I wrapped my towel around me as I got out the shower. I walked into my bedroom about to drop my towel.

"I'm about to order a pizza. You want anything?" Mia walked in my room

"You could've knocked"

"Girl we roommates, ain't no knocking" she smacked her teeth "You won't doing nothing anyway"

"That's not the point. Knocking is respecting my privacy just like I respect yours"

"You choose to knock tho'. I didn't ask you to" she tried to make a point

"Why are you in here again?" I squinted, getting fed up with this conversation

"I wanted to know if you wanted anything to eat, but never mind since you being grouchy" she said before exiting my room

I read it in my notifications and locked my phone. Yes I have another date with Josh, he's been scheduling dates with me almost every night for the past two weeks. I always tried to decline but he'd bring up the whole tearing down the daycare thing and I'd change my mind. Pretending like I'm enjoying being around him is complete hell. Especially since now all I can think about is Chris. My mind is on him 24/7, but I can't get up enough courage to DM him.

"Asshole" I said before going into my closet

"What you want?" I placed the phone to my ear

"Is that any way to talk to the mother of your unborn child?" she chuckled

"Man what the fuck you want?"

"Everyone's so grouchy today." she giggled "But I want a pizza"

"Fuck you tellin' me for? Call Pizza Hut and get one"

"I don't trust delivery and my car broke down"

"Use your roommates" I smiled, thinking of Heaven

"She's being a bitch" she smacked her lips

"Watch yo mouth" I said with more aggressiveness in my voice

"Boy just bring me the pizza"

"Hell nah. I ain't yo damn slave"

"Do it for the baby" she softened her tone

"...What kind?" I sighed, smacking my teeth

"Pepperoni and ham. Thank youuu baby da-"

I ended the call before she could finish

"I'ma be back" I stood up, grabbing my keys off the soundboard

"You've only been here 2 hours" my manager, Mike, said

"And I've gotten more shit done in 2 hours than most of ya other clients, and they be having months to finish...hell even years" I respond back before exiting

I knocked on the door, waiting for someone to answer

"It's open" Mia's annoying ass voice said

I smacked my teeth before going in.

"Here." I sat the pizza on the counter

Part of me wanted to stay because Heaven's here. Then the other part of me didn't want to be around Mia worrisome ass. I shook my head and walked towards the door.

"Wait!" she stood in front of it "Don't you wanna have a slice?"

"I'm good"

"Stay a while. I get really bored by myself" she smirked

"You got a roommate"

"She don't never talk to me. She goes from home to work and work to home, and when she comes home she stays in her room"

My baby so antisocial.

"If I didn't have to talk to you, I wouldn't either. Now move"

"Please Chris I-"

"Mia have you seen my diamond earrings?" I turned my attention to the sound of Heaven's voice as I heard heels clicking down the hallway

"I borrowed them last night" Mia answered

"What I tell you about-" she stopped in her tracks once she saw me

My mouth watered at the sight of her. The dress she wore complimented her curvy figure. I bet she looks even better without it. Back then baby girl was curvy, but she always covered it up. Now she's on some grown, confident woman shit.

Three knocks sounded at the door, snapping me out of my thoughts and staring.

"You got a date?" Mia asked

"Uh yeah" Heaven nodded

"You been going out a lot lately. You gave him some yet?"

I wanted to know the answer to that.

"Mia shut up" Heaven said seriously

"Rude" Mia said before opening the door

I eyed Heaven as she cleared her throat and fiddled with her hands.

"I'm here to pick up Heaven" some nigga said

"Come right in" Mia licked her lips, eyeing the nigga as he walked in

Mia's such a damn hoe.

"Hey beautiful. You ready?" the nigga smiled, walking over to Heaven

"Y-Yeah I just have to go grab my purse" she said before quickly walking down the hallway

It was about 10 seconds of silence before this nigga started talking.

"Oh man. You're August Alsina. Nice to meet you man" he smiled, reaching his hand out

I ignored it. Shaking my head and looking the other way. I could've punched that nigga so damn hard his mama would feel it. How he gone try to start a conversation and get my damn name wrong? He should've just shut the fuck up with his wanna be classy ass.

"His name is Chris Brown" Mia said

"Oh! I'm so sorry. My bad man, I always get y'all R&B fellas confused. I'm Josh" he smiled, still holding his hand out

I scoffed and mugged him, still ignoring his hand. He put it down, awkwardly chuckling

"Ok I'm ready" Heaven came back, avoiding eye contact with me

The nigga locked arms with her and they headed towards the door

"See you later girl." Mia grinned "Have fun, lots of fun" she winked

She better fucking not.

"Bye" Heaven said before closing the door

"Now we're alone" Mia smirked

"You're alone. I'm gone" I moved her out of my way and left, seeing that nigga open Heaven's door as I got in my car

I clenched my jaw before speeding off
