All out War

Before Liala and Tywin could marry, he was thrown into an all out war. The Stark's and the Baratheons were pushing through the Targaryen lines and winning. Tywin's attention was drawn from his family and more toward the battle that would determine the fate of the realm.

He had nemours ravens sent to him from what Laila could tell and all of them from the king in an attempt to get him to fight for him.

Tywin of course refused.

Laila noticed a change in him. He seemed to become colder and more distant, not that he was already, but it was to the point where Liala had believed that she had done something to anger the Lord.

"My Lord? Have I troubled you?"

Her soft voice called out one day while Tywin had just dismissed his council. The man had been holding meeting after meeting to prepare for this war.

The man gave her his usual stoic and unreadable expression as she walked into the room quietly.

"You? You've been quieter than a mouse. No. It's nothing to do with you."

Tywin stated as he stood up from his chair at the head of the table. Liala swallowed, her heart racing in her chest but pleased with the answer. She gave a quick bow and muttered a small thanks to him before she started to turn and leave.

"Wait a moment."

He called out causing Liala to stop and turn back toward the Lord. She looked at him with her large eyes and watched him. He leaned against the table for a moment before he started toward her.

Her body tensed up for a moment watching as Tywin made his way toward her. Even after all the time she had spent at Casterly Rock here with him and his family, she still recalled the horrid faces of her family before they were murdered.

She also recalled the bodies that still hung at the gates of Casterly Rock and Lannisport. It was the man in front of her that had caused it all. The same man that stopped in front of her and gazed at her with such intense green eyes.

"It's been a long while since you first arrived here at Casterly Rock. I'd hoped you start feeling... more at home."

He stated with his hands held behind his back while looking down at the young blonde. She arched a brow and Tywin looked away for a moment then held his hand out in the direction he glanced.

"Walk with me."

He said causing Laila to nod and she fell in step with Tywin. They left his meeting room and entered the hall where they slowly walked.

"I've heard from Genna that you've helped with Tyrion and Cersei. I thank you for that."

Tywin sounded genuinely pleased with the work that Laila had been putting in here at his home. In all honesty the pain was still in her heart from everything that had happened, but none the less she was pleased with the praise.

"Cersei is a great deal older than I, but I do my best to help Lady Genna. Lord Tyrion is a handful sometimes and she needs the help when I can give it."

Liala explained. Cersei was the type of young woman who maintained herself, but even then when Genna would watch Tyrion, well, it never hurt to have an extra helping hand around.

Tywin stopped walking in the middle of the hallway and took a moment to look out the window that was to his left. Liala stopped as well and stood behind him, watching the proud old Lord gazing out the small opening in the stone.

All was quiet for a moment before he sighed deeply through his nose.

"You are a great deal younger than I but I hope that you're wide enough to understand that before I enter this war we must wed and I bed you."

Laila listened as he spoke. His voice strong and his words smooth as silk. His excellent tongue allowing the words to flow through his mouth.

"You are the last remaining Reyne that was kept alive for the soul purpose to bare my children, my heirs. My son is a King's guard and cannot carry on the family line, my other son... unworthy."

It was then Tywin turned and looked at the girl who seemed so small and afraid, although her eyes told a different story altogether.

"We will wed in a fortnite and we shall begin trying for my heirs."

Laila nodded softly. She didn't really know what else to say or do. All she wanted was to please Tywin and keep him from growing angry with her for whatever reason that might be. He was extremely quick to anger and even more terrifying when angered.

After all she had seen first hand what the man was capable when his anger rose.

"Yes my Lord."

She bowed slightly her gaze down on the ground. When she looked back up she noticed that Tywin was still looking at her. She faltered for a split second wondering why his eyes were still upon her, but before she could even breath Tywin walked away.

She stood there as straight as a twig and found her breath again.

His gaze had been overly intense for whatever reason as he looked to her. Slowly glancing over her shoulder she was able to catch the very last of Tywin's tail of his outfit disappearing up the stairwell down the hall.

Their wedding wasn't large and in all honesty Laila was thankful for that. Tywin and her had been married out in the gardens and the only ones to attend were Tywin's children Cersei and Tyrion, his brother Ser Kevan, his brother's wife, and Genna.

Laila was dressed up in a golden dress that wasn't overly fancy, yet showed that Tywin had enough money to decorate his new wife in a lavish style. He himself wore a deep red attire that reflected his Lannister House colors.

The wedding was quick and simple. They spoke their lines and kissed at the end.

Laila was trembling to the visible eye as she kissed Tywin for the first time she she arrived. She hadn't expected it to be so quick, but she was glad for that she guessed.

Right after the wedding they all had their supper and it was then Tywin and Liala were to have the bedding ceremony.

Nobody in their right mind suggested the idea, knowing Tywin was not one to be pushed into anything -- although Kevan gave his brother a slight tease saying how envious he was that Liala was so young compared to Tywin and how he wished his wife were just as young.

Which of course earned Kevan a smack in the chest from his own displeased wife.

The whole walk to Tywin's room, which would now be her room as well, Liala was a nervous and blushing fool. Tywin had to have noticed but he refused to say anything on the matter of how red her face had become.

Once in their room Tywin shut the door behind him.

"Undress and lay down on the bed."

He ordered as he himself started to undress. Laila's young fingers slowly started to work on her corset. Her mind racing with all types of thoughts and great worries that she had.

What if she wasn't good enough? What if she ended up angering him in some manner? What if he was just displeased with her chubby body?

Thought after thought and worry after worry raced through her mind frantically.

What was going to happen to her if he dissaproved anything?
