Tywin Lannister is a man of great ambition and a man that is extremely prideful. If Tywin Lannister were to have a fault it would be Pride.

Pride was what fueled him in pursuing the Lannister name. He had fought to make the Lannister name worth its weight in gold after his father tytos Lannister sure had tarnished it and nearly brought the destruction of his house.

Tywin was most certainly a man that was not he crossed in a man that people listen to. Whether it was for fear or out of respect their reasons for loyalty it was obvious that Tywin was the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms.

It was under his hand while he was hand of the king that he made sure everything fell into place. Many said that he was the true king as he was the one who pulled the strings behind the man who sat on the throne. Tywin  Lannister was a man of cunning skill and intelligence.

He demanded respect and above all else he demanded that his family earned the same respect that he himself had over the years.

But the problem was was that his children or this grace. His children would never amount to the Statue of which he had earned for himself.

He feared for his house and knew that if things did not change House Lannister would indeed fall victim again of disgrace and would never be taken seriously again.

Not only were his children a disgrace but he had no valuable heirs. Nobody that could truly lead Casterly Rock back into the greatness that it once stood for if not for his family before him and himself.

So the great and mighty Tywin Lannister was at a problem.

Tywin needed an heir that could prove their worth. An heir that could restore the tarnished name that would no doubt come to the Lannisters after his death.

But the fact of the matter was he had no wife. She had died in childbirth to his bastard of a son Tyrion and he would never see fit to put Tyrion as Lord of Casterly Rock.

So when news spread that there was a Lannister bastard in a town half a days ride from Lannisport it struck Tywin's interest.

Who could this person be and how much could they look like any Lannister in order to actually be called a Lannister bastard?

Tywin needed to know.

He ordered one hundred silver coins to anyone who had any information on the so called 'Lannister bastard'. He figured that if nothing else if the person that was claimed to be wasn't worth a damn he could always put them to work in the mines below the Rock.

It was a win-win either way for the proud old Lord.

"Mi'lord. The guest has arrived."

One of the workers informed Tywin. The proud Lord raised his head from his desk and lowered his quill. He had been in the middle of the daunting task of managing his finances when he was interrupted.

"Allow them in."

He said strongly as he folded his hands together and placed them against his desk. He watched the man bow and then backtracked toward the door.

When the door opened a man dressed in furs entered. Tywin arched a brow. One of the local trackers no doubt, how funny for a tracker to be the one to bring him information about this bastard.

"Mi'lord. I've come about the reward for the news on the bastard."

"Go on."

"She was last seen in Rivendell, but headed this way. She means to find work here."

"She? You are sure it's a woman?"

"Yes Mi'lord."

Tywin hummed for a moment as he lifted his head with an aura of demanding respect. He gave a small nod.

"Can you describe this woman well?"

"Of course Mi'lord. She's rather hard to forget."

"Good. You will tell every detail to our artist and they will draw up posters for all the guards. Tell no one. For if you do, your family will feel the wrath of the Lannisters."

"Of course Mi'lord."

The tracker said as he gave a quick bow. Tywin plucked a small bag from the side of his desk and dropped it in front of all his work.

"Here is your reward. Now go. Tell the artist."

And in an instant the man left the room. Tywin sighed deeply in frustration. He had assumed that the Bastard had been a boy not a girl. A girl was no use to him. A girl could not carry on his legacy even if he wanted her to.

Tywin was most certainly at an impass and one that seemed extremely daunting and not worth his efforts. However, he still needed things to work. He needed to find a way to make all of this work to his favor.

A few hours past and Tywin was given the first paper that showed the person he was trying to find. At first glance he noticed the similarly face structure, the high cheekbones on the women that ran in the family. Her face was rounder than most, but he figured that was gotten from her whore mother.

Tywin scoffed wondering if she had the true Lannister eyes or not. It was apparent that by the drawing she had the golden hair.

He lowered the paper and placed it beside his desk.

"Hand these out to every guard in Lannisport. Once she is found you will bring her to me. Unharmed. She is to be my guest."

"Right away my lord."

The captain said giving him a bow before he left the room to fulfill his duties to his lord. Tywin sighed deeply and leaned back in his chair.

He wondered to himself just how useful or ignorant this child could be once he found her.

The days marched on and in those few days Tywin had received word that the woman he had been looking for had hit town and she was being brought to him now. It was in the middle of breaking his fast when she was brought inside the dinning chamber.

Tywin lowered his fork and looked up at the woman. He felt his chest grow tight as he took in the woman. Her long blonde hair was tied up and braided behind her head. Her body was tall and her legs long. Tywin was actually impressed given who her father happened to be... if she was what they said she was.

When she approached closer there was no doubt in his mind that she was who they said she was when he looked into her eyes it was as if he was looking into a mirror.

"Tyanna Flower, Mi'lord."

The guard said causing Tywin's eyebrows to arch. So she had been given the name of 'Ty' that was most certainly interesting.

"You may go."

Tywin said as he waved his guards. They bowed and did as ordered. Tyanna glanced over her shoulder and watched as they left the room, leaving the old lion and herself all alone.

"So,"

Tywin spoke causing Tyanna to turn back and look directly at Tywin.

"You are the supposed Lannister bastard?"

"I suppose I am, my Lord."

Tywin nodded his head and hummed. She spoke rather proper which was interesting enough.

"Tell me, girl, were you ever told of your father?"

"My father is supposed to be Tyrion Lannister. Short little fellow, intelligent, and apparently has a hardy laugh and good heart."

Tywin couldn't help but chuckle at the way she described his son in the manner of a love stricken woman would have told.

"I suppose your mother told you that."

"You'd be right my Lord."

"Tell me girl, why do you come to Lannisport?"

"Work my Lord."

Tywin lowered his head a bit and looked at her from an angle. He already had been informed that but he wanted to see if that was truly the story she was going to stick with or not.

"There can be work found elsewhere."

"Not for fishing there isn't. Not when Lannisport is famous for their fishing and job opportunities."

"Among other things..."

Tywin stated causing Tyanna to arch a brow this time. Tywin kept his face about as stoic as he could but by the Gods the way she arched that eyebrow it was like he was looking at a younger version, and a very female version, of himself.

"You fish?"

"Among other things..."

Tywin couldn't help but let a laugh pass through his lips. She was witty he'd give her that much. His lips twitched as he looked at her. She stood there dressed in black clothes. She seemed almost like a female hunter if he had to label her look.

"I've always enjoyed fishing. I would be the one in charge of providing meals for my mother and I. She was always busy working."

"Is your mother a whore?"

Tywin questioned quickly obviously throwing Tyanna off guard with his question. She fluttered for a split second before shaking her head.

"Scullary maid, my lord. Works for a rich man in Ashemark."

Tywin hummed nodding his head and resting his index finger across his lip, rubbing his stubbly chin slowly right below his lip.

"And you came to Lannisport for work and only work?"

"Yes. It was the closest major city around. I wish to stay as close to my mother as possible."

"And how old are you girl?"

That was of course Tywin's next question. Nineteen my lord."

Tywin hummed. Tyanna noticed that he seemed to be thinking about something and she could only guess what that something was.

"I'm not here for legitimacy or your family gold. Truly I'm here to work to support my mother. I would not have ever met you had you not been keeping an eye out for me."

"Is that so?"

"It is."

Tywin couldn't help but notice just how well spoken the woman was and how well mannered. He knew that she must have been taught properly. Even though she wasn't perfect - no far from it - he could see her value.

"Do you have room and board yet?"

"No my lord. I hadn't even made it inside Lannisport gates when I was picked up by the guard to my suprise."

Tywin nodded and took his finger that he had been using to rub his chin with and pointed toward her.

"You shall be given a guest bed for tonight since I have so sorely inconvenienced you. You will be given a meal tonight and breakfast in the morning and sent on your way."

Tyanna arched a brow but never the less gave a bow. This was something else that Tywin noticed, she was extremely respectful but acted too masculine.

"Thank you, my lord."

"Wait just outside, I'll have one of the maids draw you up your room."

Tyanna gave another bow, her blonde hair moving ever so slightly causing her to tuck it back behind her ear again before she turned on her heels and left the room.

Tywin sat there in his chair at the head of the table for a long moment watching her leave and then watching the door long after she had left. He sat there pondering thinking about how much like Tyrion she did appear to be.

There was no mistaking it that she was his son's bastard. And due to his son's carelessness now it was up to Tywin to figure out a way to fix this little problem.

He didn't really believe her when she spoke about not wanting his gold or to be legitimized after all it was every bastard's dream to wish to be part of the Lannisters, who was by far the strongest noble house in the land.

Tywin sighed through his nose deeply pondering out a plan to take care of Tyanna Flower. Perhaps a plan that he could end up using to his advantage in the end.
