Today is Thanksgiving at the Oakley-Kuhl household! This year, Tyler and Korey have decided to have a small Thanksgiving dinner at home with their four children, Troye, Connor and Connor's three children - Carson, Jack and Ava.

But for Christmas, they will fly to Michigan be with their families after Christmas Day but fly back to California to celebrate New Years with Troye's family which will be in town from Australia.

Right now, many of the Thanksgiving foods are cooking and it is just a waiting game.

Tyler is editing a video for his YouTube channel while Korey is in the living room with the girls.

*Archer, Sparrow, Hazel and Rory's Thanksgiving outfits*

"Mom! When is Dad, Nash, Connor, Carson, Jack and Ava coming?" Archer asks Tyler as he walks over to him.

"They will be coming soon! They gotta get dressed and ready and they are also FaceTiming some of Connor's family members!" Tyler explains to Archer with a smile.

"Ohh! Aren't Connor, Carson, Jack and Ava going to Minnesota?" Archer asks Tyler.

"They will on Saturday to visit Connor's family and have another Thanksgiving dinner." Tyler says to Archer.

"Lolly and Papa don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia, do they?" Archer asks curiously.

"No, they don't. It's an American thing and Canada. But Canada's Thanksgiving was last month." Tyler explains to Archer. 

Archer thinks about it for a minute, "Oh, that's interesting! I guess it gives more space between Christmas and Thanksgiving."

Tyler nods and smiles at his son, glad that he taught his kids how to speak respectfully of other people's traditions. And to ask lots of questions.

Sparrow walks in fully dressed too, looking at Tyler and then Archer, about to ask the same thing his brother just did.

"Mom says they'll be here soon! They're getting ready themselves." Archer says out loud in reply.

"Oh, okay. I also came to find Rory's tiger, she can't find it anywhere, and she's starting to be upset." Sparrow adds.

From a corner, Tyler spots the stuffed animal in question and hands it to Sparrow, wondering how it got there.

"Thanks." The boys both walk out, leaving Tyler to edit, and go to the other room with the rest of their family.

"Rory, look! We found your tiger!" Sparrow says to the youngest, who squeals and happily takes it.

"Raaaah!" Rory makes the noise in excitement, having no idea what Thanksgiving is. She's just happy she has her toy.

"Hazel, can I fix your hair, sweetie?" Korey asks when he notices it coming down a bit.

"Okay, Daddy." Hazel sits still and lets Korey do her hair.

"How pretty. What else should we do while we wait?" Korey wonders, keeping an eye on Rory too.

Rory is trying to go into the kitchen, as a hungry growing child, but her big brothers keep her away from danger.

"We can play!" Hazel decides.

A timer goes off, and Korey stops it, going to the stove to stir some mashed potatoes.

"I'll play, Haze! We can do block towers, since that's one of your favorite games." Archer offers, and the little girl accepts.

"Should I get Rory a snack? She keeps going towards the food for dinner!" Sparrow asks Korey, Rory in his arms trying to wiggle away.

"I think we should! Get her some yogurt melts! She loves those!" Korey says as Sparrow opens the snack cabinet door.

"I want dem too!" Hazel says as she jumps up and down.

"What do you say, Hazey?" Korey says to Hazel.

"Pwease!" Hazel says with a little pout, showing Korey her puppy eyes.

"Of course you can! Let Sparrow get them out!" Korey says as Hazel waits patiently.

"Raaaaa! Raaaaa!" Rory says as she continues to happily play with her tiger.

Sparrow, now having his hands free, gets two little glass yogurt jars they saved and puts some in each, making sure it's an even amount.

"Thanks for waiting," Sparrow encourages manners and hands one jar to Hazel.

"Thank you!" Hazel smiles and begins eating.

Sparrow bends down to Rory's height and places her snack nearby, then goes back over to the kitchen to put the bag away.

"Rory. Sparrow brought you some food." Archer says when she doesn't notice, too distracted with her game.

"Ooo! Ta!" Rory calls to Sparrow.

"You're welcome! Uncle Korey, can I help with any of the food you're making for dinner?" Sparrow says to his sister, then Korey.

"Sure! Do you want to help me get the rolls in the oven?" Korey asks Sparrow.

"Yes! Those are one of my favorite foods about Thanksgiving!" Sparrow says as Korey chuckles, knowing how much Sparrow loved the little rolls only around during the holidays.

"Here's the pan! Put the rolls on there not too close together and make sure you put butter on top of them." Korey explains to Sparrow.

One by one, Sparrow butters all of the rolls and places them on the pan.

Crouton walks over to watch Sparrow, hopeful something is dropped.

"Crouton, you will get a special plate in a little bit." Korey says to the dog.

Crouton barks and lingers near, not fully understanding.

Tyler walks in and takes Crouton out of the kitchen, taking him to another room for now. It wouldn't be easy cooking with a dog underfoot.

Rory crawls and walks over when she notices Tyler, now in the kitchen too, staring at him with big eyes.

"Rory, honey, we're making food for Thanksgiving! It's hot in here, and I don't want you to get hurt. Let's go read a book." Tyler explains.

The baby seems happy with that answer, and chooses a book about tigers. Tyler reads it to her while they wait.

Sparrow, Hazel and Archer set the table, talking about what music to listen to.

The food cooks for a while longer, and finally, it's all done. Vegetables, rolls, sweet potatoes, gravy -- and more.

Korey chuckles as he takes the Jell-O salad out of the fridge, putting it on the table.

Tyler finishes reading the story and closes the book and looks down at Rory. Rory looks up at Tyler, causing the both of them to smile.

"Ma ma!" Rory says with a big smile.

"Yes?" Tyler says to Rory with a grin.

"Wuv you!" Rory says as she claps her hands.

"Aww, I love you! I love you so much." Tyler says as he kisses Rory's cheeks, causing her to giggle loudly.

Just then, Crouton runs over to the front door, sensing someone coming.

And Crouton was right! Troye, his dog Nash, Connor and his three children Carson, Jack and Ava have arrived for Thanksgiving dinner!

"Daddy! I wanna ring the door bell!" Ava says with excitement as she dances around.

"Okay! You can! Just one time! I don't know if Hazel and Rory are napping yet." Connor says with a smile at his daughter.

Rory is suddenly standing by the door, following Crouton. She stares out the window as Ava rings the doorbell, and watches with a giggle when she jumps.

"Mama! Here!" Rory turns around.

"People are here? Hang on," Tyler says, close behind, and opens the door. "Oh, hello! Come in!"

"Hello! Rory was staring Ava down, and she surprised me too!" Troye says and lifts Rory into his arms.

"Yeah! She likes to do that sometimes, and then tell me somebody's here. Interest in doorbells. She's silly." Tyler shrugs.

Rory squirms and laughs as she gets tickled, then hugs Troye.

Nash and Crouton sniff around and then walk away together, realizing there wasn't any food yet.

"I wasn't sure if the girls would be napping," Connor explains further. "So we only rang once."

"Yeah, no, they already took one earlier and went to bed earlier last night. So they're full of energy." Tyler tells his friend.

"Oh boy! Those holidays always mess up routines." Connor says with a chuckle.

"They sure do! The boys sleep schedules are non existent right now!" Tyler says to Connor as they both laugh.

"Same with my boys!" Connor says playfully.

"Hi, Mr. Tyler! Happy Thanksgiving!" Carson, Jack and Ava all say in unison.

"Hello! And happy Thanksgiving to you three! Dinner is almost done cooking! Sparrow, Archer and Hazel are all in the living room!" Tyler says with a smile.

"Okay!" Ava smiles and runs over to the living room, very, very excited. They were almost like cousins, her and Tyler's kids.

"Ava! HI!" Hazel says when she sees the older girl.

"Hi, Hazel! What a nice train track!" Ava gestures to the toys set up.

Hazel thanks her and drives a toy train across the wooden 'tracks'.

Sparrow and Jack talk about books, while Archer and Carson discuss the latest Beatles song, "Now And Then" and what they liked about it.

"Mommy! Can we have dinner now?" Hazel asks eagerly.

"Yes, honey! Now that we're all here, we can have dinner." Tyler lifts her up with a spin, making her laugh.

Everybody settles at the table, Rory banging away at her highchair, not for food - but for background music. It was rhythmic.

Tyler and Archer recognize that banging, and Archer was the one to answer, "I'll go put some on, okay?"

Rory nods and waits patiently and quietly. She grinned when music by Elton John started playing. It was a slower song called "Daniel" but she loved it. It was mellow and had good harmonies.

"She's got a real interest in music there!" Connor observes once they all begin eating and serving food.

"Yeah, sometimes she won't do anything until we put on at least one song. Any song." Tyler comments.

"They all do, actually. The boys play piano and guitar, Hazel plays maracas and seems to love drums, and Rory loves everything, especially bass guitar." Korey nods and takes a sip of his drink.

"Carson is in the strings part of the band at his middle school, he plays the viola." Connor says as Carson smiles.

"I play the violin for my school's band!" Jack says proudly.

"You do, that's right!" Connor says proudly as his middle child.

"I wanna do that too!" Ava says with a little pout.

"You will! Once you go into third grade you can sign up!" Connor says as he helps cut Ava's ham piece.

"Ba baaa!" Rory says with excitement.

"You like the stuffing, Rory? Mmmm!" Korey says as Rory smiles at her Daddy.

"Don't feed and food to Nash or Crouton! They already gotten their food." Tyler says as he watches Crouton and Nash sit close to Hazel and Rory.

"This food is soooo good!" Jack says with a cheeky smile.

"It is! Mr. Korey and Mr. Tyler did a great job!" Connor says with a smile.

"Dad! You got nominated for a Grammy? THATS SO COOL! Can we go to the Grammys?" Archer asks Troye.

"I'm not sure if kids are allowed to go! I'll ask someone and if they are, you two can come!" Troye says, getting Archer and Sparrow excited.

"That would be awesome if we could!" Sparrow adds.

Rory stares at the dogs and thinks about it, but remembers what Tyler said and keeps all her food above them.

Carson smiles too, happily eating Jell-O and green salad. He hums along to the music, as it switches to "Honky Cat".

Hazel is listening to everyone talk, more interested in the food, catching a few lines of words while enjoying some mashed potatoes.

"Yeah, we're going to decorate for Christmas at the start of December! So, A little over a week." Korey was saying.

"I can't wait! We bought new ornaments!" Archer says and takes a bite of bread.

"We did! And Hazel is old enough to help more if she wants to." Tyler nods.

"What do you want for Christmas, Haze?" Sparrow looks at his sister.

"A tambwine!" Hazel yells, making Crouton bark once.

"A tambourine? That sounds cool! I would like a surfboard!" Sparrow says back.

"I didn't know you were into surfing," Korey raises an eyebrow. "Since when?"

"Since a month ago! I've seen some videos and it looks really fun!" Sparrow tells Korey.

"Gymnastics looks super fun and super hard! But I bet I could do it!" Archer says and Sparrow nods in agreement,

"My favorite gymnastics is when they run and fly in the air and then the bar where they let go and flip!" Sparrow explains causing everyone to giggle.

"Ava's gym has slots if you guys are interested!" Connor says as he sips on his drinks.

"Aaaa!" Rory says as she begins to fuss.

"What's the matter, Rory girl? Do you want a roll? You love these, huh?" Tyler says as Rory instantly stops crying.

Tyler smiles and gives Rory a roll that he broke in half, which satisfies her and she quietly eats.

"She wanted to try these as soon as they came out of the oven. I guess babies love bread." Korey laughs a bit.

"Yeah, anything like that. But she's not picky, she'll eat almost any food. Just has her favorites." Tyler agrees.

"Carson was like that at Rory's age too. And a while after that." Connor says with fondness. "He used to say "woh, p'ease." It was so cute!"

"Daaaad!" Carson groans with embarrassment.

Troye gets some more water for Rory and juice for Hazel when he notices they want more.

"Aww, that's adorable!" Tyler says to Connor.

"I know! I think he stopped saying it when he was about five." Connor earns another dramatic noise from his son.

Some time passes, and everybody is sitting around, talking until the music changes from Elton John to Queen.

Rory looks slightly startled as Roger Taylor whispers "I'm the invisible man" and the song continues. She grips onto Korey's shirt since he was closest.

"Oh, it's okay. Did that scare you a little?" Korey comforts her. She nods but then relaxes and starts dancing.

"When's the wedding you two?" Troye asks playfully, causing Korey to laugh and Tyler to playfully blush.

"I think Korey and I are just gonna get married at the court house and just have a big reception!" Tyler explains to Connor

"I agree. Weddings are beautiful and all, but it's a waste of money." Korey says causing all four adults to laugh.

"Troye says the same thing!" Connor says as he giggles at his boyfriend.

Archer, Sparrow, Carson and Jack all finish eating and put their plates in the dishwasher before all heading to the playroom upstairs.

Ava happily climbed into Connor's lap while Hazel got in Korey's. Rory happily stayed in her highchair playing with a few small toys.

"Well, I think there's a comprise in there somewhere. Not too expensive but still elegant." Tyler says optimistically.

"Yeah, I guess so," Troye shrugs. "There are some things that are worth getting high quality."

Rory drives a toy car along the highchair tray, humming "Drive My Car" by The Beatles, then to the song playing, "I'm In Love With My Car".

Troye notices the distinction in the two songs and grins. "She's humming car-related songs. Clever girl." He mentions.

"Hm? Oh, yeah," Tyler looks at Rory and looks proud. "She's very into cars, so she knows all the songs. Any that mention it."

"Beep beep!" Rory says as she smiles

"You honking?" Tyler says playfully to Rory as Rory giggles.

Archer, Sparrow, Carson and Jack all scream playfully from the playroom.

"Wonder what game they are playing?" Connor asks playfully.

"Probably the new Mario game! My mom sent it for the boys and they are obsessed." Tyler says with a chuckle.

"Nana and Papa!" Hazel says with a big smile.

"Yup! Nana and Papa sent all of you lots of toys! And it's not even Christmas!" Korey says playfully.

"I wuv Christmas!" Ava says happily.

"Me too, Ava! Do you know what you want from Santa?" Tyler asks Ava.

"Yes, I want a painting set!" Ava declares, still comfortable in Connor's lap.

"Ooh, that sounds fun!" Connor says to Ava.

"Hazel knows what she'd like. How about you, Rory?" Tyler looks at his youngest daughter.

"Wogah!" Rory looks suddenly interested.

"Roger? From Queen?" Tyler asks to confirm.

"Yeah!" Rory squeals.

"They make a Funko Pop like that, I'm pretty sure." Troye says helpfully.

"Hazel, what do you want from Santa?" Korey questions. She mentioned a tambourine earlier, but didn't specify.

"I want da Beatles!" Hazel remembers. "Tiny ones!"

"Oh, right. They make Little People Beatles she saw one day and asked for." Tyler whispers. Connor and Troye nod.

"Christmas sounds like it'll be fun. It's more fun with kids, especially Hazel's age." Korey says.

After two songs, it's time for dessert and at the mention of it, the boys have all returned for some.

"What is there? It looks delicious!" Jack says and looks curiously.

"This is pumpkin pudding. It's like pie but without a crust. And it's vegan!" Archer explains eagerly.

"Is it gonna taste like plants?" Jack asks playfully.

"No, it should taste good!" Korey says playfully back to Jack.

"It's sooooo good!" Sparrow says with a big grin.  

"Yay! Pudding time!" Hazel says as she jumps up and down.

"We are all getting some! Right Rory? Do you want some?" Tyler asks Rory and Rory nods as she claps her hands.

One by one, Korey cuts a piece for everyone to enjoy!

Korey ends up having to use a serving spoon as well, since it isn't completely firm, being pudding, after all, but it works.

"Da daa!" Rory says as she reaches for a little spoon.

"I know! It's so exciting! Here you go, baby." Korey gives Rory a little bowl with the dessert.

As they start eating, Jack makes happy noises, realizing that it does taste like pumpkin pie. "You're right! It's tasty!"

Sparrow eats his pudding too, satisfied with the taste. He wasn't picky, and it was a treat he really liked.

Hazel carefully eats, doing a little dance for a second after she tries a few bites.

"Rory girl! You are making a mess, sweetheart." Tyler says, wiping off Rory's mouth.

"Look at her feeding herself! She does a pretty good job!"

"Both Hazel and Rory knew what to do right away! Sparrow and Archer just liked playing with their food." Tyler says as Troye laughs at the memory.

"Oh they would make such big messes. I would never thought babies could make that big of a mess!" Troye says as Connor laughs.

"Well you two had two babies! Not just one!" Korey says as he chuckles.

"I think it's also because the girls have big brothers to see how to do things too! But yeah, two babies.." Tyler starts.

"..Two babies have more fun playing just in general, same energy. Same development stages, I guess." Troye finishes the sentence.

Rory uses her left hand to finish eating, playing with her toy car at the same time.

"Is she a lefty?" Connor wonders.

"It's hard to tell yet, but it seems like it so far. It might change, though. We don't know." Tyler shrugs.

"I wouldn't be surprised! There's always a slight chance." Korey joins in.

Archer picks up Crouton and holds him like a baby, which the dog allows him to.

"He likes being carried. He's funny like that!" Sparrow says when he looks at Crouton staying still. Jack laughs.

Tyler cleans up Rory and dances with her in his arms for a moment, keeping her entertained.

Hazel and Ava happily dance around and giggle loudly at each other.

"Ma ma!" Rory says to Tyler happily.

"Yes, baby?" Tyler says as he smiles at Rory, fixing her hair.

"Baaaaa by!" Rory says causing Tyler to lighten up as she learns a new word.

"You are the baby! That's right!" Tyler says as he picks up Rory and kisses her.

"Did you knock up Tyler again?" Troye asks Korey playfully causing Connor to bust out laughing.

"Hell no! No more babies right now. We are busy enough." Korey says

"What about you two? Are you two having a baby?" Tyler asks Connor and Troye playfully.

"Maybe someday. I never tried to have one!" Connor says as he blushes.

"Your parts will work, trust me. Troye got them working." Tyler says as Korey and Troye laugh.

After a little more conversation, Connor notices the time and gets some leftovers to go home with, trying to get the kids together to leave too.

"Okay.. It was really fun today. Hopefully we'll see you guys again!" Carson says, hugging Archer and Sparrow when they confirm it's okay to hug them.

"Bye! It was fun!" Ava says and hugs Hazel, both girls copying their brothers.

Korey starts to clean up, though it would be at least an hour of cleaning, including the kitchen counters and floors and all.

"Bye! Thanks for inviting us!" Troye says with his arm around Connor.

"Of course! Drive safely!" Tyler replies, Hazel blowing kisses to Troye and Rory attempting to do the same.

"See you guys later!" Connor says as he waves goodbye at everyone before he, Ava, Carson and Jack all get in the car.

"Archer, Sparrow, I'll pick you two up Saturday okay? We can go shopping." Troye says to the boys.

"Okay, Dad!" Archer and Sparrow both say in unison with cheeky grins.

"Bye bye!" Rory says to Troye, waving.

Troye grins and waves back before he leaves with Nash. The door shuts.

"Mama, I'm hungry." Hazel says after a minute.

"You're still hungry?" Tyler laughs a bit, but doesn't argue. "How about some cheese?" She nods.

"I'll get her some." Korey offers, still cleaning up.

"It's okay, I can do it. You're busy." Tyler smiles and sets Rory on the floor to play.

Korey looks unsure but soon smiles and continues what he was doing.

Hazel thanks Tyler when he gives her some cubed cheese on a plate and she slowly eats.

"Well, that was a night." Tyler says to Korey, the boys and Rory in the other room still dancing to Queen.

"It was nice! I'm just glad all of the kids get along very well. Since Troye might - " Korey says as Tyler gasps loudly.

"TROYE IS PROPOSING?" Tyler whispers loudly to Korey as he gets excited.

"I don't know! He said he was thinking about it. Maybe in a few months." Korey says as Tyler squeals.

"Aw! That's so fun! I always knew they would get back together after they broke up." Tyler says causing Korey to chuckle.

"I wonder if they would have their own baby?" Korey asks Tyler as he watches Hazel and Rory happily playing.

"Maybe! They have five kids between them. But Connor always said he wanted to have his own baby. That's why Connor adoptee his three because he wanted to be a Dad." Tyler explains to Korey.

Korey nods, "Right, right. It would be a cute idea, though. And Troye does really like kids."

"I think it's a possibility still. You make a good point." Tyler looks at the window and hums.

Rory crawls over to her parents, showing them a teddy bear before she hugs it.

"Aww, is that your teddy? I see it. How nice!" Korey looks down at her.

"I love this age," Tyler says. "They're so curious about everything and want to show you what they're excited about."

"I still think Rory looks like you." Korey says to Tyler and Tyler playfully rolls his eyes.

"No way! She's your twin! Hazel is too! Those Kuhl genetics." Tyler says as Korey laughs.

"Well, you have one child that looks like you! Archer!" Korey says playfully, kissing Tyler.

"Up up!" Rory says to Korey.

"Okay! I'll pick you up!" Korey says, picking up Rory.

"Daddy's girl! You and Haze are!" Tyler says as Rory smiles, hugging her Daddy.

Korey rubs Rory's back tiredly, careful not to get in the way of her teddy bear.

Hazel runs into the room too, stopping at Tyler and reaching her arms out.

"And you, miss, like me a lot too." Tyler lifts Hazel up and sets her on his lap.

"A lot a wot a lot!" Hazel repeats, giving Tyler a hug.

"I'm thankful for all of you guys. You and Daddy and your brothers." Tyler tells her before carrying her upstairs for bed.

Everyone gets ready for bed and sleep easily, worn out from all the socializing.

Tyler, Korey, Archer, Sparrow, Hazel and Rory all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! :)
