all on his tail.

"There you are, ribbit!" Asui exclaimed as she jumped on the floor, looking at the boy in disguise. She thought he was the Villain Leader which was a good thing for him.

Tsuburaba quickly turned around and sprinted across the hallway, taking the stairs to go down a level as Asui followed him. She wondered that why wasn't he using his quirk to speed up?

Once down the level, Tsuburaba saw Jiro standing against a wall. The room beside her was illuminated by what looked like fire. Was that Todoroki?!

"Mezzo...!!" Tsuburaba whispered to her. Thankfully, due to her quirk, Jiro heard him loud and clear and turned towards him. Just as the two reached closer and Jiro was about to say something, Asui showed up coming down from the stairs.

"No more running for you two, ribbit." Asui said as she reached her laser gun and was ready to aim at them. Back in the room, Todoroki heard her.

'That's Asui and there are two other Villains right outside. I'll just have to—!' Todoroki's thoughts were interrupted by his communicator.

"Don't you feel a little guilty, Todoroki?" Shinsou's voice came from the communicator.

"Huh? What are yo—?!" Todoroki replied without a second thought and got caught in Shinsou's brainwashing.

"Freeze up the building." Shinsou commanded him. Todoroki, mindlessly, obeyed his command and pressed his right foot against the floor, activating his ice quirk. As soon as the ice began to spread throughout the building, Tsuburaba told Jiro to jump in the air. As she jumped, Tsuburaba used his quirk to create a solid-air platform underneath her feet, in midair.

"What? How!?" Asui asked as she saw him jump in the air and create a platform for himself so that both of the Villains wouldn't get caught in the ice. Though, when he jumped, Tsuburaba's mask was pulled off and now Asui could see his face. He wasn't Midoriya.

Asui was about to inform the rest of the Heroes about the identity crisis but the low temperature caught her and she dropped to the floor, panting heavily. Unknown to her, the few Heroes that were on the hunt for the Villain Leader were now all caught up in Todoroki's ice.

Midoriya saw the attic's walls, floor and ceiling cover up with ice. The building froze from top to bottom, in and out. Bakugou looked like a deer caught in headlights. The only one who could freeze up the building was Todoroki and he has been missing from a long while.

'What is that bastard doing?!!' Bakugou mentally yelled. He then prepared another explosion. A huge one with both of his hands as he tried aimed at the boy hiding behind the junk in the room. But just before he could release the explosion from his gloved palms, he heard a new voice from behind.

"Here's the last call's last minute, leader!!!" Monoma's voice interrupted him and turned back on instinct. But then his explosions were... all gone?

Monoma stood there, on the door, with red eyes and floating hair and a wide smirk as he looked at Bakugou. Monoma saved a minute from Aizawa's quirk just like Midoriya told him to and now Bakugou couldn't attack. Midoriya, on the other hand, came out of his hiding spot before another reaction could come up and swiped up the green card whilst eliminating his spiky blonde rival with the laser gun, winning with a perfect score.

But when he came out, his identity was revealed as the half-burnt mask dropped to the ground. But he didn't care about it now as the Civil War was over. And Team Villains have won it.

Once the events of UA's Civil War were all over, all the remaining students were escorted to Recovery Girl's office in groups of four. Thankfully, no one got serious injuries and the worst of what could've happened to the students was flu. Nearly the entire Hero Team had a temperature.

Meanwhile, a few designated students were called to the Principal's office were all the teachers of UA were present. These students were; a smiling Midoriya, a fuming Bakugou, a guilty Todoroki and a proud Shinsou.

"First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your Team's amazing victory, Midoriya. Your clever skills really made this year's Civil War good enough for me to treasure." Nezu said while the green haired boy blushed and thanked him.

"I will like to know about your role much more, Todoroki. What exactly were you doing?" Aizawa questioned the hetrochromatic teenager. Except for Todoroki, Shinsou gave away the answer.

"I brainwashed him. He was just doing what I told him to." Shinsou replied as Aizawa nodded in reply.

"And I believe that you learned something new, huh, Bakugou?" Midnight asked. Bakugou didn't reply at all but he did slightly nodded in reply while gritting his teeth in anger. After all, Midoriya did defeat him without using his quirk. And that he didn't like.

"Midoriya, Todoroki and Bakugou can leave now." Snipe said as both of the said boys left the office. Once they were gone, Shinsou was the center of attention of the teachers.

"Now, Young Shinsou, why did you risk yourself when you could have called out for Young Yaoyorozu for the sixth objective? Care to share?" All Might asked.

"I knew this was my transfer test for the Hero Course but it didn't seem rational to me to leave my teammates for my own good. If I ever did that then how am I supposed to call myself a Hero? I did what looked right to me. And... I don't think I passed at all but still I'm thankful that you gave me an opportunity. It was really... good in those five days we trained together. Thank you. But I'm sorry that I failed you." Shinsou stated, looking down.

"This year is quite a special one, don't you think? For an instance, Hitoshi Shinsou, do you know that there are now officially 41 students in the Hero Course this year?" Nezu asked with his signature smile.

The boy looked up at him, surprised.

"Welcome to the Hero Course, kid. You'll start your lessons tomorrow with Class-1-A."
