VIII

It was odd. It was an odd feeling all around. A month had passed and it seemed as if Tywin had given up on the most part. Well, perhaps not given up but he certainly didn't speak nearly as much about returning home as he had in the beginning. Maybe he had accepted the fact that he was stuck here?

No that was a foolish notion to even imagine. Tywin Lannister was not a man that just gave up.

"Dinner!"

I called out as I finished cooking the two small steaks on my George Forman grill. I put them on the plates with the veggies and baked potatoes I had made.

I heard Tywin scuffle out of the bathroom and into the kitchen.

"It smells good."

He stated as he opened the fridge and grabbed the bottle of cheap red wine I had been purchasing for the last month for him.

"Thank you. I just hope it's as good as it smells."

I joked. With my back still to Tywin I kept my mind focused on the task of fixing up the last few bits of the meal. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed Tywin reach behind me toward the cabinet where I kept the glasses. I didn't think anything of it until my breath hitched in the back of my throat and my body froze for a split second.

Tywin had placed his hand on my right hip from behind and his body pressed into mine.

My eyes focused on the plate as I noticed that he had yet to open the cabinet door. Tywin had me trapped between his body and the counter. I felt his breath fanning the top part of my ear.

I knew he had been acting rather strange the past week. He had been more open with me and wanting to share stories about both him and wanting to know about my life as well.

"I'm sure it will taste marvelous."

He whispered under his breath. I was holding mine. I wondered in the back of my mind if he had somehow figured out my silly little crush on him. He was a fictional character after all so of course it was silly.

But he was a smart man, could he have really?

"You think?"

I barely spoke the words nearly caught in my throat. I wasn't even sure at first if he had managed to hear me, but I was reassured by a small squeeze on my hip and the pressure of him leaning into me more.

"I know."

My breath returned to me when I felt his lips pressed against my ear and then traveled down my neck.

Jesus fucking Christ.

This was not happening right now.

I felt my legs buckle as my hands supported my body and I let out the most pathetic mew I'd ever heard some from myself.

It seemed that was all it took and suddenly Tywin's strong hands had me turned around and pinned to the small bar that was beside the counters with the food. His lips crashed down into mine and my hands flew around his neck.

I gapsed as his hands roamed my body and he pressed me harder against the surface of the bar.

It didn't take long before a trail of scattered clothing lead to my bedroom.
