"Uncle Steve" I gasped in disbelief

"I'm serious. You go to work, come home, and repeat. Even I do more than you"

"There's nothing for me to do here" I placed the phone between my ear and shoulder as I mixed my Alfredo

"It's plenty of stuff to do in California. Plenty of clubs and stuff" 

"How would you know?"

"I used to stay with one of my female friends up there from time to time"

"Oop. You grown" I chuckled

"She was just a friend" he smacked his teeth

"Sureee. I'm not a teenager anymore, Unc" I laughed

"You act like one" he chuckled "You got a curfew for yourself and everything" he said

"I like being in the house early" I smacked my teeth

"I bet I'm yo' only friend"

I stayed quiet because it was true.

"See" he busted out laughing

"Mia is my friend...sorta" I sat at the counter

"You know you don't like that girl. Stop tryna' convince yourself"

"She's a nice person...she's just very flirtatious"

"She's a hoe" he said

"That's not nice" I laughed

"But it's true"

"She's pregnant now" I ate some of my Alfredo

"Who was dumb enough to not wear a condom?" He gasped

"I don't know who the lucky guy is" I said sarcastically

"She gone take every penny that man got"

"I know. I feel sorry for the man and I don't even know him" 

"Somebody knocking on the door. I gotta go" he said

"You just gone kick yo' niece aside for a female?" I smacked my teeth

"You been talking my ear off for the past 2 hours lil girl. I love you. Bye" the phone beeped 3 times

My jaw slightly dropped as I looked at the phone in disbelief.

"Wassup roomie" Mia came in, smiling

"Hi" I continued eating

"You wanna go out tonight?" she asked

"Aren't you pregnant?" I asked

"That doesn't mean I can't go out and have a good time"

"Do you even care about the baby?"

She gasped, acting shocked "If I didn't care then I wouldn't have picked a rich ass nigga to be it's father"

"Money isn't anything if that baby doesn't have love"

"Eh" she fanned her hand

I shook my head and went back to eating my food.

"Oh and my rich baby daddy coming over tomorrow so we can discuss our unborn child. Can you cook something for dinner?" she asked

"Why can't you?" I put my fork down "Oh I forgot, you can't" I rolled my eyes

"I don't need to know how to cook. In a few months I'll be rich enough to have my own chef" she smiled boastfully

"Sure" I chuckled

"You're so jealous it's sad"

"You're right. I'm sooo jealous." I said sarcastically "You're gonna have to order something. I'm busy tomorrow night"

"Doing what?" she chuckled

"Stuff."

"If you call masturbating and eating pizza doing stuff then ok"

"Shut the fuck up" I squinted

"Ok" she raised her hands in surrender "I'm going to get dressed. Have fun staying in"

I scoffed at her as I got up and put my plate in the sink.

She's so damn stupid.

"Chris I don't wanna be with you anymore! You hurt me!"

"You was ok with me fucking her, but now you mad?" I squinted, smacking my teeth

"She's pregnant!!" she cried "And I wasn't ok with you fucking her! I love you so much that I forgave you!"

"I don't even know if she pregnant with my baby yet"

"She said she's positive that it's yours"

"She's a hoe! She'll say anything to get money from me"

"Whatever. I can't deal with this. Can you just leave?" she wiped her tears

"Aight Kae. But if I leave this time, I ain't coming back." I stood up

"Fine with me" she opened the door

I scoffed and walked out.

Social media gone have a field day with this. I thought as I walked to my car. Mia texted me soon as I got in
