Chapter XI
Thanks to @Krissythedemigod for giving me the chapter idea and her character.
Adam's PoV
Dang, that girl is annoying. I'm glad she teleported. Hey.. that Xandra girl is lookin' at me weird, wonder why. I went to comfort her but now she's glaring at me like I did something wrong. She gets up and looks me right in the eye with her eyes the color of a cloudy sky.
"Why the Nether do you have the aura of Herobrine? WHY?!"
"Hey, girl, back off! Quit acting like this is an interrogation session!"
"I'll stop acting like this is an interrogation session when you tell me why you have the aura of Herobrine!" she screeches at me.
"STOP!" I say. I hear a voice in my head.
Hello, son, he says. I think in my mind,
"Get out of my head, Herobrine!"
Nope, he says. I feel a rush as I get teleported and I land in a cell next to a girl with shoulder length brown hair cut similar to Ty's with the emo bit hanging over her left eye and maroon eyes, with a dark blue hoodie and electric blue jeans. I notice a silver necklace with a single opal embedded in the charm. I sigh.
"Hi, I'm Adam," I say.
"Krissy," she says. The name is familiar, but just out of reach of my memory.
"We gotta get outta here," I say.
"Listen, we wait for that Wither skeleton to unlock the door to give us food, then we make a run for it. Those skellies don't carry bows, they sure ain't smart, and Herobrine's too busy talking to Notch about Notch-knows-what to care," Krissy whispers. I nod, a smirk forming on my face.
"Will do," I say in a hushed voice. A skeleton clanks into view, and unlocks the door.
"I know the way out," Krissy whispers to me. I nod. The skeleton opens the door way too wide, and as he's chucking bread at us, we make a run for it.
"Hey!" it yells. "Get back here!" We keep running until Krissy accidentally takes a wrong turn and we end up in Herobrine's throne room.
"Welp," I say. "We're screwed." Herobrine laughs, a spine-chilling, menacing sound that, once you've heard it, makes you want to cry, throw up, pee your pants, and disappear at the same time.
"Hello, son," he bellows terrifyingly as his lip curls in amusement. I clench my fists.
"Shut up!" I yell.
"Oh, she doesn't know? Perhaps I'll, how do you say, enlighten you!" he says. Waving his hand, my sunglasses pull off my face and into Herobrine's hand, where they are crushed in his grasp. I try to avoid looking at Krissy because of the horrible sight my eyes are, but she grabs my head and turns it sideways, where my eyes are visible, but they aren't really eyes. They are glowing, white, soulless pits like my wretched father Herobrine's. One hand still on my jaw, her face softens.
"Adam, it doesn't matter. Look at what I am. But that doesn't matter, who you are on the inside is what matters," she says quietly, pulling off her necklace. She transforms into a being that I would call a female Enderlox, but she's not Ender. Her eyes are now an electric blue, and she has wings and a tail, but instead of black and purple, they're a navy blue and sky blue.
"I'm part Sky dragon, but WHO CARES?! Who I really am on the inside is what counts," she tells me.
"My brother must have been waiting for me for a few months..." she says absentmindedly, pulling on her necklace while seeming reminiscent.
"Who's your brother?" I ask.
"Ty," she says. "Ty Ellis."
