"You're my father..." I looked at him "My father" tears were still falling "Why are you just now telling me?"

"I didn't know how to before. Sweetheart please stop crying. I'm sorry I waited so long."

"I...I don't know what to say" I shrugged

"I was expecting you to be happy"

"I'm gonna give you two some alone time." Chris said

"No. Chris you stay" I wiped my tears "Uncle Steve- dad- whoever you are, can you please leave?"

"Heaven I-"

"I just need some time" I cut him off

"Alright, I understand. I'll be staying at the hotel not to far from here when you want to talk" he gathered his things "I love you"

"I love you too" my eyes watered up again

After that, he left and it was just me and Chris

"You ok baby girl?

"My uncle is my dad... I don't know how to feel. Part of me is excited and the other part is just...a little angry"

"Why, babe?" Chris sat down

"How could he let his child stay with those monsters for all those years? I got beat almost everyday in that house...I didn't have any love from neither one of them. I still have nightmares that they're killing you and Steve or beating on me."

"Really? Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't want you to think I was crazy or something" I wiped my tears again

"Babe, I don't think you're crazy." He held my hands "I think you're scarred and you need some closure so you can move on from that horrible past"

"I'm glad I have you here with me. You've always been honest with me" I hugged him

It took him a few seconds, but he hugged me back.

"What you gonna do about the whole uncle-dad situation?"

I chuckled "I'm not ready to talk to him about it yet. But I know I can't just ignore the fact that he's my father...I'll talk to him soon"

"...You sure?"

"Yeah, even though I'm upset about him just now telling me, I still love him and I should hear what he has to say" I responded

"...Yeah"

"You ok, babe? You seem a little thrown off"

"I just...I was surprised about the situation too"

"Yeah. Crazy right?"

"I'm proud of the way you're handling it though"

"Thanks babe" I pecked his lips "Oh, what was it you had to tell me?"

"That uhm...I think we should take a trip"

"I have work, babe."

"Not right now. Whenever we both have free time"

"Where we going?"

"It's for me to know and you to find out"

"Always keeping stuff from me" I playfully punched his shoulder

He awkwardly chuckled before checking his phone.

"I'm about to go shoot some hoops with Keeis and Mario, I'll see you later?"

"You coming back here or you want me to come over?" I got up and pushed the chairs in

"I'll be back here." he leaned down and pecked my lips "I love you"

"I love you too" I searched his eyes as he thumb glided over my cheek

"I love you so much" he stared at me, looking like he wanted to say something

"What's the matter?" I asked

"Nothing, I just love you" he said

"I love you too babe" I pecked his lips once more "Have fun with your boys"

"Alright. Bye babe"

"Bye" I said before he exited

"So you ain't gone tell her?" Keeis shot the ball in the hoop

"I want to, but I don't know how" I said

"It ain't like you gotta do a whole presentation" Mario shrugged "Just tell her"

"But I wanna make sure it's mine first. I'm already not sure about one of them"

"Get a prenatal DNA test" Keeis said

"How you know about that?" I asked

"Once females started finding out I had a lil bit of money on me, they all of a sudden got pregnant" he explained "I looked up some ways of finding out the DNA before the baby was born and boom"

"He was...not the father" Mario added

"Well shit" I chuckled "There goes my answer. I'll set up an appointment tomorrow"

"She gotta be at least 10 weeks pregnant" Keeis said

"Damn" I sighed

I don't know how far along Kae is. I'm definitely gone find out though.

"How you know all this?" I dribbled the ball

"Told you nigga, I do my research"

"Well if the baby is yours, make sure you or Heaven always make the bottles and shit. We all know Karrueche can't even wash dishes correctly" Mario said

"That's the first time you said her name correctly" Keeis, paused from shooting the ball "You feeling ok?"

"Nigga I'm fine" he smacked his teeth "It's a child's life involved in this, so I'm extra serious"
