Shoyo's POV

Uwaaahhh!!! It's finally here! The day I've been waiting for! The Spring Tournament!

In my first Volleyball Tournament...I would get so nervous that I would puke and my tummy won't be feeling well!

But now....It's different! I'm so excited I can't stop smiling!!

"Oi Boke Hinata Boke! Stop with that stupid smile of yours!"

My friend, Tobio Kageyama said to me with his usual grumpy face.

"Humph! I can't help it Bakageyama!"

"It seems that our Sunshine is really excited huh, Not the same as last time?"

Koushi Sugawara, my Senpai who taught me a lot of things said to me with a smile.

"Of course Suga-san!" I smiled at him.

"It's a good thing your not puking anymore, but just in case, stand at least ten meters away from me."

Said my Salty teammate!

"Shut up Salty Dino!" I stick my tongue out then stomp my way inside the gymnasium.

"Oi!!! Boke Hinata Boke! Wait for me! Geez!" Kageyama then ran after me.

"What the hell did he just call me?"

"Salty Dino!" Tanaka and Nishinoya snickers.

"Let's all just go inside now okay?" Said our Captain, Daichi Sawamura.

"Osu!!"

Everyone is now inside the gym preparing for our game. But......Why do I feel dizzy...?

I brought my hand towards the wall for support, when suddenly Suga-san looks at me worriedly as well as everyone else.

"Are you okay Hinata?" Asked Suga-san as he held me.

"You look so red my Kouhai!" Tanaka-senpai stated as Noya-san nodded.

"I......"

I rub my head because it was starting to hurt a bit.

"Boke...." Kageyama walks toward me and put his hand on my forehead, then he suddenly widened his eyes.

"Boke feels very hot...."

"What?!" Sugawara exclaimed "Hinata!....We should go to the Doctor!"

"It's okay Suga-san.......I'm fi.......ne...." Then suddenly my vision went black.

...............

"...In......ata!......"

"...S....o....yo!.."

I can only hear faint noises....It sounds like they were worried..

"...C....ll.......A...m.....la...ce!"

....My consciousness is fading away again....Don't worry, I'll be okay...I'm just gotta have to sleep for a bit because I'm so tired...

Hnnn......It so soft....What's this?...Am I laying down on a bed?
Am I in my room?

Oh wait!....Me and my Team are supposed to prepare for our game! But.....What happened after that?....

Hnnnnn.....

Oh, right. I passed out.

Urgghhhh.....How can that be?! I was so excited to play!!!

"Shoyo...."

Huh? It sounds like Kenma.

"I'm visiting because I heard you passed out and had a high fever."

"I was worried.."

Awwwwwee....Kenma! I'm so happy that you visited me! But wait, why am I still not awake??

Am I sleeping?? No, If I'm sleeping then I won't be able to think like this!
Okay, wake up now Shoyo Hinata!!

I slowly open my eyes and look at my side to see Kenma so close to my face

"Oh, Kenma, Hello.." I greeted in a whisper.

Then Kenma backs away hurriedly and hid his face with his hair.

Huh?? What's wrong with him? Is he okay?

"Kenma?"

I sat up. "Are you okay?"

"Ah...Shoyo...You shouldn't sit yet.."
Kenma then pushed me back to lay down.

"Are you visiting me?" I asked.

"Yeah....I...I heard that you passed out so....." Kenma averts his eyes.

"I'm so happy that you visited me!" I smiled at Kenma who turned red suddenly. But really, I'm really grateful for him to visit me like this even though Kenma might be busy.

"Kenma??! Are you sick?! Oh no! This is all my fault!"

"No no....It's not....I'm not sick...So anyways....Here."

"Hn?"

I look down and saw Kenma holding a tablet towards me.

I took it. "Whats this for?" I asked.

"It's Kamomedai vs Karasuno, I wanted you to watch their game considering....You can't go there..." Kenma scratches his cheek awkwardly.

I widen my eyes then smiled happily.

"Kenma!!....Your the best!" I sat up and hugged him, he was stiff at first but then relaxes and hugged me back as well.

I let go then look down at the tablet and saw my Team playing with Kamomedai. It seems that it's already in the second set.

"Hoshiumi." Kenma suddenly said.

"Huh?" I look up at him in confusion.

"Hoshiumi.....He said that, next year. He will beat you in the next Volleyball Tournament."

I was silent for awhile then smiled widely. "Hehehe" I laughed.

Kenma also seems to smile a bit. But maybe its just my imagination.

Me and Kenma then continues to watch the ongoing game..

I was now laying on my bed while staring at the white ceiling.

My Team lost, but I'm not sad. I just felt, new. I feel so refreshed for some reason. But I don't mind this feeling.

Kenma had to go back, he said that my team will visit me later, so now I'm all alone, well. For now.

I'm so bored.....I have nothing else to do....I have my phone with me but the battery is empty because I didn't bring my charger.....

I'm alone in this room but there's alot of beds here. Maybe they don't have that many patients in this Hospital...

Then I heard the door knock.

"Come in!"

The nurse opens the door and told me I have visitors, I beamed when I saw my teammates!

"Hey guys!"

"SHOOYOOOO!! I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU!!"

Noya-san ran towards me and hugged me as gentle as he could as to not hurt me.

"Oi Noya! Stop that or you'll hurt Hinata!"

Daichi, our team captain shouted as he grabbed the collar of Noya-san's shirt.

Don't worry Captain, I'm not hurt.

"Boke Hinata boke!"

"Is that the only thing you could say to me Bakageyama?!"

I pouted at him, I was kinda hoping he would show worry for me...I shouldn't have expected anything from my stupid friend.

(Manju: Kageyama just got friendzoned without him knowing again 😧)

"Are you okay now Hinata?"

My nice senpai asked me with a worried expression.

Atleast Suga-san is worried for me..

"I'm fine Suga-san! The Nurse said I'll just need to rest for a few days then I'll be good as new!"

I pumped my fist making Suga-san chuckle.

"Well thats good to hear shrimpy, when you get back, I'll make you train even harder until you puke!"

I trembled at Coach Ukai's words.

Your making me train after my fever is gone?? You're heartless old man!

"You must be very bored being alone in here, so me, Kinoshita and Narita bought a book for you."

Ennoshita-san said to me as he gave me the book.

"Woahh! Thanks so much you three! You guys are the best!"

The three ita's smiles at me " Your welcome."

"Do you even understand the words that is written in that book shrimp?"

Cheh! Saltyshima is being salty again! Can't he be nice for once at least??

"Bleh!"

I just stuck my tongue out to him. And what do I got as a response?....He turned his head away from me!

Hmph! Rude!

"We also bought you snacks my dear kouhai! So eat up and recover fast 'kay??"

Heres my favorite senpai! Senpai your so nice! This is why your my favorite!

"Thanks Tanaka-senpai!"

"All of us will be waiting for your recovery Hinata-kun."

Takeda-sensei smiled as he said that. Geez....I really have the best teammates here.

"Hinata-kun! Do you wanna watch a video with me?"

Yamaguchi asks while I nodded my head.

"OH OH! I WANNA WATCH TOO!"

"I WANNA JOIN TOO!"

Both Tanaka-san and Noya-san shouted while raising their hand up like kids.

In the end, all of us just watched the video together. It was such a nice and fun time!

But now they have to leave....I'm kinda sad..But I know they'll be visiting me.

I bid them goodbye and now I'm the only person in this room.

A sigh came out of my mouth and I started to lay down.

Maybe I should sleep to pass time, I am tired after all so yeah....

..Good night....

I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep forgetting to turn off the T.V.

I don't know how long I have been sleeping...

It feels like I'm trapped in an empty void...I can't feel my body, or see anything. Maybe I'm still sleeping..But I wouldn't be able to think like this no?

My mind feels empty...And I can't feel my heartbeat..

In fact...I can't feel anything!

I'm scared— what do I do??? How do I wake up??

"..Haaaghhhh......"

What. Was. That??

It doesn't sound human at all!

"..Hangh....hngh....Namm..."

Are they eating?? Why are they eating like that?? Don't they now how eating etiquette works???

I need to try and move my body!..

Please move please move please move.....

Huh?

I felt my hand twitch. Good! Thats a good sign!

Now all I need to do is wake up, just open your eyes Shoyo...Open your eyes like you usually do when you wake up in the morning!

My eye twitches and then it slowly opened.

What the hell?? Its so dark! Did the nurse turned off the lights??

Huh? Oh wait, it suddenly turned bright...Hum...Thats weird..

I sat up on the bed and rub my eyes then looked around the room which I was slightly shocked by...

This room looks so dirty like it hasn't been cleaned in ages! Hospital needs to always be clean! Where are the cleaners?!

But whats really shocking to me is...The red stuff that is splattered on the floor and wall at the corner of my eye.

Its like there was someone getting murdered here...And it feels so eerie..I don't like it..

I stood up from my bed and looked down at the sheets surprised that I was laying on dried blood!

What the hell happened here when I was sleeping??

Then I walked towards the window and rolled up the curtains to see...A ghost like city..

What the....?

I look down to the ground since I was on the top floor.

And saw cars that looked like crashing against each other, and some gunshot holes in it.

Was there a terrorist attack here?? But...Shouldn't I have been dead then?

As I shifted my gaze to something...Or someone....I widened my eyes to see a dead person...His guts have been pulled out, his eyes and mouth were wide open like he was screaming until his death... It was such a horrifying sight..

My legs trembled and I wasn't able to utter a word since I was so scared..

"..Harrrnghhh....."

I turned around then covered my mouth...My legs gave up on me and I dropped to the ground trembling..

I saw a person....Eating another person....

They don't look like a person tho...He already looks like a dead guy, which he is since I could see his eye dangling out of his socket and their rotting flesh..

What the hell is happening....
