Hayley was discharged from the hospital and was already home when Joan barged in.

"What happened?" She asked rushing over to Hayley who was on the couch.

"I heard you were in an accident" she said doing a quick check round her body.

"I'm okay Joan it wasn't anything serious" Hayley reassured.

"She was shot" Vandel said coming out from the kitchen and hayley sighed.

"What?" Joan asked turning to Hayley.

"It was really just a scratch" Hayley shrugged.

"You should have told me" Joan said and Hayley gave a small smile.

"I didn't want to worry you" Hayley said and Joan nodded.

"I'd rather know even of I have to be worried" Joan said.

"I'll be sure to tell you from now on" Hayley said and Joan smiled hugging her.

"I heard it was Theo that brought you over to the hospital?" Joan said with a smirk and Hayley smiled a little.

"Well I'm staying here with you all day" Joan said dropping her bag

"You don't have to, you've never missed a class" Hayley reasoned.

"Well there's a first time for everything" she shrugged with a smile.

"A lot of people heard about the accident and some think you died, but now they know that Theo was with you they thing you guys are actually together" Joan said.

"Didn't they think that before?" Hayley asked.

"No they thought he was going to get bored of you soon" Joan replied and Hayley nodded.

The door bell rang and Vandel went to get it.

Someone entered inside who greeted Vandel with a hug and Joan narrowed her eyes.

Vandel closed the door behind Kelly who then noticed the two girls in the living room.

"Hi Aunt Kelly" Hayley greeted and Kelly rushed over to Hayley pulling her into a gentle hug.

Hayley's eyes teared up and hugged her back.

"How do you feel Hun?" Kelly asked.

"Better" Hayley said with a smile and Kelly returned it turning to the other girl.

"Hello beautiful, are you a friend of Hayley's" Kelly asked and Joan nodded.

"What's your name?" Kelly asked.

"Joan ma'am" Joan replied.

"That's a pretty name Joan,nice to meet you" Kelly said and Joan just nodded and smiled.

"Girls your breakfast is in the kitchen, Kelly and I would be upstairs if you need anything" Vandel said and Kelly waved goodbye to the two girls, heading upstairs with Vandel.

JOAN'S POV

I stared at her retreating figure as she followed Hayley's dad.

She was so beautiful and had a nice shape, not only that but she was very nice.

I internally groaned.

How was I supposed to beat that.

"That's his girlfriend" Hayley said pulling me out of my trail of thoughts.

I had known she was the one once she hugged Vandel.

I wished I could hug him too

I know I'm simping for my best friend's dad but you can't blame me, he was a work of art.

You would also simp if you where in my shoes.

Hayley ans I moved over to the kitchen and began digging into our breakfast.

And he was a good cook too

What was there not to like?

"What are you thinking about?" Hayley asked noticing I was just staring at a blank wall.

"Just how lucky his girlfriend is" I shrugged and she sighed.

"You'll get yours too one day, just not my dad" she gave a small smile which I returned.

We basically wasted the whole day binge watching Netflix and doing snacks.

Kelly never came down and Vandel only did to get somethings before heading back up.

It was late I'm the evening when the doorbell rang and Hayley and I groaned, we where cuddled up in a blanket with the lights off while our eyes begged to be closed.

I stood up going over to get it when I saw three huge men infront of me.

"Hey its Joan" the one with longer hair cheered ruffling mh hair and I blushed.

"Hi" I squeaked and the other two greeted me also with the same gestures, I closed the door behind me as the three men settled themselves on the chairs.

"So what where you guys watching?" One of them asked, I believed his name was James.

"Bridgerton" James asked.

"What's that?" Quavo was the one to ask this time.

"It's an olden day British Netflix series" Hayley explained and they just nodded while Killian dropped a bag on the table.

"Vandel said you where two" he said and Hayley pulled the bag toward us bringing out its contents, the first thing made me smile.

The rest consisted of a bunch of snacks and I marvelled at the sight.

So much chocolate.

They where trying to kill us.

"Joan I hope you like this too, Hayley requested for snacks but I didn't know the types you preferred" Killian said.

"Anything is fine" I replied with s ample saying a thank you to which he smiled to.

Such a beautiful smile.

Hayley and I wasted no time digging in.

This was so good.

Vandel soon came down along with Kelly and I glared at her as each of them hugged her.

Well they all seemed like a friend group.

"I've started seeing someone" James announced and I choked on my chocolate bar.

"Are you okay?" Someone asked and I just nodded and looked up to see Hayley smiling at me and I glared at her.

"Finally" Hayley said.

"I was scared you all didn't want to date at all" Hayley said.

"You know why we can't baby girl" Quavo sausage playing with the lighter in his hands.

"Yea it's too risky" Killain replied.

Out of all the men sitted here, Killian intimidated me the most. He had the most tatoos and was dressed in all black even though he was not the most muscular in the room, he seemed like someone who would love violence and the worse part was that he had been taking little glances at Mr which made me red throughout the whole night.

After a while Kelly passed out unto the couch leaving me to clear out the table

I groaned in my head not really meaning it.

Once I was done, I was rushing back outside the kitchen when I bumped into someone.

"Shit" Killian groaned as the bottle of water in his hand splashed over him and he hissed at the temperature.

"I...I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there" I pleaded and he laughed a little.

"It's fine" he said and began to pull of his shirt infront of me and I swallowed

I tried not to drool at the sight infront of me as he walked over to the fridge pulling out another bottle of water.

"Shouldn't you be asleep it's quite late" he asked standing infront of me and I subconsciously moved back.

"I... I ... will soon" I replied and he smiled with a nod and headed to the sitting room while I tried to calm my heart rate.

I could literally hear the loud beating of my heart.

Heading over to the living room, I saw they began getting ready to leave.

It was almost midnight.

Kelly had gone to sleep earlier after Vandel carried Hayley to her room.

"Bye bye Joan" Quavo cheered patting my head and James did the same while I just smiled.

Killian was next and he was still holding his wet shirt in his hands.

"wear a shirt in front of the girls" Vandel groaned and Killian rolled his eyes

"Goodnight Joan, and go to bed or you'll get a headache tomorrow morning" he said with a smile.

Why did it sound more like an order.

I nodded and he smiled squeezing my hand a little instead of patting my head and then he left.

Vandel shut the door behind them.

"He's right though Joan, you should go to sleep you have school tomorrow" Vandel said with a smile and I nodded before heading upstairs.

I was more comfortable and bold around Vandel compared to the rest.

It was probably because he was Hayley's dad so it was easier that way.
