I woke up hearing crying and looked up to see Joan.

"Joan?" I called pulling her hand away from her face to see no tears.

"You awake now?" She asked and I glared at her.

"What method of waking a person up is that?" I asked.

"I haven't named it yet" she shrugged.

"Was it a dream or did you actually kiss uncle Killian last night?" I asked.

"I... I just wanted my chicken back I didn't think" she said blushing hard looking away.

"Oh my gawd Joan you like uncle Killian!" I shouted and she yelled a 'shh!'.

I smiled brightly.

"I'm glad it's not my dad, how did this happen?" I asked.

"I don't know, it just came" she replied.

"Now I know why he was being so sweet and taking us out, he wanted to take you out buy couldn't ne so obvious so I was added to the equation" I said finally understanding the reason for uncle Killian's sudden sweetness.

He was nice but never that sweet.

"I did a lot of things I regret and I can't even remember some of them" Joan began her fake cry again but her cheeks and ears were red.

"We've all embarrassed ourselves before" I replied.

"I wouldn't be able to face him Hayley" she murmured.

"Why not, he let you kiss him" I shrugged.

"But I didn't mean to kiss him, it is going to be so awkward" she cried.

"I'm sure it won't be that bad" I replied patting her back.

"I think he called me kitten last night" she said and my eyes widened before settling into a smirk.

"It seems I have two uncles wedding to plan" I smiled.

"No! No wedding.... I'm totally confused right now" she groaned.

"You wanted one of them, and now you have one that's taken an interest in you" I said smirking at her.

"Ahh and this damn hangover" she groaned.

"Nice try changing the topic but I feel you" I said grabbing my own head.

My phone started ringing and I looked down and saw it was Theo.

*Hayley, I'm outside your house I've been ringing the bell for a while now" he said.

I hung up and looked into the mirror before crying.

I looked like a mess, Joan began crying again and pulled me into a hug as we cried.

I put my hair into a bonnet changing my clothes before going downstairs.

"Hey Theo" I greeted.

"Hey Hayley" he smiled coming in.

"This place reeks of alcohol" he sniffed turning to me and taking in my groggy form.

"Did you get drunk?" He asked.

"Yea not just me, my dad, his friends and Joan" I said and he sighed.

"Go freshen up, I'll wait" he said and I looked down at myself.

"I look a mess don't I?" I asked.

"You look a hangover" he replied laughing a little.

I groaned heading upstairs to have a bath.

Joan was staring at the wall touching her swollen lips.

"We need to get ready for school" I told her and she sighed.

"My head feels like its going to split in two" she groaned.

"You're not going?" I asked.

"I'll miss today" she said.

"Okay but Theo's already here to pick me, I can't refuse" I said and she nodding waving me off as she curled into my bed.

After a while I was ready and headed back downstairs.

No breakfast or lunch

I could cry

Where was Vandel I thought he didn't get drunk.

I went into the kitchen making a quick sandwich I stuffed it in my mouth as Theo and I headed to his car outside.

I offered him my sandwich which he refused.

"Theo what's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing Hay" he said and I sighed.

"You seem down lately" I said.

"Oh it's nothing like that, I just don't get enough sleep nowadays" he replied.

"Why what's bothering you?" I asked.

"I can't sleep well cause I always have to watch my back and the anxiety of it makes it hard to sleep" he said and I frowned.

"Is it those people that tried to kill you that time?" I asked.

"Yes" he replied.

"But why?" I asked.

"They think I'm someone else" he said.

"We'll have to clarify it then" I said and he nodded.

"What was the occasion for you guys to have an alcohol party?" He asked.

"I don't know, I think they where celebrating something" I replied and he just nodded.

"What of Joan?" He asked.

"Her hangover is worse than mine" I replied and he started the car and began driving to school.

The rest of the ride was filled with small talk till we arrived.

It made me realize I knew little about Theodore, he knew basically everything about me but apart from his name I didn't know anything about his family or even where he lived.

I considered asking him but decided to leave it for now as he seemed to have a lot going on in his mind.

We headed towards class together and I couldn't help but smile, I went towards the centre of the class while Theo went to the back to meet his friends who where smiling at me.

That was scary.

They didn't like me, I knew that much and Theo had told me that they didn't like me so seeing them smile at me wasn't something I was a fan of.

Maybe they were trying to warm up to me?.
