Epel stumbled as another Pomefiore First year tripped him.

"Real mature Alex."

Epel glared at the other purple haired boy.

"Ah! Stop being so cruel! It doesn't suit your pretty face"

Alex said. Epel clicked his tongue and turned before walking away.

"Where are you going?"

Alex called.

"Away from you before I lose all my brain cells due to your stupidity."

"Oh Come on! You're a party pooper."

One of the boys, Jacob, said.

"Your voice is annoying Jacob maybe you should try shutting up for once."

"Why you-" The tall man tried to walk up to Epel but the Baby of the group, Skylar, who was really a down right bitch who pretended to be nice, stopped him.

"Jacob Dear, He merely doesn't have any manners unlike us other Pomefiore students, He quite literally was raised in a barn. Cut him some slack."

Epel clicked his tongue and walked faster. He stoped at Skylar's voice

"Oh! And Epel dear! Maybe leave NRC? You clearly don't belong. I'm sure you've noticed that those boys; Yuu, Jack, Deuce, Ace, and Sebek, are just using you for your body. I Mean once they get their way they'll leave you and only come back for sex."

Skylar walked up to Epel and whispered in his ear.

"But you would like that wouldn't you, You slut. Leave NRC and Pomefiore and recommend me for Vil's new protege, and maybe I'll set you up with a good Strip club. After all your only good for entertainment."

Skylar backed off and smiled sweetly.

"Give it some thought Babes! Have a good day Sweety!"

Skylar skipped away and Epel left. He entered the Pomefiore lounge.

"Ah! Epel, Can you come over here?"

Epel turned and saw Vil. He smiled and walked over.

"Yes, Vil san?"

"I wanted to ask a question."

Epel tilted his head.

"What is it?"

Vil looked at Epel with a softer than usual smile.

"I Know you're not interested in Acting or modeling but I was given my first role as a hero and I need a Sidekick. Would you take the part?"

Epel looked at Vil in amazement.

"B-but what if I mess up?"

"It's fine if you stumble or flub lines that would fit with the character. I won't be able to get your script for a day though. So I wont get it until after tomorrow. You have till tomorrow to decide. I'm sorry for the time crunch but I trust you diction making capabilities."

Epel, while reluctant, was interested. Maybe he didn't like Acting but if it helped Vil....

"I'll think about it."

"That's all I ask."

"I need to go. Bye Vil!"

"Goodbye Epel."

Epel walked out of the dorm. He planned to consult His friends. He Pulled out his Over the ear headphones and slid them on. He Put his playlist on shuffle, Color me blue started playing. He ensured the volume was low, just a faint background hum, that was how he liked it. He walked down the cobblestone paths under the Oak and Apple trees. The Mirror back to school was on a Platform and inset in a peacock shaped statue. He Walked up the platform's steps and stepped into the mirror. He Appeared inside the Mirror chamber. Ruggie was walking out of Savannah Claws Mirror with Leona.

"Ah! Good Morning Rugged and Leona Senpai!"

"Hey Epel"

Ruggie called back. Leona justed huffed.

"Is Jack still at your dorm?"

"Nah, The Frosh is at the Cafeteria."

"Thank you Leona Senpai! I'll see you at practice Ruggie Senpai!"

"Whatever, Bye Omnivore."

"Yup, se ya at the SpellDrive Pitch!"

The two walked off and Epel exited the Chamber and started down the paths. Lilia was off to the side trying to wake Silver up.

"Good Mornin'- I mean morning Lilia senpai!"

Epel waved.

"Ah! Good morning Epel! Sebek's at the Cafeteria"

"Thank you!"

Epel walked off and he heard a faint stay up Siver behind him he Chuckled. Leaves fell from the trees as the wind blew. It reminded him of walks at home. He remembered the beauty of the Sun rises, he saw them with his own eyes after all. He Neared the Castle and followed the students into the school. A Few waved at him. He may not have been popular but some people liked him. He Saw Trey, Cater and Riddle. He walked over.

"Good morning, Riddle, Trey, Cater. How's your morning?"

"Ah! Eppy! My morning has been Totes amazing!"

"That's good."

Epel smiled.

"My Morning has been alright, I prepared a few unbirthday party treats."

"Speaking of Unbirthday parties, one is planned for 2 days from now. Please come and it will serve as my thank you for helping me move those books to the Library. Vil can come as well. But as for your question, my morning has been acceptable. A few rule breakers but no problems."

"That's good."

"Oh Yes! I'm sure you want to know where Ace, Deuce, and Yuu are. They're in the cafeteria. They're waiting on you I think."

"Ah Thank you Riddle senpai! I need ta go! See ya later!"

Epel ran off as the three waved at him. He Opened the Cafeteria doors and Popped off his headphones walking to the table where they all sat along with Ortho.

"Good Mornin'!"

Epel exclaimed, sliding into a seat. Yuu slid him a Silver tray with Yogurt, Strawberries, Eggs, and Bacon.

"Thank you."

Epel picked up the utensils and began to eat.

"Good morning Epel." Deuce said.

"Yup." Ace shoved the straw of a latte in his mouth.

"GOOD MORNING HUMAN!"

"Good morning Epel Felimer -san"

"Good Morning." Jack said

"Morning Epel" Yuu smiled.

"Where's Grim?"

"He ate something rotten last night, he's sick."

"Ah, I actually need your opinions."

"What is it?" Yuu asked.

"Uhm....Vil gave me an opportunity to act besides him in a video. I need help making a decision."

"Well, I think you should do it." Jack said, biting into his waffles with pear compote.

"Same." Ace said Swallowing a mouth full of cherry topped pancakes.

"It would be an amazing opportunity, Epel Felimer-San!"

"INDEED IT WOULD!" Sebek Chuged his bitter coffee, grimacing.

"It is a pretty good chance." Deuce said in thought.

"It really is but the most important answer is do you want to?" Yuu asked.

"I don't know..."

"Then think!" Yuu laughed.

"Alright I will." Epel smiled fondly.

"I'm glad this is settled but we need to eat. Class begins in 15 minutes." Jack said.

"Ah Right!"

Epel began eating again. He finished in 8 minutes and they started off to class. Students passed by them as the group of 7 talked. It was nice. Epel was glad he left his little town. They went their separate ways and class began.

Epel stared bored as Trein teched. History was a snore fest. Somehow Jack always stayed awake and he always black males Jack into giving him his notes. Trein talked about a civil war as Epel slept in the back. Jack's Muscular form hid him. The bell rang walking him up. He packed his bag and off to Flight they went. They had a test. The class passed too quickly for Epel's taste and he had to leave. After that the school day seemed to blur together. Soon he was back at the dorm and walking to his room in order to set his things down and go to Vil's. Vil told him to come their after school during lunch. He turned down his rooms hall where it was always empty. Only he and his dorm mates even had a room there. But he was stoped by none other than Skylar.

"What do you need, Skylar?" Epel asked.

"Nothing much! I Just need you to deny Vil's ofer and direct him toward me."

"Why would I do that? It's fucking stupid for me to give such an intresting opportunity to someone who isn't even my friend."

"Oh, Such cruel words. Can we all get along."

Epel Scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Sure! Once were both in hell and you stop being such a two faced bitch."

Skylar squawked.

"TWO FACED!? That's a real bold statement coming from a Hillbilly who's likely to die of starvation with how poor he is! You don't even buy your lunch 3 out of 4 times because of how poor you are! That red head and the Silver haired Cutie from Diasomina always pay for you. You're such a slut. I bet you're sleeping with them for money."

"Don't accuse me of such disgusting things."

"Oh Shut it. Look either you tell him no tomorrow at lunch where I can make sure you did or you reap what you sewed."

"Real bold coming from the guy who can barely run one lap and can even lift a feather with his magic. Go find someone who cares."

Epel shoved past Skylar and walked right into his room. He tossed the items he had onto his bed and changed into his uniform before exiting the room. Skylar was still in the hall.

"This is a no loitering zone please leave or be vacated from the premises."

Epel smiled as he locked his dorm room and shoved past Skylar. He went straight up the stairs to Vil's room. And knocked on the door. He was let in easily. That's where he spent his night. IT was lovely.

The nest day Epel's routine repeated and the day passed easily and once it was lunch time he entered the cafeteria. He saw Skylar Sitting near where he, Rook, and Vil eat at lunch. Epel sat down himself with no hesitation and launched into a conversation about a movie he watched. For the entirety of lunch they ate and spoke of school, and movies. Epel sent a glance at Skyler who was red as an apple. Epel grinded and walked back up to His friends after Vil and Rook left. They planned to go see a new horror movie coming out.

The day continued and he ended with Magical theory. He and Jack exited the classroom and met up with The others but then Epel noticed he didn't have his phone.

"Shit, I think my phone is back in class. I'm gonna go grab it real quick."

"Do you want us to come?" Yuu asked.

"Nah, Just wait here it should only take me like 5 minutes at most."

"K but if you're not back in five we are coming to find you." Ace said.

"Alright!" Epel said as he ran off.

He entered the classroom and immediately saw Skylar with his Phone.

"Are you looking for this?"

"Yes....."

Epel carefully crept closer and snatched it.

"You know Epel. I gave you a chance but you're so stubborn and denied me ...."

"What about it."

"Well... You need punishment for your disobedience."

Skylar snapped his fingers and the doors slammed sut. Epel looked at them.

"Wha-"

His arms were enraged by Vines that bound them back and Skylar started hitting. A kick a punch, more and more came. Epel collapsed as a kick enforced by magic slammed into his gut.

"AGH!"

"MAYBE NEXT TIME YOU LISTEN!"

Skylar continued aiming for his head which he covered. Epel was inpain but did what he could. He grabbed the leg that tried to kick him and latched on.

"LET GO!"

"NO!"

"YOU BRAT!"

"VIL CALLS ME THAT ALL THE TIME! TRY SOMETHING NEW1'

"AHHHH!" Skylar reached down and grabbed his throat.

Epel struggled from breath. HE searched his mind for answers but could only come up with a conversation from yesterday with Vil.

"Doing your makeup like this will make your eyes pop."

"Why would I want that?"

"Because your eyes are one of the most beautiful features you have."

"Huh? Blue is common. How are they pretty?"

"You eyes ... .They are untainted and Bright. That's what I like about them. They are also familiar and kind. But most of all, I like them because they're yours and you're very dear to me."

"Oh....I like your eyes too, Vil."

"Really? Why?"

"Their unmistakable you. They are Firm and beautiful. And Purple isn't comen. They make you look very you. THats all I can say. I don't have the right words."

"Thank you for that Epel."

Epel started screaming but it was silent.

"VIL! VIL!"

"Oh stop Screaming for Vil."

Epel glared at Skylar. That seemed to anger him more.

"DON'T YOU DARE LOOK AT ME WITH THOSE EYES! YOU KNOW WHAT I'LL FIx THAT! I'LL FIX THOSE DEFYANT EYES!"

Epel watched in Horror as Skylar pulled out a knife. He saw and felt as Skylar brought it down, cutting a line going straight through both his eyes. Epel screamed in pain as the doors slammed open.

"EPEL!"

It was Vil's voice.He felt the weight of Skylar disappear and he passed out.

Epel came to but it was dark. He could make out little patches of light but nothing else.

"H-hello?" Epel asked.

"EPEL!" Vil exclaimed as he felt someone hug him.

"W-who?"

"Epel, what do you mean who? It's Vil."

"Vil? Vil I can see you. I can make out patches of light but not anything else."

"Doctor Zevon. What's wrong with him?!"

"That's what I was going to tell you.... WHile the potions and magic healed him for the most part he has lost his vision."

"W-will I ever get it back?"

"....No, Sorry kid. I'll leave you two alone."

Doctor Zevon left.

"I'm sorry...."

"Epel why are you sorry."

"I can't act with you in that movie. I really wanted to....I-am also sorry..... My eyes likely aren't as pretty as you thought they were anymore."

"Epel your eyes are still plenty Pretty. They may be a little milky but they still hold that charm they always had. And about that movie, you can still act. If anything this makes you more authentic. The character you'll be playing is blind."

Vil Laughed. Epel Joined.

Epel supposed this wasn't the worst end....
