Today is Thanksgiving at the Oakley household!

This year is going to be a small but still festive Thanksgiving for Tyler, Archer, Sparrow and Crouton!

Due to the Covid pandemic still happening and is going up and down, Troye, Tyler or Korey family members couldn't travel to California to join Thanksgiving dinner with them.

Usually for Thanksgiving, Tyler and the boys either go to Michigan to visit his family or the boys go with Troye to Australia to visit his family!

But this year, Thanksgiving will only be Tyler, Korey, Archer, Sparrow, Crouton, Troye, Troye's dog Nash, Troye's little brother Tyde and Tyde's girlfriend Maddie!

Right now, Korey, Tyler and Maddie are in the kitchen cooking different things for dinner while Troye, Tyde, Archer and Sparrow are all in the living room playing Mario Kart!

Crouton and Nash are both sleeping on Crouton's big dog bed, one dog on each side.

"Who are you going to be, Uncle Tyde?" Archer asks Tyde happily.

"I think I'm going to be Princess Peach! What about you, Archer?" Tyde asks Archer with a cheeky grin.

"I think I'm going to be Rosalina! Rosalina is a queen compared to Princess Peach!" Archer explains to Tyde.

*Archer and Sparrow's outfits with dark jeans*

"I'm going to be Yoshi!" Sparrow says with a giggle.

"Who are you going to be Dad?" Archer asks Troye.

"Yeah, Dad! Who are you going to be?" Sparrow also asks Troye.

"I think I'm going to be Luigi!" Troye says at the boys.

"I am going to win and beat all of you!" Tyde says playfully.

"No, I am!" Archer says playfully back to Tyde.

"I am actually!" Troye says playfully to Tyde and Archer.

"I'm the best at this game though!" Sparrow says to everyone as the race gets ready to start.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Tyler is making some mashed potatoes. It was a recipe he'd got from a Good Housekeeping magazine.

"I'm trying a cauliflower potato blend instead of regular mashed potatoes this year! Shh, don't tell the boys! I'm trying to get more vegetables in them." Tyler says with a laugh.

Korey and Maddie laugh too, stirring their dishes. Korey is making a simple cranberry sauce and Maddie is working on the pumpkin pie.

"It smells amazing with all the food! Smells like the turkey is almost done!" Korey mentions and peeks into the oven.

"I'm just decorating the pie! It's store bought because pumpkin pies are hard to make!" Maddie admits, smiling eagerly.

"Trust me, I would have bought a store bought pie too! I suck at baking!" Tyler says as he smiles.

"I WON!" Archer yells happily from the living room.

"You came out of no where!" Sparrow says to Archer as he grunts in annoyance.

"Because I got the star!" Archer says with a smile at Sparrow.

"Wow, I got last place!" Tyde says as he giggles.

"I got seventh place, woo!" Troye says sarcastically.

"Mom! Is dinner done?" Archer asks Tyler.

"Yeah, Mom! Is Thanksgiving dinner done?" Sparrow asks Tyler.

"Almost!" Tyler says happily to Archer and Sparrow.

The twins giggle as well, turning off the video game and running upstairs.

"I wonder what they're doing?" Troye asks out loud, looking quizzical.

"It must be important if they've turned off the game!" Tyde half jokes with his big brother.

After a minute, Archer and Sparrow return with gifts in their hands. Archer made bracelets for all of the guests and Sparrow made some paintings!

Both Archer and Sparrow go around, passing out their Thanksgiving gifts.

"Thanks! I love it! But it's not Christmas yet?" Troye says, confused as he puts on an orange, brown and red bead bracelet.

"These are to show thanks, silly!" Archer says and waits to make sure Maddie isn't actively doing something before holding out her bracelet.

"Aw, thank you Archer! I love it!" Maddie says with a big smile at Archer as she hugs him.

"You're welcome, Maddie!" Archer says with a big grin.

"I love my bracelet, Archer! Thank you!" Tyde says to Archer. 

"You're welcome, Uncle Tyde!" Archer says with a smile.

"Your paintings look so nice, Sparrow! You are a little Picasso!" Korey says causing Sparrow to giggle.

"Thanks! I love my painting class I've been in!" Sparrow says to Korey.

"They don't have a bracelet class but I've been using YouTube!" Archer says to Korey and Korey smiles.

"That's so cool!" Korey says to Archer.

Troye gets up off of the couch and takes Crouton and Nash outside!

"Mom, will Crouton and Nash have a yummy Thanksgiving dinner too?" Sparrow asks Tyler.

"Yup! Crouton and Nash will have some special dog food!" Tyler says with a grin.

"Ooh! I bet it will taste good to them!" Sparrow replies and grins.

"Yeah! Crouton and Nash are going to love their special dinner!" Archer says with a giggle.

After a few more minutes, dinner is ready and Tyler has everyone wash their hands and sit at the dining room table as Korey helps puts out all of the food on the table.

Tyler gives Korey a little kiss on the cheek before sitting down as well.

Once Maddie, Tyde, Troye, Sparrow, Archer, Tyler and Korey all sit around the table it is time for prayer.

"Okay! Let's all say something we are grateful for before we eat!" Tyler announces happily.

"I am grateful for music! And for my family being together today!" Archer says with a wide grin across his face.

"I'm grateful for video games! And for Crouton, Mom, Dad and Uncle Korey!" Sparrow says, making everyone laugh.

"I am grateful for this delicious food and for Maddie!" Tyde says and sits up nicely.

"I am grateful for my music doing well, my health, my boys and all of you!" Troye says causing Archer and Sparrow to laugh.

"I'm grateful for everything!" Maddie says with a smile.

"I think Crouton and Nash are grateful for all of their food and toys!" Troye says to everyone.

"What about you, Mom? What are you grateful for?" Archer asks Tyler.

"I am grateful for so many things I can't even list them all!" Tyler says with a cheeky grin. 

"And I'm very grateful for being here with you all!" Korey says sweetly.

"Shall we eat?" Maddie asks happily, and Korey, Tyler, Troye, Tyde, Archer and Sparrow all make noises of agreement.

Archer gets an idea as they begin to eat, raising his hand.

"Yes, Archie? What is it?" Troye asks and looks at his son.

"Umm.. Can.. Speaking of music, can we put something on during dinner and dessert?" Archer asks politely, feeling a tiny bit shy.

"Sure! That sounds good!" Tyler says and Korey, Maddie, Tyde and Troye all smile.

Tyler turns on his blue tooth speaker and plays some music softly in the background.

Tyler, Korey, Troye, Tyde, Maddie, Archer and Sparrow all begin to eat their Thanksgiving dinner!

Crouton and Nash finish their special dinner and they walk over to the dining room table, sitting near Archer and Sparrow.

"Nash, don't beg." Troye says to Nash.

"Crouton Oakley, go lay down." Tyler says to Crouton playfully.

"They just want more food!" Archer says to Tyler and Troye.

"Maybe they are still hungry!" Sparrow says to Tyler and Troye.

"No, they aren't hungry. They both just had a big bowl." Tyler explains to Archer and Sparrow.

"They're not growing like you squirts! They just love food and attention!" Troye says with a laugh.

Archer giggles as both dogs lay down on the dog beds again.

"I like this, Mom! What is it?" Sparrow asks curiously as he points to the roasted vegetable assortment.

Archer meanwhile tries a few bites of Jell-O salad, deciding he likes the flavor of lime!

"Yeah! And what's this, Mom?" Archer asks Tyler.

Archer and Sparrow both had so many questions but Tyler is grateful they're trying new foods.

Tyler answers the boys questions one by one, causing Korey to smile ear to ear.

Korey is a little nervous about being a dad but he know he has Tyler to help him learn to ropes.

"I'm glad you two are trying more foods! Whenever you are full just stop eating. I don't want you guys to stuff yourselves and feel sick." Tyler says to the boys.

"Do you guys want a baby brother or a baby brother?" Maddie asks Archer and Sparrow.

"I want a baby sister!" Archer says happily as he eats some mashed potatoes.

"I want a baby brother!" Sparrow says with a grin.

"Either say it's going to be a lot of fun!" Tyde says to the boys.

"It is! And we can teach a baby brother or baby sister how to play Minecraft or Mario Kart! And how to play piano and guitar!" Archer tells the group, specifically Maddie.

"You two will have to wait until the baby is a little older to do all of those but yeah! You totally can!" Maddie says happily to Archer.

Tyler, of course has also taught his boys that clothes, games, toys and many other things are not gendered and he made sure that they both knew that.

"What do you two think the baby should be named?" Korey asks Sparrow and Archer.

It was just a question for fun, even though the name will be unaffected by the suggestions, since Tyler and Korey already have a boy and girl named picked out.

"I like the names Janet and Galileo!" Archer says to Korey with a big smile.

"I think.... Michelangelo and Clare!" Sparrow answers Korey while he takes a bite of salad.

"Those names are so fun! I like those! What about you, Ty?" Korey asks Tyler.

"I like them too! Korey will definitely put them on our baby name list!" Tyler says with a big grin.

"What do you two want for Christmas?" Tyde asks Archer and Sparrow.

"Animal Crossing Amiibo cards for my collection please!" Archer says happily.

"I want some slime and I want a skateboard!" Sparrow also says happily.

"Okay! What are you gonna ask Santa for Christmas?" Troye asks and leans back in his chair.

"I want a Minecraft fox and a KK Slider plushie! They're so soft and cute!" Archer says and flaps his hands a little.

"I'm going to ask Santa for an Apple Watch and headphones!" Sparrow replies with a cheeky grin.

"Those sound awesome! I think Santa can do that! And you are tech savvy aren't you, Sparrow?" Maddie says to Archer and Sparrow.

"Yeah! I like tech stuff and video games!" Sparrow says with a grin.

"Me too!" Archer says as he stims a little.

"Santa is going to be busy this year!" Tyler says with a chuckle.

"He definitely will be!" Troye says as he giggles at Tyler.

"Uncle Korey! Does Santa give babies presents when they aren't born yet?" Archer asks Korey.

"Hmm, that's a good question! I don't know!" Korey says with a chuckle.

"Well, Santa buys little babies gifts for Christmas! Santa spoiled you both when you two were babies." Tyler says to Archer and Sparrow.

Archer and Sparrow both giggle and smile at Tyler, finishing up their dinner!

After some more fun discussions, Tyler, Korey, Archer, Sparrow, Tyde, Maddie and Troye all eat many desserts before they watch football and play some board games together!

Tyler, Korey, Archer, Sparrow, Troye, Tyde, Maddie, Crouton and Nash all had a wonderful Thanksgiving together! :)
