3 // Well, I'm Gonna Find Them, Don't You Worry

"You said they make fun of your body, humiliation in your eyes when you told me."

Location: Da LARPing Spot :P
^ ^ ^ YOUR POV ^ ^ ^

"You two made it!" Cory cheers as me and Gertrude walk out from the trees' shadows. Marina claps and cheers as well, being the overly cheerful human being she is (Hmmm . . . I wonder who Marina could be acting like?).

"Of course we'd come! Wouldn't miss it for the world! Ain't that right GT?" I say, pushing the short teenager playfully.

"Yeah! That's right . . ." She replies, trailing off, obviously having other thoughts. Simon adjusts his glasses, holding a wooden dagger. Cory held a long, wooden sword, while Tank held a thick stick.

"Shall we begin?" Simon asks us.

"Yeah!" We answer eagerly. Simon goes first.

"I am the Dragon King! I am the commander and ruler of all dragonkind, and the vast amount of petty humans that live among them." He announces, swinging a fist above his head.

"I am a valiant knight that fights against the Dragon King's authority in the Rebellion!" Toby shouts, going into a heroic pose.

"I am a good witch that uses my magic for good purposes within the Rebellion!" Mari tells us euphorically, jumping into the air.

"I am a ninja spy, working with the Rebellion and giving the information about the Dragon King's evil plans!" Gertrude laughs whole-heartedly. I raise an eyebrow. She was certainly eager to rise against Simon.

"And I am the Dragon Slayer. I am fearless and selfless, and commander of the Rebellion, in hope we can live in peace with the dragons, instead of in fear!" Cory explains, happily jabbing his sword into the air in front of him. Everyone looks at me, realizing I hadn't announced my occupation and position.

"What are you going to be Y/N?" Marina asks me curiously, speaking for everyone. I tap on the place my chin would be, if I had one. Noticing a long, thick-ish stick by a tree to my and Gertrude's left, I jogged over and snatched it off the ground. Then, I ran over and took my place beside Si—Er, the Dragon King.

"I am the majestic Dragon Warrior! I am half dragon and half human, and the most fearless warrior in the kingdom! Which leads to being promoted to the King's right hand woman!" I declare, chuckling evilly. I straightened my pink, ruffley skirt, ready for LIVE. ACTION. ROLE. PLAYING!

"Let's begin!" Tank shouts, an order we would all follow.

The Dragon King chuckles darkly, thinking of the many ways he could eliminate the one force standing in the way of him becoming the most powerful ruler in the world.

The Rebellion.

The Rebellion was lead by the other most powerful warrior, the Dragon Slayer, AKA Cory. He was the fearless commander of the Rebellion, keeping his heart in the light. Luckily, the Dragon King had his own, all powerful warrior.

The Dragon Warrior, AKA Y/N. Like the other title, this one sent a straightforward message to the enemy. She was 50% dragon, and 50% human, allowing her to have special abilities that benefit her in battle. She embraced the darkened side of the world, happily joining the Dragon King's forces to fight for her people.

He rubs his short beard, and heads to the meeting room to assemble his attack team.

Meanwhile, Cory and his main attack team were huddled over a map inside the the base camp's main tent.

"If we start here, we can have our army retreat, and unbeknownst to the enemy, circle back around through the Cursed Woods." Cory finishes explaining to the team. Sir Tank swallows down the last bite of his hambur—.

"Tank! They don't have hamburgers in dystopian worlds!" Gertrude complains, pouting.

"It doesn't matter!" Toby squeaks. "It's a roleplay! I can have hamburgers if I want them!"

"Why don't we just charge right on into the battle? We can hit them head on!" He objects, a determined look on the knight's face. Gertrude the Stealthy shakes her head, crossing her arms in a disapproving manner.

"Because Sir Tank," she sighs, attempting to reason with him, "We would almost immediately die." Cory nods, agreeing with the ninja completely.

"Ooh! I have an idea!" Announces the sorceress, Marina, a good witch from the Swamplands.

"For a short period of time, I can sweep a cloak of invisibility over the army! I'll do it just long enough for us to infiltrate the castle barricades, but after that, I'll be forced to take it down." She explains to her comrades.

"Is that in your SpellBinder? Or will you have to write the Magyk Mantra from scratch?" Cory questions her idea, just to make sure.

"Why would I say it if I didn't have it?" Marina tells the commander sassily.

"No really Cory. Why would I? Don't assume things." Marina raises an eyebrow, quietly laughing at the boy.

"We might as well try that. The Dragon King's defenses have definitely increased dice our last raid.

"RAID?!" Gertrude and Tank yell.

"You could barely call it a raid. We were dropping like flies when the Dragon Warrior faught against us!" Gertrude argues angrily.

"Yeah! Plus, he barely even had his army out. The King just hid with his luxuries while he uses his pawns to play for him. You barely made it out alive last time!" Tank growls, wincing at the pictures that flashed in his mind.

"Really! You guys have to argue against just about whatever I say, don't you?" Cory says, pinching the bridge of his nose in annoyance.

"We simply did not expect what they had in store for us in our last 'raid'. Therefore, we should have been more prepared for their sudden retaliation." Cory explains, a neutral expression painted on his face, as usual.

Little did they know, a certain warrior was overhearing their conversation.

"Oh wow!" Y/N giggles, letting out a hiss, "His Majesty will be sure to enjoy this information!"

"Whoops! Sorry guys, but I think we should head home!" Simon declares, glancing at his watch.

"Well, I definitely had fun! Can't wait to do this again!" I tell the group.

"Me too!" Marina and Toby chirp.

"Hey Gertrude, to make up, I was thinking we could go on a double date! You and Sebastian can go with me and Suzy Q to the Drive-In Movie Theater! How about it?!" Simon asks her excitedly. Gertrude's eyebrows arch upwards in a surprised manner.

"A—Er, um . . . U-uhhhhh, sure?" She answers, her reply sounding more like a question.

"Great! I'll text you the time and date!" The geek announces, waving us goodbye as he skips away. My gaze met with Cory's, a single sentence going silently between us.

This would not go well.
