Her Journey

She was hot, thirsty, and exhausted. That was only a few things to say among the others which she was. She was at her wit's in at the breaking point. She was starting to hallucinate things. Things that she knew weren't there because if they were really there in that meant that she herself was dead.

Alanna walked barefoot through the desert as she had been for the last two days. She knew she was headed East thanks to her skills she learned from her father, but she didn't know if East was the right way to even go at this point.

The hallucinations only worse than with each passing moment. She tried to ignore them but it was hard to ignore the people at their past that were now dead. At first she had hallucinated her father. Her father had been standing there across the way waving his arm toward her.

She almost went running to him but then remembered that he was in fact dead and that he could not possibly be there. She figured it must have been his Spirit prompting her showing her that she was going to die here in this godforsaken place.

And then she hallucinated her mother, and then her brother Rob. She started to become emotional wishing to run to her mother and throw herself into the lady's arms.

Why were the  Gods continue to play a cruel joke on her as she made her way tired way through the desert.

Her mouth was dry and her lips chapped and bleeding. Her feet hot and hurting. She was sure that her feet were bleeding as well as they were cut by sharp rocks that she walked upon.

She had fallen she didn't know how many times and she worried about her unborn child. She knew that it she did not find food and shelter soon then she would in fact die and her child would die with her.

The next hallucination was her sisters. She didn't know if they were alive or not but she figured that after the fact that she had who assassinated her father, mother, and brother that must have been that they were dead.

She tried to ignore them each one of them attempting to get her to come to them as she trudged through the open and scorching desert Terrain.

The next hallucinations however was not a pleasing one. The next one was Joffrey and his was anything but Pleasant. She watched his eyes turn blue in the blood in snot ran from his nose and mouth. It was the moment that he had been poisoned and killed at his own wedding.

He lifted his hand and pointed at her as if to blame her for what happened to him. It had not been her fault in the slightest and she closed her eyes looking away and continue to walk as best she could.

The site was something that she did not want to see at this moment.

Her brain felt fried and her emotions she couldn't even tell anymore. Then the breaking point came when she began to trudge up another Hillside that was covered in rocks. She slipped and fell rolling onto her side and pain screaming out as her side hurt.

Opening her eyes again she looked up and in her eyesight standing before her was Tywin. She gritted her teeth and screamed, crying as she did.

"Go away! Leave me alone!"

She cried out as she was unable to stand the sight of him whether he was a hallucination or not. But he did not leave her. Instead he stood there standing with his hand placed behind his back as he looks down at her wrecked body.

"What happened to the strong woman that once stood facing me in my tent?"

He questioned. She closed her eyes and tried to hide her face. This is the first time that any of the hallucinations had spoken to her. She honestly believes that she was going crazy due to the Heat and the dehydration from the desert.

She was basically defeated as she laid there curling up into a ball and pain in her side and feet and the rest of her body turning them as she laid against the Hot Rocks. It was then she seen Tywin kneel in front of her.

"Get up, Alanna. Get up and be the woman I know you can be."

She sobbed pulling her hands from her face and looking up at him. He wasn't far from her now. He was so close. Close enough to where if she reached out she could touch him. It was almost as if he was there and he was alive before her.

"How can I when you've broken me!?"

She cried out facing Tywin's stoic face. His golden green eyes softening ever so slightly.

"I thought I couldn't break you, Alanna? Is that what you once told me? 'You can take me, but you can't break me'?"

He hummed in question. She gritted her teeth and sneered up at him.

"I loved you! I fell in love with you and you betrayed me! That's how you broke me! That's how!"

"If that's the truth then you had broken me as well."

Her eyes widened and she shook her head. She sobbed as she pressed her hands to the hot rocks beneath her and climbed back onto her wounded feet.

"No -- No you never loved me! You used me to get what you wanted!"

"And what was that Alanna? I'm the most powerful man in Westroes the man that has everything -- everything but one thing..."

He said appearing to her right suddenly. He did not walk it was like she blinked and then he was in a new spot in her vision.

"Shut up! Shut up you're dead you're not real! You're not here!"

She screamed throwing her arms around as she tried to keep herself balanced. She made it to the top of the hill and leaned against one of the large stones that littered the hillside.

She kept her body pressed against it as her eyes noticed something in the distance. She narrowed her eyes believing it to be playing tricks on her. It was a large triangle like stone and that's when it dawned on her and she gasped.

"Remember Alanna,"

Tywin's voice whispered into her ear.

"A Lannister always pays his depts."

She turned around to yell again but Tywin was no where to be found. She blinked several times and it seemed that he was gone for good.

Turning back to the sight before her Alanna felt like crying again. She knew where she was and now the only had one final task.

She had to walk to the gates of Meereen and get inside.
