Part 7

Arnav's mind was totally clouded by the thought of khushi's refusal about his phone. What if she gave explanation about it? He is not in the state of mind to take it easy." THE PHONE". Isn't a special character in their story? Yes something is flashing in his mind to take back to his memories.....

FLASH BACK

GH

Khushi: Yes I'm Miss.Gupta.

Delivery boy: Mam this is for you. From AR.

He gave her a parcel and left. She opened the parcel and found a latest model Iphone. She was excited for the sudden gift from Arnav. She removed her SIM card from her old phone and put it in to it immediately. After she logged in the phone started ringing. Obviously the call was from Arnav.

Khushi: Maamu...

Arnav: Khushi, I love you.(pause) Good Night.( he hang the call. Leaving bewildered khushi.) She can't believe that Arnav really told that to her. At first she is excited about his sudden gift and add to it he said that to her? Like really? Khushi didn't get the courage to call him back to ask that what he said was true or not. She herself was not sure, what really she feels right now. Finally she consoled herself that it must be fun and drift into sleep not taking it seriously.

Next morning in RM.

Arnav returned from his morning jog and got alarmed seeing Khushi earlier in RM.

Anjali: chotte what Khushi said is true?

NK: Naanav mere bhai, come on tell us, was it true. You said I love you?

Arnav( looking at khushi without any expression): Are you mad? Crazy Girl.( he went to his room to fresh in up)

Everyone got disappointed while Khushi was angry.

Khushi: Lard Governer Kahi ka..... I know he is making fun. I won't talk to him. Can't he say that he did it for fun? I know what to do with this Lard Governer.( she left RM furiously)

After getting ready to office Arnav came to the dining,

Arnav(smiling): Di, where is Khushi?

Anjali: She left chotte.

Arnav: What the....

Mami: Hello hai bye bye Arnav bituwa, she is upset with you, so she left.

Arnav tried her number but she didn't respond. It made Arnav closed his eyes and gulped. He left his breakfast in between and went off didn't gave ears to Anjali's plead.

He tried numerous times but she was adamant. He can't take it anymore. Taking his car key left to her home. When he reached GH, he saw some of Shashi Gupta's Business partner's cars parked in the vicinity. This is not the right time to go inside as everyone present there is well known to him. But he wants to talk to her. He tried her number one last time otherwise he will go by back side. He called. This time she picked.

Arnav: Don't you dare. What are you thinking about me Damn it? Like a mad fellow, I was trying your number from the morning. You are not even mind to answer me?What the hell Khushi? (he sensed she was silent.) Khushi... Khushi are you ok.

Khushi: Go, I won't talk to you. You made fun of me. And now as if you didn't do anything you are shouting at me?

Arnav(calming himself): Khushi I'm sorry. I didn't make fun. Whatever I told is true. Really I love you. Ok?

Khushi: Really?

Arnav: Won't you believe me?

Khushi: OK.(she cut the call. And without any option Arnav left to AR as he had lots of work to do)

Evening when he came to RM everyone is smiling at him mockingly. He sat on the couch and asked for coffee. It's khushi who brought coffee for him. He can sense something was cooking and he was sure what that was. Waiting him to finish his coffee NK and Akashi took his side and hold him like they are getting ready for some war, and Arnav looking at them like what the...

Khushi turned her mobile's speaker on and played the recorded one which is recorded, while Arnav confessed. She is standing with her one hand in her hip and another holding her phone. But for their surprise Arnav didn't make any move to come out of NK and Akash's grip. After hearing that he simply stood and looking at khushi constantly.

Giving her a look, like "DONE?" Arnav left to his room. Everyone was standing like a statue, actually what was happening?

Khushi rushed to his room. she heard while entering

Arnav: Happy?

Khushi: Didn't you make it for fun?(he nodded no.) But you asked me "are you Mad? " and also said "Crazy girl"?

Arnav: Then what? I expected you to ask me in person. But You? Khushi kumara Gupta, Can't you keep anything personally, just between US?(He gently hold her upper arm and made her face him.)

Khushi: Are....You....

Arnav: Damn serious.( khushi got panic) we know very well that we love each other. Don't you think this is high time to confess it verbally? I think it's enough of waiting. But you are free to say your ideas khushi.

She was about to leave but Arnav caught hold of her hand and dragged her close to him.

Arnav(smirking): Don't try to run away from me.

Khushi: Didn't you say that I'm free to do anything?

Arnav(with lop sided smile): You are free to do anything, doesn't mean that you are free to do anything.

Khushi( jaw dropped): Haun.. This is cheating.

Arnav(in husky tone): So what if it is cheating? I won't mind to do it for my entire life to get you.

Khushi: But....i....(suddenly she changed her face reaction and screamed in his ears to go deaf.) I LOVE YOU TOO LARD GOVERNER.( saying she ran out of his room leaving behind blushing Arnav. That's when he heard another scream, this time not from one but from the whole family.)

"We had seen"........

Arnav: what the... what you guys saw?

NK: "Your blush" Naanav.(which was made him more blush while suppressing his lips.)

Anjali: Chotte really is it you?

Mamiji: Hello hai bye bye Arnav bituwa finally you confessed. Thanks to Devi Maiya.(everyone looking at her like Do you know this?) Arrey why are you looking at me like I'm an alien. Don't you guys know Arnav bituwa loves khushi?

NK: somehow we know ma but we can't take it till Naanav say it by himself.

Akash: And the problem is Bhai never say anything openly.

Payal(smilingly): Now he cleared it totally. What next?

La: Going to KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA'S house for asking her hand for Arnav Bhai, right?

Anjali(excitedly): My God, my chotte is getting married. I want to tell this to shyamji. He will be damn happy.

Aranv: Guys don't you think you are over reacting? Let us live like lovers some days.

NK: As if you were not like that before.

Anjali: But please don't take more time chotte.

NK: So we will see the KHADOOS romancing?

Arnav: Think whatever you want. Now just leave.

Anjali(teasingly): why chotte? Want to talk to khushi?

Arnav: Di....

Mami: ok. Enough. Come on everyone. (they left)

Khushi is smiling and listening the recorded voice of Arnav again and again. Though she did this for fun but she never thought it would turns like this. Which made her think that what if she will record every conversation of them? Not for fun. It feels really good to hear....
