At first glance, Nguyen is a sweet girl who would do anything to make you happy. She's a tad shy but a ray of sunshine once she gets out of her shell. However, after getting away from her adoptive mother, it's shown that she has a temper and tends to act out. She has a lot of behavioral issues combined with a tendency to throw tantrums. She loves all things girly and pink.

Nguyen Jessie Hansen Todd was born on June 29 to Jason Todd and Pham Duyen. When she was born, her biological mother put her up for adoption.

One year old, Nguyen was adopted by Marie Hansen, a model. At three, Marie started entering Nguyen in child beauty pageants.

When Nguyen was four, Marie got an idea to get Nguyen ahead in the pageants. She would allow the judges to have "private sessions" with Nguyen. The girl was sexually assaulted by most of the judges of the pageants she was in.

Nguyen was a pageant queen. She won almost every pageant she was in. Mostly because if she lost, Marie would lock her in the closet and not feed her for a week.

When Nguyen was six, she met her biological father.

Jason had been watching TV in his safe house when he stumbled upon some shitty Toddlers & Tiaras type show. He noticed one of the contestants looked a lot like his ex, Duyen. Then they announced her name was Nguyen, which was what Duyen had said she'd name her daughter if she ever had one.

So, with a fake name, Jason went to Marie and said he thought he was Nguyen's biological father. A DNA test would prove it and, since Nguyen had lost the past three pageants she'd been in, Marie let Jason take her home with him.
