Heaven

"I'm glad you decided to make the right choice" Josh said, pulling out my chair

"Mm" I simply responded, sitting down

"But I'd prefer if you actually talked to me while we're in each other's presence" he scooted me in before going over to his seat

The entire ride here I didn't say a mumbling word. There was nothing to say. I didn't want to be around him at all, but I had no choice. Now, we're at some fancy restaurant. He rented out a private section and everything. It's nice and all but I'd rather be eating pizza in my own home.

"Did you hear me?" he asked, opening his menu

"Oh I heard you. Just hurry up and order your food, eat, and take me home" I sat back, crossing my arms

"Heaven, please don't be like that. I honestly just want to spend time with you."

"Then you could've kindly asked me on a date." I leaned forward "Not manipulate me" I harshly whispered

"You would've said no"

"Then you just should've accepted that"

"I couldn't. When I see something I want I go for it...and I don't stop until I get it" he smirked, placing his hand on mine

I snatched away from him and sat back.

"Just hurry up"

"You're not going to order anything?"

"I don't have an appetite" I rolled my eyes

"We've been on dates before. You know I'm not a bad guy. Why you acting like this?" he sighed, sitting his menu down

"You're only interested in getting some." I scoffed

"That was then..this is now"

"And you're still only interested in having sex. So don't try to pretend like you're this amazing guy"

"Fine. I'll just take you home" he stood up

"Thank you" I was about to stand up

"And I'll call the contractor tomorrow and see about tearing that daycare of yours down" he added

I sat back down and cleared my throat.

"Oh you wanna stay now?" he leaned down in my face

I mumbled a yes

"I didn't hear that" he cupped his ear

"I said yes" I forced through gritted teeth

"Good girl" he smiled before going back over to his seat

I bit down on the inside of my jaw and forced myself to make it through the date.

"I enjoyed myself tonight" he smiled as we pulled up to my building

"Bye" I reached for my handle

"Wait" he hit the locks

I looked at him like he was crazy.

"Maybe I can come inside...just to make sure you're safe" he placed his hand on my thigh

"I'll be fine. I have a gun" I slapped it away, patting my purse

"Oh- Well you uh...you have a good night" his eyes got wide as he quickly unlocked the doors

"Mhm" I did a closed mouth smile before getting out "Asshole" I mumbled inaudibly as I closed the door

I made my way into my into my building and upstairs. I found my key and unlocked my door. Soon as I opened it my jaw dropped at who was coming out.

"Heaven"

"Chris..."
