My eyes slowly opened. Something was kicking me. I looked over. A tail was kicking me. I threw it away. That was gross. I stood up shakily. I seem to be in some camp. Lizards were sleeping. Their snore's were as loud as a wasp gun. I was about to leave when the General walked over to me. 

"You fought well." He said. 

"Uhh. Thanks." I said. 

"We are mercenaries. Always remember our one rule. We only fight if we get paid to do so." The General said. 

"Okay..." I said walking away. 

That wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Now I needed to find Keka before the centipede queen arrives. I saw the big lizard that punched me in the face he was guarding a tunnel. I had a feeling that Keka was in there. 

I walked over. The big lizard stopped me. 

"State your business." He said.

"The general wanted me to check this place for a prisoner. Keka?" I said. 

"Oh yeah sure. He's  in there. Check away new guy." He said letting me pass. 

I walked along the dark tunnel. It was littered with bones and boxes. I bet Keka was in one of those...just need to find out which one. I heard Keka's voice. It was soft. 

"C'mon, c'mon." I heard Keka mutter. 

I found the crate he was in. 

"Glad to see you're not a snack yet." I said jumping down. 

"Calamity! You're here. Thank god." Keka said. 

"Let's get you out." I said opening the crate. 

We walked slowly. We had to get out of here before they come.

"How are we gonna get passed the guard?" Keka asked. 

"Leave that to me." I said. 

I pulled out my pitchfork.

"I made you cry." I sang.   

Water rose and formed into a lizard. The big lizard turned. 

"Hey who are you?" He asked. 

I made the lizard keep walking backward. 

"I asked you something. Get back here." He said chasing after him. 

"Hah." Keka said. 

This was a lot harder than it looked. I held it for as long as I could before falling. 

"You good?" Keka asked. 

"Fine. Out of breath." I panted. 

We ran out of there. We had to get a move on. We saw soldiers running.

"What could be going on?" Keka asked. 

"Oh no..." I started. 

"What?" Keka said. 

"The centipede queen is here." I said.
