"What the fuck is a level one zombie?!" Coach Ukai gritted his teeth in frustration as he vigilantly looked at the zombie infront of them who was slowly making its way towards them like an animal hunting its prey...

"According to my knowledge. Level one zombies have some kind of like animal instinct unlike you're average zombies...

They are agile and can perceive danger." Narita explained with nervous agitation..

"Damn it! I'm so scared!" Nishinoya's hands were trembling that he almost let go of the golf stick he was holding..

"Don't worry....Fear is normal..." Ennoshita felt tense every time the level one zombie takes a step..

"Whats the plan?!" Kageyama hurriedly asks.

"Simple. Kill it." Kita simply said.

While they were talking, Shoyo tied a blanket around him and Natsu who was laying on his back so she won't fall off. (Have you watched Grave Of The Fireflies? There was a part where the mc placed his sister on his back and tied a blanket or something around them so she wouldn't fall off as he ran)

"Narita-kun, you seemed to know a lot about these stuff. What do we do??" Takeda-sensei asked with cold sweat..

"...Well....In order to defeat a level one zombie....We'll have someone distract it while trying to strike using its blind spots to be safe from being scratched or bitten....Or, a more safer option...We need an ability user to defeat it."

Everyone turned towards Shoyo.

"Don't worry! I can do this!" Shoyo huffed with confidence!

"We really need to get stronger fast so we won't have to rely on Hinata..." Kinoshita smiles weakly..

"You're right.." Kiyoko agreed.

Shoyo tied the blanket around him and Natsu even more tighter. He started to jump up and down.

"Nii-chan.." Natsu called out in nervousness..

"You'll have to hold on tightly Natsu!"

Natsu did what he said and closed her eyes. Shoyo started sprinting without warning.

"OI SHRIMPY! BE CAREFUL!" Coach Ukai shouted.

"I KNOW OLD MAN!"

The zombie also sprinted towards Shoyo. Once they were near each other, Shoyo took out an army knife and sliced it to the level one zombie.

But the zombie dodged by ducking. It hopped to the side and then sprinted back to Shoyo leaving a damaged floor.

'Tch!' Shoyo gritted his teeth in annoyance!

Shoyo kept slicing and slicing but the zombie will dodge and dodge in return. Shoyo felt that the zombie is playing with him...And it made him even more annoyed! Like a cat and mouse.

Shoyo once again tried to slice the zombie, and of course it dodged. But it didn't anticipate what was coming to him next...

"YOU ANNOYING FUCK!"

Shoyo disregarded the knife and just punched the zombie causing its head to fly over to the wall! The wall cracked and blood splattered everywehere. The poor head fell down to the ground with a Thud!

The remaining body kept flailing its arms around as it cannot see. Its neck was gushing out black blood causing it to stain its clothes.

Shoyo kicked it to the stomach gently and it fell down. Then it stopped moving.

Shoyo hmphed. Finally, its dead. Shoyo took the knife from the floor and went over to the head. He stabbed the top of its head and sliced it open. He brought his hand inside, making squishy and wet noises as the blood flowed to the floor, then he took out a different colored crystal.

It was blue this time, not red.

"Nii-chan....That was gross.." Natsu's face looked disgusted. Natsu seemed accustomed to this sight already, but she would sometimes feel grossed out. Because when the bandits kidnapped her and her Mom, they would force Natsu and her Mom to fight off the zombies themselves.

And Natsu doesn't have a choice but to forcefully be accustomed to it. She was still a child. And yet she has to deal with such a hard life.

"Yeah, you'll also have to get stronger Natsu. Because If I suddenly disappear, I won't be able to protect you" Shoyo wiped the blue crystal and put it inside his already full pouch. He should find a bigger storage.

"...Nii-chan won't disappear! Sniff....I don't want Nii-chan to disappear like Mommy..." Natsu hugged Shoyo's neck.

Shoyo's eyes turned gentle and patted Natsu's head with his clean hand. "Yeah, I won't disappear. I would never disappear! You're Nii-chan is strong after all!"

"...Promise?"

"I promise"

'I won't die anyways since I'm like immortal.'

Karasuno looked at the dead level one zombie.

"Are we safe now...?" Yachi nervously asked..

Kita stepped up and looked at the distance with vigilance. "No. We're still not finished."

"What?!" Nishinoya couldn't help but tremble...Narita patted Nishinoya's back in comfort.

"We're doomed." Narita calmly said.

The growling of zombies and the marching of feet can be heard from outside their building. They can't tell how many zombies are out there. But what they do know, is that there is plenty.

"Its a zombie herd.." Sugawara uttered out, there was fear in his tone.

"Fuck..! We need to leave!" Coach Ukai quickly ushered his group to the stairs that was in the distance.

This building was huge. There was so much space it could fit a thousand people. And the nearby stairs was a hundred steps, so it will take awhile for them to arrive.

The zombies were already banging at the glass windows and doors, trying to get inside.

And they were able to. Six level one zombies ran towards them, while the normal zombies were walking stiffly.

Karasuno were running as fast as they can. Yachi who doesn't have much stamina fell behind the group, but fortunately Kiyoko was there to help her out.

"...Th-Thank you K-Kiyoko-san!" Yachi cried out.

"No worries. I would never leave you behind"

Yachi sniffled as Kiyoko dragged her back to the group.

"WE'RE HALFWAY THERE!" Takeda-sensei shouted in delight while panting from all the running.

Kinoshita glanced at his back and saw that the level one zombies were getting closer to them!

Kinoshita screeched in fear! "G-GUYS!!! THOSE LEVEL ONE ZOMBIES ARE CATCHING UP!!!"

Kageyama, Shoyo and Coach Ukai looked back.

"OH FUCK— RUN! RUN FASTER! ME AND HINATA WILL SLOW THEM DOWN!" Coach Ukai lagged behind the group as he took out a metal baseball bat.

Shoyo quickly unties the blanket around him and Natsu. He passed Natsu to Kita.

"Kita-san. Can you babysit my sister for awhile?" Shoyo awkwardly laughs.

Kita nodded with seriousness. While Natsu was trying to break free from Kita's arms. "ONII-CHAN!!! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!!" She cried out.

Shoyo kissed her forehead and said with a gentle and reassuring tone "Don't worry. I'll be back" he then went to Coach Ukai's side to help with slowing down the level one zombies.

"ONII-CHAN!!!"

Karasuno was getting further and further away. Kita tried his best to harden his heart as he hears Natsu crying out for Shoyo.

"You alright Coach?" Shoyo asked as he fights with five level one zombies from all sides. He wonders why these level one zombies knows that he's an enemy, when he's a zombie himself.

Instinct perhaps?

Coach Ukai was having a hard time with one zombie, how can Shoyo deal with five??? "Now you're not calling me old man??"

"What? You want me to call you that?" Shoyo kicked a zombie that jumped towards him. Then he pivots to stab another zombie's head. He slashed upwards, splitting its head into two halves.

Coach Ukai dodged when the zombie was about to scratch him "No way!" Then he slammed the metal baseball bat to its head. Its head left a dent, its eyeballs fell out from its sockets and the tongue was cut off.

"Need any help kid?!" Coach Ukai kicked the dead zombie and looked towards Shoyo's direction.

"No need! I can deal this myself!"

Shoyo already killed two level one zombies. Now three are left.

"Don't get too cocky just because you're strong!"

"Shut up old man!"

"Ugh whatever! Don't be afraid to bail out!"

~Miyagi Prefecture~

"Hey...Do you think this radio will still work..?" Tendou asks.

Semi took the radio and turned it in every angle to see if theres any damages "It will. It just needs some batteries."

"Where the hell we'll we get, batteries??" Shirabu sighed. People from this place already ransacked all the shops and super markets. So it will be hard to find batteries. Since batteries are very important.

"Maybe theres still some places we haven't looked into yet. It won't hurt to double check" —Reon.

"Reon-senpai is right!" Goshiki nodded vigorously. "And if we're lucky to find nice people, maybe we could trade if they have batteries with them. After all, we've got lots of endless food!"

"Yeah. What Goshiki said. But if we want to go outside again. We'll have to be careful. People these days aren't the same anymore." —Soekawa.

Semi gently placed down the radio "En. They would do anything to get what they need. And we have what they need."

"But they shouldn't steal from us!~ Because, they could just join our base, and once they join. They could eat to their hearts content!~ IF they'd accept the jobs they're assigned to~" Tendou grins as he plays with a Volleyball. He smiles with nostalgia.

"We should assign someone else to scout the area just to be safe." Shirabu suggested.

"En. What do you think Ushijima-san?" —Reon.

Everyone in Shiratorizawa turned their heads to Ushijima. Ushijima silently ponders for awhile.

Ushijima is the leader of this base. And their base is actually the Shiratorizawa Academy. When the apocalypse started, Ushijima and the rest quickly lead the people to this school.

Everyone helped each other out to make this place safe as possible from the zombies. And they successfully did.

Then this base is now well known for its strong security and their endless food supply. People could live with ease in Shiratorizawa.

But, everything is not free here. The people that will join this base will be assigned a job. Even children aren't left out. Everything is always fair in this place.

The people understood and did their jobs with no complaints.

"Whats you're decision Ushijima-san?" Semi asked.

Ushijima looked at them. "Yes. Lets send people out."

Tendou placed the Volleyball on the floor "Then its decided!~"
