Captain Ramirez POV..

'Darkness...that is all I see...wait I feel something on my hands'

I feel the ground and found out I was laying face down on the floor. I got up and remembered why I was on the floor.

"Oh yeah a bomb hit the ship and...wait." I look at my surroundings and saw that I was on the Observation post on the Arizona which I thought had been blown up. Then I remembered that we were being attacked and I was taking cover on the floor when the bomb hit.

3rd person...

Soon Captain Ramirez found himself and many sailors, Marines and Army members on the USS Arizona with nothing but darkness and calm seas around them. However there was also a PT boat right next to them on the Port side of the Battleship.

It was very dark and hard to see anything, but luckily there was a full moon shining some light down to the men on the 2 vessels. After doing a count of everyone on the battleship and PT boat it was totaled that there were 1,115 men 13 of which crewed the PT boat. Then the PT boat came alongside the battleship and the commander climbed aboard where he saw Captain Ramirez standing there waiting for him. 

"Well I didn't expect to find you here waiting for me." The PT Commander said.

"Well whenever we make introductions I feel we need to be face to face for that." Captain Ramirez remarked. "Anyways I'm captain Reiketsu Ramirez of the USS Arizona."

"I am Lieutenant junior grade John F. Kennedy of PT-109." Lieutenant Kennedy replied as the 2 shook hands. 

They then had to figure out where they were after introductions were over thanks to the moonlight they had over them. Kennedy soon went back to his PT boat and the lookouts were on the tallest structure of Arizona looking in all directions to see if they could find any land any where. 

Time skip...

Soon one of the lookouts spotted a faint light in the distance and it looked like there was land there. Soon the Mechanics and engineers started up the engines and soon the boilers in Arizona were making power. Soon they sailed to where the light was shining hopping that there was land there. But what they didn't know is that they were sailing to a terrorist organization hideout that was hiding some criminals.
